Boring Inu Yasha?

Has anyone noticed how Inu Yasha is draging on into the sunset? Why do we keep having to have detours, which in turn don't even add that much to the story? If it dosen't pick up or leave its rut soon, is anyone ready to jump off the band wagon?

| Yeah, it really irritated me... The ending of Inuyasha was horrible as well. They built it all up, and they didn't even know how to end it. :/ Horrible...just horrible. |

I've pretty much jumped off the bandwagon at the begining of the lastest season on adult swim although it was lagging long before that given it was never that exciting in the first place. |

| When it shows repeats then it does get irritating, but for the most part there are still new episodes coming out and I've yet to see the ending so I'm still into it. It's getting to me that a lot of people are saying that the ending was a letdown...was it really that bad? |

| Honestly they should have ended this series a long ago. It dragged on so long that they did not know what to do with the end so it was just cut and pasted one together it seemed like. This show should burn. |

It was like an anime SOAP OPERA. It went on and on, and the dilemas were always the same. It was fun the first time around, but once you got several episodes in, you began to notice a pattern. Kagome: Kouga, Inu Yasha, we must not fight! OMG IT'S SESSHO MARU! Inu Yasha: Don't worry, I'll protect y- Kikyo's in trouble, gotta run! I won't go into any more details. |

Well i saw the ending and its like over 200 episodes long more than naruto i believe. I know right it always has this gay love drama thing going on sheesh. Kagome is a 14 yr old girl with this 200 yr old guy Inuyasha and he has a old soulmate that is Kikyo and he cant let either of them go wat a womanizing pig.. If I was him I would just pick Kikyo and let her soul b taken away from Kagome and get on wit my life. O and since the anime is 8 seasons long it tends to get boring. Even the Inuyasha movies have the same storyline. Some evil bad guy wants to dominate the world and kidnaps kagome for the jewel shard and then Inuyasha saves the day. I cant wait to see wat the creator makes next. Ranma sucked , Inuyasha soo sucked wats next?  |

The begining of inuyasha was good, but after episode 140 something, it starts to getting boring and bad.

Inuyasha is more of a soap opera-like anime, but I wouldn't say that it's boring. If anything it was boring in the beginning, but it picked up immensely during the shichinitai arc.

GOD...don't even get me started on this series...I was obsessed (And when I say obsessed, I mean life-threatning) with the show/Manga for two years, and I watched almost every single episode, read almost every manga, bought merchindise, been on every fansite, and read all the fanfics immaginable! GAH! I was almost ready to pull my hair out! I mean, Inuyasha is kinda a cool show, but enough is enough...yeah, I hafta admit, some of the shows really SUCKED... I've passed on now, to a whole different genre of anime/manga...I've gotton more into feudal Japan during the Tokugawa and all that. To put it all simple, I am now a Rurouni Kenshin-Peace maker Kurogane fan now...e__e    |

Haha, I know EXACTLY what you mean. InuYasha was great at the beginning, I was obsessed. But when it gets to the point where 49/50 episodes are fillers... ><;; I only watch it on Adult Swim when I'm really bored. XD;; My new obsession is Violinist of Hameln. Only 25 episodes, there's no space for fillers there! XP |

I just wanted to add something. How come in the first season they had like naked scenes of hot girls and now its like nothing... did they want perverted guys to see it at first and then all the little kids started liking it? |

yes boring =__= i woudl really just like to get it over with... i would only get back to inuyasha when the last volume comes out considering the aniem ending is supposed to be horrible. oh yeah to sora: Have you read the Violinist of Hamelin manga? O___O i hated the anime cause i read the manga first..most of the stuff in the anime isn't true to the manga -__- personalities were changed, the whole course oif the plot steered into the angsty section... and the frozen frames are rather strange...
...blah....

Fawkes, I've only been able to read up to Volume 6 of the manga. I can't read a word of Japanese (except for 'of'), so this is the best I can do. >>;; But yes. Big change. I like mean Hamel better than emo Hamel. D: |

| In my opinion i think Inuyasha is the most boringest anime ever cuz they hav lik a lil chain reaction thingy lik inuyahsa fights either naraku or sesshomaru n then getz in afight wit kagome n then she reflects about him n her in her time n then go bak n then itz lik a mini story or memory of sum inuyasha character. |

Thank you, people, I thought I was alone... Every 5 or so episodes, they introduce a new character or villain that has SOME kind of problem and needs help. And everytime they run into Naraku, they always get *close* but never actually GET to killing him. The series carries into the second movie, for if you haven't seen it... they kill him... I'm so sorry for those of you who wanted to be surprised, but... how anti-climactic IS that? They couldn't kill him in the 200 episode-long series but were able to in the first 20 minutes or so in the movie? What the hell? |
