what's your favorite saiyuki quotes? (aside from the usual "Urusai!"-Sanzo, "Harahetta!"-Goku, etc.) My favorite's from Hakkai. Read my signature below, that's the ep where Hakkai came across his childhood friend who's now a nun. I love that episode! As long as it's Hakkai-centric I love it!!!

Eh...I never memorized this quote but it is like something the goddess of mercy told Konzen (Sanzo): "Like the sun huh? Can you still shine like the sun to him, Konzen?" ^_^ |

Hmm... My favourite quotes generally don't come from the characters themselves, but from the manga... (see sig) Another one being: "My despised skin told my with these fingers that soon will be the day we kill the gods." Or something I'm always quoting: "What's wrong with selfishness and egotism? We live to die smiling don't we?"  |

The best quotes and the really really good ones are mostly from the manga itself. My personal fave is the one on my sig quoted from sanzo in manga volume 5, its makes so much sense! >_< Another good one from sanzo - my fave char, is.. "Someday when you let go of my hand and try to fly away to the endless far blue sky, I'll give you a great push by kicking you hard on the back, saying [go ahead] and smiling." also the one where sanzo was all crazy and beating up the woman who kidnapped him and wanted to eat him to earn eternal life into the underground sand castle and the three other people enter the scene. Gojyo:Stop it, Doing something like this isnt like you at all." Sanzo:Like me? What's being like me, then..? Goku:Hit me with the fan and yell [bakasaru!]. Because thats the sanzo i know. and another..."Everyone lives and dies only for him or herself." Theres too many good quotes, i cant list them all! @_@  |

It's Sanzo's... sorry, I can't remember the exact words but it goes like this. Please correct me if there's any mistake. "God saves noone. You are the only one who can save yourself." I forgot the continuation but that quote really hits my head and my heart.

ur right BlooD! I love that quote. as an added bonus, there's an episode when he said that to goku, gojyo and hakkai with background music for real[piano]. i'm touched when i heard him said that...and the background music made me cry...=^_^= |

uh you got the Cho Gonou one wrong. Gojyo: Just you wait, Cho Gonou, these eyes might be able to save you one last time. and to add to the favorite phrases... the subbed comment in episode 3 of Reload: Gojyo: "Ohk! Now its time to take care of the enem---" ~is tripped by Sanzo~ "what the hell was that for, I was going to destroy the enemy." Sanzo: "Even if it isn't the real me, I can't bear you killing it." Gojyo: "What? Why not?" Sanzo: "no reason." and then the dubbed voice in Gensomaden Saiyuki when they meet the desert demon who ate a sanzo.... the way gojyo says: "you can't kill me, i'm immortal..stupid slut" is priceless. Though - now I can't decide which series makes me laugh more... Saiyuki..or Full Metal Panic?Fumoffu. The philshophy Sanzo goes by: "Free of all, bound by nothing, live your life simply as it is." "From the day I was born until the day I die, I fight for no one but myself." (I'm taking these from the manga) Dokugakuji: "If you want to be happy, throw reason out the window... I guess." In volume 8, when Goku, Sanzo, and Hakkai face "Gojyo", he draws his weapon and demands, "Get talking! How'd you know I'm a fake?!" The 3 boys stare at him and think, 'He's a fake...?' In Reload volume 2, when the boys are faced with duplicates of themselves, Goku realizes something in the midst of battle, "Wait! If our doubles have come for US, that might mean... SANZO'S double could also be out there...!!" Hakkai: "You mean a FAKE SANZO?" Shadows appear on Gojyo, Goku, and Hakkai's faces as they all think, 'A fake Sanzo... That We Can HURT!' |

I have to agree with kira_lacus. This best and well known quote is "BAKASARU"!!!!!

i like sanzo quotes: "shine!" and yeah "baka saru" and then "URUSAI!" this is the best. with the harisen, sugoii na! and hakkai quotes: "yare-yare" and then he sigh.
