Ghosts and all them good things

Hiya! Watcha think o' ghosts? I believe - Ghosts: Belief is strong. Ghosts manifest themselves unto believers. Whether or not they are actually a connection to the deceased depends on the power of belief, much the same as those who believe in psychic abilities. Desire to believe and the belief itself are different; belief holds the actual power, not desire. I *think* I believe in ghosts... Afterlife: I don't think we can be punished eternally for something we did in this short existence known as life. Whether "going on" involves reincarnation or an "afterlife", I have no idea - I'm not dead yet! Shinigami: Sure! It could exist. Spirits & Souls: I don't think we "have" spirits/souls that inhabit our bodies. I don't really think of the body as connected to life that much. I think that we live, and our body and our mortal existence is something that just happens to happen along the way. Belief/faith: If someone says something that you think is true, it affirms your own beliefs. If something says something you think is untrue, it affirms your own beliefs! Love to hear people's own thoughts on ghosts (and all them good things)! I won't be offended by anything anyone says, and hope terribly that you'll return the favor! |

I didn't really believe in ghosts until I met my girlfriend. Her uncle died around a couple of years, and she thinks he still comes around her house every now and then, since someone makes noises in the kitchen at night and her bed shakes. She says that she has seen him too, but I don't know about that. Sometimes I hear stuff at her house at night too that I'm not sure what caused. :/ I agree about the afterlife... I imagine you probably just "die" and don't really know. Kinda like when you fall asleep and you don't know it. Then again, though, how would you explain ghosts, heh? |

| Well...in my honest opinion I really haven't encountered anything paranormal...but I partially believe in ghosts and other what nots. Part of my mind believes that that stuff is completely illogical, but the other side thinks "well if it doesn't exist, then why are there so many people out there that have witnessed such strange things and there are definitely some strange videos out there too..." So yeah, overall I partially believe it. ^___^ |

to my aunt a ghost almost killed her. He had a presence of a big man and he had a jacket cause it sonds like it, i went there and i saw my aunt holding her neck saing help me he is killing me and i didn't saw anything, later i started to hear the walls like shaking and strong stomps in the groun then my aunt fainted.so i ran out 4 help and then they attend her and i went to my house  |

I believe in all of those spiritual things. The ghosts are real, believe it or not. They're part of this world just like us. The world won't exist if the parts aren't complete. So, ghosts and us, humans, have to live in harmony to maintain the lifeforce of this world. Just like the saying, I forget who said that... lol

i belief our world was divided into two side. the human side( the one that we live in) and the ghost side. the ghost side is where the ghost that waited to be "picked" to the heaven or hell and they have not met peaceful death. the usually can't have a peaceful death because they have something to be done or accomplished. So they waited for a long time to be helped. but sometimes we can see ghost because: 1.accidentally we meet with them when they crossed our world to done smth. 2.For some reason : maybe they want to ask help or maybe they want to take revenge but they can't. We usually afraid of them without some reason, it's just our feeling. but the truth is... they are afraid of us so tehy usually don't "show up" much when human are having activity is the daylight. so they usually appeared in the night to do smth. So we could belief with them and that isn't wrong. and we don't have to afraid with them because if we don't disturb them they won't disturb us. |

Yea... I agree completely with RazzVeilansher. If we don't disturb them, they won't disturb us.

| I guess what I believe is a little complicated...I don't think of them as living entities, things that inhabit some place somewhere. Kinda like what I think about angels...I think angels are good thoughts that can manifest themselves as people or just as a good decision. Same with ghosts, only they can be any kind of anything. |

I definately think that ghosts exsist. I have had a few encounters, the most creepy when i had sudden sharp pain in my chest when my great grandma passed away (2 mins later the phone rang and my grandma said that she passed on.). The next morning, my great grandma's orchid (a flower that is really hard to get to bloom for those that dont know. my mom had tried to get her orchids to bloom after the first blooms fell off and still hasn't accomplished the task after 3 years.) broke into a full bloom. The creepy part about that was there was NO sign of new growth the day of her death. The next morning when I got up there was 2 new chutes which were in full bloom. I know planters that have well kept orchids, and i am POSITIVE that chutes take longer than one night to fully sprout and bloom. To this day (great grandma died 5 years ago, and one week away from her birthday.) my great grandma's orchid blooms from her deathday to her birthday. My aunt who is taking care of the orchid now has had many orchids, and her nor any other planters she spoke to about the happening understands this. It is a yearly pheonominon that will never be understood by the living. I believe that this is our reminder from a loved one to keep living life fully. I also think that when we pass on, we know that we are going. The orchid pheonominon has led me to know this. We are connected to people, and they will continue to connect to us after death even though we will never know. But if the connection (or will for a connection from the passed on) is strong, we are suddenly fully aware of their presence. |
