I love animes like: One piece: Luffy uses some strategies to fight crocodile that has sand power which can be solidify with water Hunter X Hunter: The part of Gon and Hisoka fight their opponent in heavens arena. Conclusion: Genre like strategies,comedy type or something like find out a strong opponent weakness. Prefers NOT horror type or too many dark scenes anime. Also comedy anime like: Baka to test to Shoukanjuu, Hataraku maou-sama (The dark as a part-timer), Nisekoi, Ouran High School Host Club |

I'm typically not much of a Shounen fan, so I'll list off anything that sounds like what you're describing in your conclusion. (refer to myanimelist.net if you want to know more) Code Geass Kill La kill (I'm aware I'm listing off like all the mainstream anime, but you preference for not dark animes has limited my suggestions considerably.) Summer Wars (movie) Desert Punk (extremely perverted/ Ecchi) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Trigun I might end up remembering something later...so enjoy this if you haven't seen all of these already. |

| I've just finished code geass. I wouldn't say the storyline was bad, but I don't really prefer, too many deaths. This is like the first anime I watched that has so many main character died. Atleast suzaku, Nunnully, and lelouch didn't. The OST of the music is not really rhythmic. It does have some strategy though, like lelouch used a mirror to make himself forgot, so that Mao is unable to read his mind, and another part is the part lelouch tried to kill his father by throwing pieces of mirror which reflects his geass. There's really little comedy involved, but rivals or the president of student council are the funny one I consider. This is just my personal opinion, no offense :-) |

Here are some anime to watch: Moribito Guardian Spirit (also try reading the novel which is under the same name); Mawaru Penguindrum; Fantastic Children; Nie A Under 7; Sketchbook Full Color;Haibane Renmei;Nadia The Secret Of Blue Water(a great story!)Samurai Champloo;Barakamon; Salor Moon (the original version); Kino's Journey; Kanon 2006; Clannad; Clannad After Story;Pupipo. This is just a few on my list. |
