Scariest Video Game Places

Here's a question for all of you. Where are the scariest, creepiest, most freaky places you ever had to encounter in any video game? Places you still don't like to adventure through. Places that are still nightmare fuel even today. I'll start with my top five... 5. Halo 1: 343 guilty spark the first time I encountered the flood, and subsequently almost every time after freaked me out a little. The atmosphere, lack of vision, and that worry of maybe not having enough ammo before the next checkpoint always kept me a bit on edge. 4. Fallout 3: buried tunnels The first time I entered the Mirelurk nest, I didn't want to even move under fear of death... I still sneak around out of caution in any tunnel. 3. DOOM (the remake): the bathroom mirror the first quarter of the game not only had you switching between a flashlight and a hand gun, and watching Imps emerge from bloody pentagrams on the floor, but I legitimately jumped the first time I looked into the bathroom mirror... The game truely gave you a feeling of being in hell. 2. Deadspace: first experience The first time I played this game was more terrifying than any other survival horror game I had ever played. From around every corner, to the sound effects of pipes clanging, I was more and more on edge with every step I took. 1. Half-Life 2: we don't go to Ravenholm First time I started this level, I stood out by the tree for 3 hours because I was too scarred. To this day, I hate headcrab zombies, the sounds they make, and the nightmare fuel that is Ravenholm. Let us know your least favorite places! |

I've played a bit of Witch's House and oh my God, that place is freaky!!! I think the worst for me at the moment is in the room withthe glass cases DX I've also played some Mad Father and the bit in the entrance hall is the scariest for me!! I still haven't bucked up the courage to go down there! DX |
