download refuses to play

Hello, after downloading, I get an icon on my desktop. Then I drag it to my quicktime icon where it refuses to play. Then I "get info" (Mac OsX) and it is 4kb, too small for an MP3 file. Have I been banned? Thanks
The image shall be brought forth from the imagination of the reader. I don't do pictures as you can plainly see.

there must have been some error. which song was it? open the file in textedit, what does it say?

Thanks for your reply. I can't send you the text file using this format, As soon as I edit my post it erases everything after the first three letters (ID3). After my e-mail to this forum I tried my XP maching using Firefox and Explorer. No download there either. The song was Fruits Basket - Sorairo. This also happened to the music I downloaded on 6/30. The trouble seemed to start when I double clicked on a download and a warning screen came up. It warned that download accelerators would not be tolerated or something like that. I wasn't using one (don't know about them) and found my file and continued on my download. I will gladly send you the Text edit file V.I.A. e-mail if you wish. Best, mysofa

if it starts with ID3 then it is a mp3 formatted file. for some reason your computer is cutting off the download after only 4k. if there is an error saying not to use download accelerators, send the full text of the error to me on the email address provided.
