Naruto Shippuden: Need some theories!!

All right, I haven't really been to a lot webistes and forums reagrding this, but so far, no one has convinced me as to their theory of who Tobi really is? My guess is he's a "left-over" incarnation of the Ten-Tails. So far, my theory is the only one that's sound. I've heard some say it's Obito Uchiha, Izuna Uchiha and some saying it's the original Sage of the Six Paths. It being Obito is the stupidest of the 3, it's a possibility, though slim, that it's izuna (slim because the real Madara obtained his "Eternal" Mangekyo Sharingan, and I feel Itachi's version of how he got it [by force and not of free will] is better, and I don't see the Sage turning against his teachings, or reversing his separation of the Tailed-Beasts, plausilbe. Tobi are none of these characters because fact, they all died a long time ago. Obito's body was completely crushed after that accident where he gave his other unharmed sharingan to Kakashi. Also why on earth would Obito do any of this at all? Makes no sense whatsoever. It's not Izuna cause he was confirmed dead a long time ago. Also Madara obtained his EMS from Izuna's eyes, Itachi never obtained the EMS. You're confusing when he killed Shisui to get the MS, but he never obtained the Eternal one. It's not the sage because he also died a long time ago, which began the whole world of x vs. y. You're right about him turning against his very own belief of how to achieve true peace, that wouldn't be the true sage. Also Tobi's even mentioned the sage from a different perspect, so why would he talk about the sage if he WAS the sage? I'm not 100% sure but likely Kurama would've recognized or sensed out Tobi's true identity if he was the sage since he was his one and only master before Naruto. Tobi also long ago used the Kyuubi to attack Konoha, why would the sage do that? This is just my opinion, however it's supported by a lot of things that are already confirmed. Tobi can be anyone, my personal guess are either two people: he's Kagami Uchiha (sort of random but possible) or someone created from Madara's cells or from his timeline. If Yamato was created from the 1st's cells, Tobi can be someone similar as well, even from the Sage himself. The half Rinnegan/Sharingan thing fits the Sage very perfectly since one of his sons would create the Uchiha clan! I bring up Kagami because he's the other unknown ninja who's been mentioned once or twice before who was in the same trio as the 2nd Hokage, Danzo, and Sarutobi. Although it's been said he also died a long time ago, it's possible it's him since he knew of Danzo pretty well. It has to be someone close to the Uchiha since Tobi pretty much knows all about their moves, extinguishing Amaterasu and Izanagi. Not many Uchiha in general know of that move since it's forbidden among them. However I'm sure anyone here reading can agree that Tobi ≠Madara. I don't understand why people still think this is the case when he's already been summoned by Edo Tensei (in the manga). For more Naurto reference please go here.

Damn, I didn't even know Uchiha Kagami existed, Lol. Well, like I said, the only theory that sounds good to me is mine, and that is: Tobi's just the Ten-Tails, SOMEHOW, trying to reunite itself. The main reason I believe this is because on more than one occasion he states his reason for, EVERYTHING, is an attempt to, "Make himself whole again" (non per diem). The knowledge he's so far shown to have puts him at an age easlily older than the founding of the Hidden Village system. Unless he somehow managed to attain over 100 years of knowledge by other various means. Obviously I appreciate the insight! ;D |

Well the Jubi is a combination of the 9 bijuu. It only exists when all 9 all together, also why would it take form of a person? We can't say how old Tobi is necessarily, however one can obtain thousands of years of knowledge via reading scrolls or obtaining the Rinnegan.

It's been revealed that Tobi is Uchiha Obito. Or at least, is using Obito's body and has his memories. But Kishimoto Masashi has also said in an interview that Tobi is Uchiha Izuna. I have a feeling that he (Kishimoto) will make Tobi = Obito = Izuna true in some way. |
