The year is 2015 and the setting is in a suburban city known as Cardiff, The special organization, known as Torchwood goes to investagate the alien and the unknown in the world today, Captain Jack Harkness, their Leader and the following along their friends, Gwen, Toshiko, Dr. Owen Harper, and a new recruit, Moka Dialga, an alien shapeshifter known as the Kymbra Chimera they are searching for everything unknown, no one in mankind must know what they do, they are TOCRCHWOOD (Drake if you have anything to add to the plot go ahead ) Players: Captian Jack Harkness (Drake) Gwen Cooper (DarkDevil) Moka Dialga (DarkDevil) Toshiko Owen Harper ( Drake temporarily ) Ianto (Drake) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` For New Players please message me if you want to join and with your character profile Format is of the following: Name Age Race Hair Eyes Height Weight Special Ability (if Any) Talent(s) Reason to Join Torchwood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Name Moka Dialga Age unknown appears to be human years 20 Race Kymbra Chimera (Alien Shapeshifter) Hair Indigo Black Eyes Amythest Height 5 foot 2 Weight 124 Special Ability (if Any) Able to shift into any person or anything at will Talent(s) Shapeshifting and being annoying Reason to Join Torchwood As Captain of the Kymbraian Army she lost her home planet due to the "Angels" (As seen in the Television Series Doctor Who) She fights to maintain her title as Captain other than being along side Jack Harkness, her sworn ally and also her biggest pain in the keester Name: Katniss Age: 18 Race: Human/Pernese Hair: Reddish Brown Eyes: Green Height: 5'0" Weight: 115 lbs Special Ability (if Any): slightly telepathic and empathic Talent(s): Can sing, dance, and fight Reason to Join Torchwood: Katniss is not part of torchwood but instead she is a visitor from a distant planet called Pern which was colonized by humans in the year of 2012. She is looking for help to deal with a problem that could potentially destroy her homeworld. Katniss has a partner that is a green dragon which was genetically engineered for the purpose of living on Pern (more will be explained in the roleplay)

((Because I wanted to start already:P)) A large gust of freezing cold wind blew across the UK...not something unusual for midwinter. However, what was unusual was the green dragon that had suddenly appeared in the sky falling towards the English countryside. Those witnessing this unusual event would see a young woman unconscious and limp in a saddle that had been secured on the creature with straps securing her to the saddle. The dragon creature's hide looked pale and grayish indicating possible injury or even health problems as it collided into the fence of a nearby farm before finally skidding to a stop among panicked cows and sheep. For the first responders of this scene, it would be clear that the girl was still alive but something was wrong. Her lips were blue from lack of oxygen. While she was not breathing she had a faint pulse. The creature she was strapped to was acting extremely protective of her, hissing at anyone that would come near though if people were brave enough to move towards the saddle they would find the creature would not attack them. The girl had a backpack on also secured tightly to her back by the riding straps. Secured to the saddle was a guitar case with a guitar in it. The girl wore a fur-lined leather-like jacket, boots, and gloves as well as a sturdy pair of denim-like pants and a cotton shirt. |

Jack would be in the Hub when a blip popped up on the screen he was monitoring. "TOSH, OWEN, GWEN!" He yelled as he grabbed his WWII style Captain's trench coat, and started running for the exit as he put it on. "We have Rift activity get ready. Moka follow on your bike."

Moka would nod as she would look at Harkness," You got it Jack!" She finally opened up after quite sometime, her arm not fully healed but enough for her to follow on bike but was still techinally on sick leave. Her black trench coat that draped around her like a silk glove as she got onto her bike. She would watch as she placed her sunglasses on, it had to of been like afternoon. Her hair blowing in the wind as she went up ahead to find the rift. Her kept her distance however as she kept her balance using only one hand currently to control her bike

No one had been brave enough to approach the dragon and rider so the pair were left alone. The dragon was the first to move, craning her neck to check on her rider. Noting the girl on her back was not breathing, the rider bit at the straps until they snapped, causing the girl to fall off the saddle. As the girl hit the ground, she gave a small gasp before coughing as oxygen flooded into her lungs. The dragon chuckles weakly before laying back down, curling up around the rider. The pair remained where they were needing the chance to recover from their wild journey |

A black SUV with blue lights on the side of the front and back window pulled up to the scene. Police had the area taped off already. Jack showed a wallet "TORCHWOOD!" His team followed in suit. As he stopped looking at the dragon. "Everyone, stay back." He said before approaching he dragon. "Hey there? How'd you get here lite fella? Come on, come the Uncle Jack." he was talking in a calm voice and approaching from just off the front of its right shoulder. Jack whispered into his ear piece. "Ianto?" "Yes, sir?" "We need a big cell." "Hiw big, sir?" "Ooh, big enough to hold a full side Dragon." Ianto wasn't sure if he here Jack right. "Dragon, sir?"

Moka glared at the dragon as she would feel trembling in her legs, she thought to herself 'What is going on, a dragon here in the 21 century this is impossible!' With that she looked at Jack being himself as she spoke," I don't think thats wise, she noticed a woman up upon the dragon as she spoke," We mean no harm why dont you come on down and talk and speak to us? Do you speak English?" Moka did have a gun at the ready just incase the woman tried and the dragon tried anything to harm Jack, highly protective she would watch Gwen do the same as her in a more protective and secure setting

The woman slowly pulled herself into a sitting position. She spoke slowly and clearly, her voice slightly hoarse...why was she hoarse? oh that's right she remembered screaming as she and her dragon had made the jump through space to reach this world. She looked to the woman talking to her before attempting to walk towards them. She was weak, however, and shaking from her ordeal. The dragon moved it's head slowly allowing the woman to hold on to the snout so that she could remain standing now "My name is Katniss...I come from the planet Pern....I mean no harm....but I need help." She smiles looking to the dragon now before looking back to the woman she was talking to "This is my partner....her name is Faith....she means no harm....she is worried....she says I almost died...she says I am hurt...she is right....I cannot stand without her help...." The dragon lets out a small grunt of agreement to the woman's statement while glaring at Jack. The woman chuckles slightly "Also....Faith would like to state that she is a girl....not a fella...and she does not like being talked to like a hatchling..." |

Jack stood straight up and walked over to Katniss, and extended his hand. "Hello Katniss. Captain Jack Harkness, Torchwood. This is Moka, who I told to stay back with the others." we're the ones who hand encounters with species from other worlds." "Sorry Faith." he sai look at the dragon.

Katniss smiles and returns Jack's handshake as Faith lets out a snort "Faith says your apology is accepted" she then lets go of Jack's hand, looking back at the dragon before rolling her eyes "Faith behave" she remarks before looking back to Moka and Gwen "it's nice to meet all of you" she wavers slightly on her feet grabbing back on to the dragon's snout for support. "and feel free to call me Kat....That is actually my nickname back home among the other riders" |

Jack would hold out his arms. "You'll have to come with us. Gwen, ride back with Moka. There is a cave near by, Faith can stay there until we can come back with a containment unit to transport her back to the Hub."

Katniss nods as she picks up her backpack and unlatches the guitar case from the broken saddle before finally taking the saddle off the dragon "there you go, Faith." The dragon lowers her head and growls quietly at Jack. Katniss shakes her head answering the dragon's growl "No Faith. He's right. You can't even fly right now." The dragon snorts causing Katniss to roll her eyes "Faith stay in the cave. And yes you can hunt. I don't need you dying of starvation on me afterall." Katniss chuckles "Don't worry my love...There is no reason why we shouldn't trust these people. Yes I know but they are the only ones that can help us right now. Faith now don't start that with me you know I won't shut you out!" She picks up the guitar case and limps over to Jack as the dragon now picks up the saddle and goes towards the cave. Katniss looks back over at Faith and calls out "silly dragon stop grumbling like a hatchling and you won't be treated like one" |

"The cave is at the base of the next hill and to the right. She should be fine." he touched his. Ear piece. "Ianto find anything yet." "there appears to be a container in Torchwood 1, but the place is abandoned." "Go pick it up and meet us back at The Hub." "right away, sir." "Alright, now that that's done." Jack picked up Katniss. "Let's get you to a safe place." They walked off the scene. Few people asks any questions about the woman or where she came from, out loud. After Jak put Kat in he SUV he jumped up front. "So what brings you to earth you said that this was your destination?"

Kat sits back, closing her eyes for a moment to gather her thoughts and of course shut out the pain in her leg. "I am here because as I said....the people of Pern need help. We have a strange organism that falls from the sky devouring anything organic in it's path. The dragons are able to burn it from the sky but....well those in charge of the planet want the thing destroyed before it can cause more harm than it has. The problem is we do not have the technology to research this organism so Faith and I were tasked to samples back to Earth and seek out anyone that could help us" |

(OOC: I'm gonna temporarily take Owen. If anyone wants him late they can just claim him) Owen looked into the rea rview mirror. "You. Fought samples?" He sounded surprised. "Owen, Stop the car!" Owen slammed on the breaks as Jack turned around in the passenger seat. "Where are they?!" He was looking right at Kat.

Kat opens up her backpack and carefully brings out a sealed metal box "they are in here. The box is locked up tight to make sure they don't get loose. They were still frozen solid when I left but I have a feeling they had a chance to defrost since then so we weren't sure if we would be dealing with live samples or not" |
