What do you think of the latest Anime season?

| I noticed that most Anime's released now are all serious and less comedy, I wonder why?? |

Just a sign of the season. I think fall typically has more comedy that run and shows that are planned to be more than 12 episodes typically start then. There's still comedies out there, though, just mixed in with action. Moretsu Pirates, Zero no Tsukaima F, Highschool DxD, Inu x Boku SS, etc. Love the season right now. Guilty Crown, which started last season, is still going and may have become my favorite anime all-time. Moretsu Pirates is a great anime, and Inu x Boku SS is simply AMAZING and my second favorite behind Guilty Crown this season. If you only want to count shows that started this season, Inu X Boku SS is tops! |

Ahaha, what are you talking about, guys? Chihayafuru and Bakuman--I laugh several times per episode of both of those anime. As far as Winter 2011/2012 anime are concerned, there's Inu x Boku SS, like Shuy mentioned, and there's also Ano Natsu de Matteru and Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. I do think there should be more comedy anime, but I think the animation producers are tired of that genre, since there's not much you can do with jokes nowadays.

Well, there will always be comedy anime. There hasn't been much to do with jokes for awhile now, but when an anime does it right it's still funny! Heck, shows that did it right in the 90's are still funny today – Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and Kenshin. Three old school Shounen anime, each with some GREAT comedy that's still funny today. There's always going to be comedy, harem, action, etc. You'll never have to fear there being no more comedy shows, just sometimes a season may not be the best. I'm still waiting on Nyan Koi 2. NEED IT. |

Well,, I guess for me the new anime that I know is Inu x Boku.. :)) they are sssoooo cute!!! especially Mitsukami >.< gosh he's soo cool and handsome at the same time!!! |

I really loved this seasons anime. I haven't gained so many favorite anime's this fast in.. ever! I really enjoy the seriousness, especially when the anime doesn't have a ton of fillers.  |

That's because GINTAMA ended abruptly. But there's SKET DANCE which is really funny And at some points , quite touching. If you're looking for comedy, I'd recommend SKET dance.

Gintama's gone. That pretty much just destroyed my life. Nichibros (Daily Lives of Highschool Boys) is done their first season as well... Well, there go my luls ;-; BUT there is Shirokuma Cafe, and I'm kind of really looking forward to seeing more of that. In other words, this season's kind of more on the bad side of mediocre. Could be better. |
