...don't get lost in your heart...

:e v e r y . p l a n e t . w e . r e a c h . i s . d e a d:

...don't get lost in Heaven....

-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Are We the Last Living Souls?"

It took years to find it. A place where the last remaining Humans could live in paradise forever. For hundreds of years we travelled from planet to planet in a haze, surveying distruction and aiding survivors, and after so long, we grew tired. We were the descendents of "Perfect Humans", those who were chosen when the ultimatum was given before the destruction of the Earth. Those who were allowed to survive. In these days we had developed medical technologies to their finest, allowing people to live for hundreds of years and thus banishing Death from our world. But by that token... maybe it was wrong. The other civilizations of the universe lashed out — Humans had too much power, and it frightened them into believing that we may begin a cosmic war between the worlds — and our entire planet was destroyed, a selection of ten surivors spared to continue the race. Five men and five women. In their time, they spawned seven offspring — our parents — and in time, we came along. Ten of us. Not all at once, but slowly over a period of eight years. In the time that it took for us to mature, there was an attack on us by an anti-Human warship in which we were sent off on our own to save our lives as the future of the Human race; we left our parents behind without knowledge of whether or not they made it through alright. Our objective was kept in mind as we left — find a planet, empty, that can sustain and provide for Human existence. We were all so young, with only basic knowledge in those things we would need to survive on our own should we find such a place — medical, agriculture, physics and chemistry, engineering, construction, cooking and cleaning, entertainment. We had only the things that were packed on our ship to survive.

For three years we searched, but every planet we reached was dead or dying. We had entered a part of the galaxy that hadn't been touched in at least a millenium, and it showed. War-torn civilizations once so proud and dignified were splayed out around us, overrun by strange animals we'd never heard of before, devestated by centuries of neglect. The biggest worry for us was where the inhabitants had gone.... If it wouldn't happen to us when we found somewhere to settle.... Worry dispersed when we found it. As unofficially appointed group leader, I took it upon myself to call it Eden, for two purposes: to remember my younger sister who would have been the eleventh member had she not been caught in the crossfire on the attack of our ship three years prior, and also after the biblical garden because this world was surely a creation of heavenly beings. Mild weather, fertile grounds, rich animal and plant life, vast seas and open plains.... And in the middle of it all... a city with silver spires that touched the blue, blue sky. Inhabited by people... like us. Other Humans? No. We discovered all too soon that they were only holographic images.... Not so much holographic.... They were more like projections that the planet itself put forth. It appeared that they were solid as we were, and thought for themselves, expressed emotion, but.... They weren't real. When we wished them away, they disappeared. When we called them near with our hearts, there they were. We could create them, mould them, teach them, destroy them.... And there's a scary thought. Humans... we seem to get excited when we know we have the power to create and destroy. The planet of Eden, it seemed, was tuned to our innermost desires, giving us exactly the power we wanted most, and that was a dangerous thing in and of itself.

  • No playing other peoples' characters without their permission.
  • Please post in novel-style format. At least one good paragraph per post. NO one-lining.
  • Love is Allowed.
  • All characters must be seventeen to twenty-five years of age.
  • Some of the characters will have to be younger siblings to other characters. If you would like your character to have a sibling, please inform me and I'll put it in the Requests section for other people to see.
  • Projections, because they'll be a very difficult role to play because they only interact with Humans, and only exist when the Humans want them to, then the main cast can feel free to make them up as they go along, as NPCs. Please PM me a picture and a few details about the Projection! Just a note: Eden can't replicate anything it hasn't before seen. Some of the Projections probably look the same, act the same, and have some difficulty with speech. Not that they haven't seen Humans before, or heard the English language, but that's a surprise for later. All Projections may be controlled by anyone, unless otherwise specified, or special permission is given.
  • As far as materializing desires go, y'all can take care of the small things, but I'll take care of the larger things. PM me when you have something specific to request~

~ Eden Bailey [Younger Sister, 8/Deceased]

    [Personality]
Aaris isn't considered the unofficial leader for nothing. He's strong-hearted and kind, very thoughtful, but always voices his opinions. He's a great director and organizer, he tries to be fair to everyone, makes decisions with everyone's best interest in mind, and is often turned to for solutions to problems no matter what they are. He's modest and denies that he's anything better than anyone else, and really he isn't. He's just another Human, special only because he's one of the few remaining. At the same time, he realizes that he's made out as a stronger character to the others and hides his pain while he tries to council the others on theirs. No, Aaris is far from perfect in this respect. He can't allow himself to cry and his self-esteem is greatly damaged by this; he thinks little of himself because he knows he's not the person he thinks he should be, and it doesn't occur to him that there's a possibility that he could grow into that person. In this respect he's impatient, can't wait for things to just work out the way he wants them to, and as pleasant as he is it's a fault that can make him a little testy. It takes a lot of picking to get him to snap, but it hardly matters because it's not like he's capable of unleashing some great wrath. Aaris is gentle and nonviolent, shier when it comes down to one-on-one interaction than one would think.

    [Likes/Dislikes]
His crewmates, bananas, oatmeal cookies, the view from his window, the feeling of rain on his skin | Arguments, the idea that he's not really the person everyone thinks he is, uncomfortable chairs, cold rooms

    ~ Ltn. Sabine Salna-Holmwood [Mother/Presumed Dead]
    ~ [Older brother/sister]

    [Personality]
Hot-headed, air-headed, and energetic, Ileana is capable of random outbursts of any magnitude of emotion at any given time. Most of the time she likes to kick back and just be lazy, but when that gets boring she likes to fight things and burst out in random rants about whatever happens to be on her mind at the time. Her father was a master of martial arts and he spent a lot of his off time teaching his daughter what he knew to pass it on to others later. Ileana is the last person you want to be around if you're aiming for stealth as she screams at just about anything that scares her, and loudly. There is no volume control — she was born with a faulty mute button, and her volume just so happened to get stuck at the top of its scale. She knows how to quiet down, and when you yell back at her she usually shuts up, but for the most part the concept of indoor voices is lost on her. Of course... if silence can be applied to perform a sneak attack on the other crew members... that's a completely different situation altogether.

    [Likes/Dislikes]
Sparring, scaring people, sweets, walking on her hands | Spiders, snakes, work, chores, the feeling she gets when all the blood rushes to her head after walking on her hands for too long

    [Talents]

Reserving a spot for a female character, I'll edit this post with the profile later. I'd also be willing to have my character be the past girlfriend of Aaris.

    [Name]
    Neve Tanya Garnet

[Nickname: Neenee by people close to her.]
    [Age: 19]
    [Gender: Female]
    [Orientation: Heterosexual]
[Love Interest: To be edited; none at the moment]
[Theme: Those women longed for the touch of others' lips, and thus invited their kisses by Shiro Sagisu]

    [Family]
    - Father (Presumeably Dead)

    [Personality]
Cool, calm, and collected, Neve rarely shows her emotions to others. However, this doesn't mean that she doesn't have them. She just prefers to keep them to herself, as she does with many other things. The only sure way of knowing how she feels on a certain subject is when she speaks up, which happens fairly often since she isn't afraid to voice her opinion. Neve is also a bit of a pessimist, always thinking of the worst outcome in a situation and rarely hopeful of a good outcome. Because of this pessimistic attitude, she is quick to observe the faults not only in others, but herself as well, which both helps (By making it easier for her to understand and relate to someone else) and hurts (By lowering her own confidence and her confidence of the world they live in).

    [Likes/Dislikes]
Likes: Architecture, reading, cold drinks, clothes, listening to music.
Dislikes: Blood, hospitals, doctors, almost anything medical related, people annoying her.

    [Talents]
Very skilled with architecture and designing things, a fast runner, playing the violin.

    [Weapons (if applicable)]
    None

    [Other]
    - Her mother died during childbirth, which is also the reason why Neve does not have any siblings. Neve's father later explained to her that her middle name, Tanya, is the same as her mother's first name, in memory of her.
    - 5 Feet 3 Inches (160 cm) tall.

In reality, she's very sadistic, honest and witty. She's very distant and aloof. She's very deceptive but loyal. She tends to lock herself in her room; consuming books. This explains her intelligence Regan is also not socially adept of people. She uses the holographic for her very personal use and abuses it as well. Can she be considered to be psychologically insane? Perhaps.

Is it okay that I request a fraternal twin for my incoming character? If not, I might just fill in for Ileana's older brother.

Reserving a spot for a male character. Accepted Cheh's request.

    Togusa Kirishima [Father/Presumed Dead]
    Hanako Kochiya [Mother/Presumed Dead]
    Sanae Kirishima [(Fraternal Twin) Sibling/Alive]

    [Personality]

Kazuya is the hero guy that you normally found on a movie. He will try his best to solve whatever problems his friends have, even if it will make him busy or in trouble. Kazuya is unlike his sugary twin, being as a realist and a practical person. It is not that Kazuya does not believe in miracle, just only not as much as his sister. Compassionate to almost everyone, unless you get on to his nerves, or doing anything rash.

    [Likes/Dislikes]

Helping Aaris and the others, winds blowing on him, slacking on a couch, riding a bicycle, touring around in a city. | Trouble, his sister or Ileana fooling around, being as a subject of a demeaning joke, morning sun.

    [Talents]
Perceptive to the environment, sensitive to others, doing household chores.

    [Weapons (if applicable)]
Unarmed, and have some experience with firearms.

    [Other]
Unlike other people respecting Sanae due to her position, Kazuya was strict with her, as she occasionally does something impulsively. He learned some hand to hand combat and firearms training from Ileana's father when he once worked as a security guard at the ark ship.

She's what can we called helpless kind of sister of Kazuya when it's on things like other than spiritual things and also cooking. Easy to get hurt because of her clumsiness.

[The Theme of Mystogan - Yasuharu Takanashi/"It's your words that gave me courage. They became my light that would guide me towards the right path again."]

    [Family (if applicable)]
~ Cpt. Michael Holmwood [Father/Presumed Dead]
    ~ Ltn. Sabine Salna-Holmwood [Mother/Presumed Dead]
    ~Ileana Lacie Salna-Holmwood [Younger Sister, 17/Alive]

    [Personality]
Jellal is a reclusive member of the crew. He doesn't want people to see his face so he hides his identity, especially from Ileana because his face would remind her of their father. Originally, he was a very kind boy, deeply caring for his family. He was always cheerful and optimistic even in times of strife. However, the incident that caused their parents to be presumed dead forcefully matured him. He hides his face out of shame that he failed to help everyone's parents as he was the oldest of the 10 children. In all reality he should be the official leader of the children seeing as he is the oldest amongst them.

However, due to the shame he feels he chooses not to and instead spends his time prowling in the agriculture section of the ship and tending to the specimens there. As the younger children grew up, the fact that he does not use his name much made sure most of them do not even know his real name. Instead, he has taken the identity of the mysterious Mystogan. He seems to be very knowledgeable about the large number of scientific disciplines as he instructed the younger members to do specific tasks.

Many of the crew members question who he really is as he is too mysterious. Ileana at one point stated that he is a very kind person. Erza states that Mystogan doesn't talk much. Despite his reclusiveness, Jellal is extremely loyal to them and is willing to go to great lengths to protect all of them. He gets along with Erza the best as she was the second oldest after him and can understand his feelings.

After arriving on Eden, Jellal is EXTREMELY unnerved by the ability of the planet to turn dreams into reality. Despite the joy others felt about the planet, he feels uneasy and is constantly attempting to research the planet to find out the source of this ability. He can only hope that the planet does not come at a hefty price...

    [Likes/Dislikes]
Cold Drinks, Grilled Chicken, Sparring, Being left either alone or with Erza, Listening to his favorite types of music/ Hot Drinks, Being disturbed when in the middle of something, being sick, letting people see his face, anyone harming Ileana or Erza on his watch.

[Expert of many scientific specializations, Expert Hand to Hand Combatant, Combat experience against aliens.]

[Staves of Solomon - The staves on his back are one of the highest scientific achievements of human technology. He has five of them with each one having a special ability. By using them in combination with each other, he can produce incredible effects that seem almost like magic. An Example would be Skyscraper, an ability that creates an illusion used to break down the mind of an enemy or distract them long enough to prepare another attack.]

[Only Erza and Ileana knows what he looks like under his mask. Yes, his face will be revealed eventually.]

    []

    [Erza Scarlet]

    [None]
[25 (3 Months Younger Than Jellal)]
    [Female]

    [Jellal Holmwood]
[The Theme of Erza - Yasuharu Takanashi/"All I need is the power to be able to protect my comrades. So long as I can have the strength to do that, I don't care if I'm weaker than everyone in the world."]

    [Family (if applicable)]
    ~ Parents/Presumed Dead]
~Damien Scarlet [Younger Brother, 19/Presumed Dead]

    [Personality]
Erza is a very strict person, often criticizing the bad behavior and habits of the other crew members, causing most of them to apologize, fearing that they might invoke her wrath. She is also very impatient, disliking people who don't answer her questions quickly enough. Ileana says that she's "cool and beautiful, warm and full of passion". Jellal said she is "full of kindness, brightness and warmth".

Erza described herself as someone who was always crying, since she wasn't able to protect those dear to her. An example was during the attack by the anti-human forces and she failed to help her parents and younger brother. Despite her reserved personality and mostly dressing in her conservative clothes, Erza has shown to have very little modesty or inhibitions. Many of her armors are skimpy, revealing and feminine, and when out of armor she has an affinity for sexy and revealing clothing.

She is one of the few people to understand Jellal and get along with him. As such she has taken up the role of a mother or older sister to Ileana. As the years passed, Erza became more and more strict until she could be called the crew's disciplinarian. She took responsibility for breaking up fights between any of them.

Like Jellal, she is extremely suspicious of 'Eden'. In her eyes, not such great things cam come without a great sacrifice.

    [Likes/Dislikes]
Jellal, Strawberry cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Racy novels, Good Food, Cooking/ People fighting around her, Jellal wearing his Mystogan mask, People bad mouthing Jellal.

[Master Swordsmanship Specialist, Immense Durability, Master Engineer]

[Variable Armours - Erza posses a large amount of armors in her room that are modified for specific uses. Some use fire attacks, some increases her strength greatly, etc. She uses the right armor for the right situation and will quickly retreat to her room to switch armors when necessary.]

[During the attack on their parent;s ship, Erza lost her right eye. Jellal later constructed an artificial eye for her using notes from the former chief medical officer. Due to the eye's artificial nature Erza cant cry out of it and it is unaffected by illusions]

    [Name]
    Vincent Lawliet

[Nickname: Vince or whatever that doesn’t offend him.]
    [Age: 17]
    [Gender: Male]
    [Orientation: Heterosexual]
    [Love Interest: He doesn’t know]

[Theme: I am L by Eshmasesh]

    [Family]
    -none at the moment

    [Personality]

Although Vincent may be quiet, this definitely does not mean he is shy. He shows no interest for things he doesn’t like (i.e. academic studies). Most of the time he is lazy and seeks to find something that would interest him, but when he is active and focused, his hidden consciousness allows him to create miracles (i.e. playing baseball and accidently hitting the ball out of the stadium). Vincent is direct and tends to make himself clear, he is extremely patient and honest, but most of all, he isn’t affected by taunts and insults. He simply brushes them off because he doesn’t care about them. Vincent is gentle and unselfish with others and doesn’t use violence unless he absolutely needs to.

    [Likes/Dislikes]

Art, music, food, peaceful moments (i.e. laying on grassfield watching clouds on a sunny day), combat (sometimes), designing things || extremely spicy food, spiders, creepy looking objects, headaches, sore-throats, getting hurt, getting hit on by guys.

    [Talents]
Athletic, art, cooking, sleeping through almost any situation, and being unaffected by the past.

[[Wow... I didn't expect such a great turnout.... We only have one space left! I love all the characters, guys~ Neve definitely seems like a girl that Aaris would have fallen for because he's so damn nice. Miguel has been created with your usual epicness, Landon. Emiya... Kazuya... he's an Ileana target (xD). Sanae is the cutests damn thing ever~ Jellal intrigues me, and Erza is damn sexy~ <3 Vincent is in trouble because he's worse than an Ileana target — he's Ileana bait~ <333]]

Hey,is this RP still open for casting somehow? ;P

Aww,you have been really nice,Kyou <3 This is actually my first time joining one of your RP,so I might do quite a lot of mistakes here. And hey,how did ya guys center them anyway?I'm kinda lost XP Thanks to frozen-san,I managed to center them somehow. Thanks, bud!

    [Appearance]

    [Aban "Yamato" Varentino]

    [Human Battleship]
    [20]
    [Male]
[Straight, though from his constant bear hugging he did to his buddies(both male and female respectively),one may suggest he's a bi XP]
[Regan Ririchiyo Taylor, though his kindness towards girls often gets into the way, plus they quarreled quite a bit.Still, that didn't stop them from being together.]
    [Theme Song:]
    A Warrior's Destiny
    Battle Theme

["A true warrior's destiny is made, and never determined by fate. You can make and change them!"]

    [Family (if applicable)]
    ~Snake Varentino(Adoptive father/Alive but missing)

    [Personality]
Extremely optimistic to the end, even at the point of giving up.An very adventurous person, going so far to exploring the places no one dared to,and eats foods he never seen before.

To his friends,he's quite a lot like their big brother(or rather,a father figure),and were willing to help them out anytime soon(even to the point of giving them a harsh training if they ever asked him to).

Like his father,he's a Akiba Kei,and loves guns and military stuffs(even battleships).

    [Likes/Dislikes]
He loves and hates many things he came across with.He WILL comment on how he came to love/hate them(unless he said "just").

    Among things he loves

    Among things he hates

    [Talents]
Military and firearms skills learned from his father,as well "The Way of the Warrior"(which also includes,"The True Warrior's Destiny",made by Snake himself, succeeding Hiryu's(Snake's father, and Aban's grandfather) teachings).A party maker, and are really good at it(he held a cosplay event once in the ship before).Cooks quite well, though being a journeyman himself,he felt that he has a long way to go;Japanese food was his specialty(hence his love for sushis and sashimis, though a dining experience with his father's fugu sashimi almost had him killed, causing him to become cautious whenever he goes for one.Anywhere he goes to,he'll definitely bring his cooking tools along).

    [Weapons (if applicable)]
Patriot Battleship(A heavily modified CM901 assault rifle with various attachments;noticeable equipment includes M203 grenade launcher,a large 100-rounds C-Mag and ACOG-Holographic combo scope(a.k.a the Hybrid Sight;the ACOG scope is flipped down when not in use,or when going up close and personal.Although very heavy,Aban seems to be able to carry "her" most of the time. The battle rifle succeeded the former PBC(Patriot Battlecruiser) rifle, which used the M4A1 rifle as the base model,by having the ability to refit into any sort of ammo calibers, ranging from 5.56mm to 7.62mm rounds. In keeping the true warrior's way, despite the better grenade launcher like M320,Aban sticks to the good o' M203,and somehow modded it to swing towards either side(like the SCAR's EGLM),allowing it to load a longer 40x46mm rounds)
    The PBB
    The ACOG-Holo combo scope/Hybrid Sight
Masamune katana(Inherited from his father, though rarely used)

    [Other]
He looks a lot like Snake's younger form of sort, though he was actually adopted however.

Every Planet We Reach is Dead
    Chapter One: O Green World

    :a a r i s:
{Plains of Eden - Outside the Ship
    Morning
    }

Our first touchdown I remember quite well as being rather disturbing. Even with our seatbelts on, we were jostled around roughly as the ship skipped across the ground, using the friction and the air brakes to come to an eventual stop; it's certainly easy enough to say you've studied landing in the handbook, but to actually put those theories into practise is an entirely different story. It took us a moment to find our legs, but it wouldn't stop us for long. We were just so excited to find a planet that could support human life and we were all eager to know what it would be like to breathe fresh air, feel the wind for the first time, see the clouds in the blue sky and feel the grass underneath our feet. I wasted no time tapping in the security code to open the doors, allowing a burst of fresh, cool air into the ship to refresh us all. It's difficult to say exactly what it smelled like; the only scents I knew where my Mom's fabric softener and the faint scent of leather that the ship always seems to carry besides the meals we had recently had to cut back to twice a day instead of three times to ration food.

I didn't spend much time in our makeshift greenhouse at all, so all this plant life was brand new to me and I was honestly overwhelmed. Nothing could have fully prepared anyone for what we would experience when we stepped out onto the springy turf, into the bright morning with the sun rising in the east just like our grandparents had once told us it had on Earth. I allowed the others to step out ahead of me and closed up after them, silently revelling in the beauty of this new world. So bright and wide open with no lifeforms detectable from above. It was all ours. And what an abstract thought that was....

I scanned the horizon first and foremost. Not too far away there was a city, tall and shining silver, spires scraping the sky with their willowy fingers. This suggested inhabitants before us, like the other planets we'd scanned from above, but those were all clearly uninhabitable.... This new planet.... It was clean, the temperature was mild, but the wind was crisp and for the first time I shivered because I was cold. The concept made me grin and I stepped out a little further from the ship, turning to see what lay beyond it on the other side — nothing but rolling green hills.

"Isn't it... beautiful?" I breathed, facing the crew with a new brightness in my features. "I think... it's perfect. How about we call it Eden, like the garden in the Bible? I mean, this is an absolute paradise!"

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    :i l e a n a:
{Plains of Eden - Outside the Ship
    Morning
    }

Like always, I was the first one out. As soon as Aaris opened the door, I dashed out without thinking and found myself blinded by the intensity of the natural light — never before had it occured to me how dark our little ship actually was. Once my eyes had adjusted, I took a quick half-second to examine my surroundings, so overwhelmed that I couldn't keep myself from gaping. "Hey everyone! You've gotta see this! It's so... big! Jelli-chan, Erza, looooook; it's huge!" As if to empasize this point, I spread my arms out wide and began to spin in circles, then proceding to attempt a few cartwheels when I felt I was dizzy enough.

    "Isn't it... beautiful?"

I turned to look at Aaris, watching the new world with love in his eyes. He looked like a new mother, ready to cradle his child — this planet — close and call it his baby, even naming it after his younger sister. I wanted to disagree. If anything, it should have been named after the mothership, the Destiny, where all our family could be remembered.... Even if Eden was the most adorable minion of mine... I mean.... I didn't think anyone else would say anything, so I kept quiet for once, choosing instead to bound over to my brother and grab onto his arm. "This is gonna be so awesome, don't you think? It's just like what Mama and Daddy would have wanted." I stared around in wonder, letting my eyes rest on Jellal's covered face with my smile softening. He'd really been through a lot... as much as everyone else had been and then some. I knew so. But... I mean, I also knew very well that he prefered to be called Mystogen, but what was going to stop me from calling him by that old nickname I'd used before the Anti-Human Warship had attacked? Other than Erza, I mean.... Pfft. Anti-Human Warship.... Who knew that there'd even be such a thing with so few humans remaining.

Guess some races just really hate us.

[[Alright everyone. First posts should be something to this effect. You'll have some time for social interaction, getting the feel of your characters and everyone elses' before I really start moving things.]]

@Frozen - Holy Dang! Is that really a dude? From what game?
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[Jellal Holmwood & Erza Scarlet][Plains of Eden - Outside the Ship][Morning]

As the members of the crew stepped out, Jellal chose to come out last with Erza joining him. As they took in everyone's reactions to the planet, Jellal was unhinged. Erza leaned in close to him and whispered,

Erza: "Do you feet it too?"

    Jellal: "...Yes. It's just not..."

Erza: "Right? I know what you mean. Something this good just not comes without a great sacrifice."

The two of them stepped out as a breeze blew moving Jellal's cape a bit. Around them the various crew members seemed ecstatic about the planet. Ahead of them they could see spires in the distance reaching the sky. Jellal vowed to go and investigate them as son as he could.

"Isn't it... beautiful? I think... it's perfect. How about we call it Eden, like the garden in the Bible? I mean, this is an absolute paradise!" exclaimed Aaris.

Jellal shook his head slightly while next to him Erza hid her displeasure as well.

'Well this lot is optimistic. But I don't like this one bit. My eye is having trouble as well. It's like shifting visions. I better have Jellal and Miguel take a look at it later just to be sure.' thought Erza to herself.

Nearby, Jellal's sister, Ileana was spinning around and attempting cartwheels while shouting. "Hey everyone! You've gotta see this! It's so... big! Jelli-chan, Erza, looooook; it's huge!"

The hyperactive little firework then sprung over to Jellal and grabbed his arm while babbling happily. Erza gave a soft smile and the sight and through no one could see it, Jellal was smiling at his sister as well. "This is gonna be so awesome, don't you think? It's just like what Mama and Daddy would have wanted."

Jellal lifted his hand and pulled her in for a hug. Through she was too young to remember and too young to understand it, worlds like that still hurt him a bit. Jellal missed their parents dearly and until now he still felt sadness when they were mentioned.

'That's why he hides his face. He is ashamed because he was oldest and he could not save them. Oh Jellal...why do you hurt yourself like this...I was there too you know...you fought so bravely...so hard. The only reason were are standing here is because of you. You who fought and cut a path through those aliens to get us all too safety. You, who nearly died to get us all away from the anti-humanity warship. You, who taught us all that you knew...You think to hide yourself in shame but you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed off...I wish...that I could heal you...' mused Erza to herself

While Erza was musing to herself Jellal spoke softly to his sister, his last kin of blood remaining. "Yes, they would have loved it here."

Erza came over and put her hand on Ileana's head and ruffled her hair a bit. The younger girl always reminded her of a fluffy little kitten. "Your brother is as shy as ever eh, Ileana? Mystogan is often a man of few worlds however, his usual habit of dressing heavily is lucky this time. It's a bit chilly here. But I have to admit, this place is...interesting."

'"Disconcerting" not "interesting" is the word I would use, Erza.' thought Jellal to himself.

    [Kazuya Kirishima]
[Plains of Eden - Outside the Ship] | [Morning]

As the ship safely landed on the planet's surface, Aaris quickly keyed in the security code for the blast door. Rays of sunlight shone through the opened door and into the passenger compartments. Ileana was the first one to dash outside, before following the others. Kazuya, slowly got up from his seat, moved into the greenish plains, while shielding his eyes from the sunlight as he was used to the ship's darkness.

He takes a deep breath. It was oxygen no doubt, with a hint of grassy smell. Kazuya gently taps on the ground, taking a quick feel of the gravel and rock. The heat and glare from the sunlight. Gusts of wind blew his hair and face. He closed his eyes and smiled.

    "Ah... home sweet home..."

Then he began to look around. The horizon was free from any hazes or smokes. And with that, Kazuya was able to see a city, with numerous silver spires. There might be other inhabitants, but then again, he has no idea.

"Isn't it... beautiful? I think... it's perfect. How about we call it Eden, like the garden in the Bible? I mean, this is an absolute paradise!" Aaris named the planet in joy.

And there is Ileana, cartwheeling around the plains, before saying how big the place is, with gestures from her small arms, before he cling to Jellal, or commonly known as Mystogan. Kazuya smiled again, at the cheery looks of his fellow crew members.

"Well, here it is. Your dream of starting a shrine." Kazuya said, to his sister Sanae.

"I'm glad that the spacefaring era was over..." He thought to himself, with his hands inside his windbreaker's pockets, looking back to the city.

@Roxas I tend not to copy characters from any video game, as to whether or not he's a boy or girl, you can find out from the profile.

@Snake to center a post you use the code below:

[Vincent Lawliet][Plains of Eden - Outside the Ship] | [Morning]

Space is dull, the darkness showed no mercy on life, as did it the old Earth's dying sun. Moments ago, I was a spaceman, born in space and fated to die within space, had I not found my hope. This planet is my escape, my heaven. I couldn't resist my temptation to step into the new world. Even though I did feel insecure, the gentle nature of the landscape dissipated my resistance of the unknown. I wanted to see our new home; I wanted to experience the feeling of life, stepping onto the ground bound by gravity. The mild breeze felt as soon as I stepped out is refreshing, it's a different feeling from a fan or air conditioner - it was unique. What amplified this experience was the sunlight, which reached out to us. We could feel the rays of light that gave life to the environment around us. When I looked at the sky, the sun was too bright for me to look directly at, the color of the blue sky is original, a work of art from the sunlight interacting with the atmosphere. This is the first time I felt the nature of a planet. The feeling of life makes me feel human.

"Hey everyone! You've gotta see this! It's so... big!" said ileana, whom as usual was overly hyperactive. She's even spinning around and doing cartwheels like a excited puppy. Except not even pooch can be as active as her.

"Isn't it... beautiful?" said Aaris, "I think... it's perfect. How about we call it Eden, like the garden in the Bible? I mean, this is an absolute paradise!" Before I even thought about that idea deeply I said "That's a great idea."

If there is an eden, there will be somebody pulling the strings, watching, but who is the God?

I can still use the computers at school to get on, and I'll be able to post but it will be very infrequent. I'm so sorry, this was such a sudden thing. BUT, we're going to make this work. I'd like to appoint a co-GM with whom I can share the plotline, who can use my characters when they need to be used on the odd chance that I'm unable to do it myself, and who can direct the story while I'm away. Any volenteers?]]

[Neve Garnet - Plains of Eden - Morning]

Neve groaned in annoyance as their ship made a rough landing onto the bright, green planet. Oh sure, she was happy about finding somewhere to live on, but the landing made her slightly seasick, or rather, spacesick. As the others rushed ahead to the new planet to see what it was like, Neve stayed back for a moment to pull herself together. Once she had done so, she stood up, and taking a bag with her just in case of some sort of emergency situation, she headed out onto the new planet as well. Not like some clothes and books would help her in an emergency anyway.

The first thing that struck Neve as she stepped out onto the new planet was the breeze, cool and fresh as it blew across the plains. Neve thought that it was a grand breeze, and she was glad to have her first moment on this new planet marked by such a majestic breeze. She then broke into a sprint and ran out, going out a bit further than where the others already stood. As she ran, she heard Aaris talking about the planet, and what to name it.

"Isn't it... beautiful?" Aaris asked, "I think... it's perfect. How about we call it Eden, like the garden in the Bible? I mean, this is an absolute paradise!"

Neve turned back to them as she ran ahead, looking towards the city on the horizon.

"Sure," Neve said coolly, "Eden is fine by me."

She continued to run until she was out of earshot from the group, yet not out of eyesight, and stood examining the city that jutted out of the ground and reached up into the sky. The tallest towers especially stood out, and their spires loomed over Neve and the others in a way that she thought was intimidating. Why is a city on a planet like this? Neve thought, I thought it was uninhabited, but this... This couldn't have been done by some force of nature, that's for sure.

Neve turned back and watched the others, waiting to see if they were interested in investigating this city on Eden as well.

OOC@Snake: It seems like you've given your character the same last name as mine. I'm not sure if you read other people's profiles, but it would be kind of weird to have two people with no relation to have the same last name in this rp, right? I know that you use Valentine for practically, every single character you make, but change is good every once in a while, right? And by that, I ask if it would be too much trouble if you could have your character have a different last name other than Valentine?

[Geoffrey Valentine - Plains of Eden - Outside the Ship - Morning]

The touchdown could have gone a lot smoother. Geoffrey was jostled around in his seat a bit much for his comfort; so much, that he even questioned the integrity of their metal prison that sent them hurdling toward a planet. Once the ship hit the surface, Geoffrey held on to his seat, not wanting to be thrown around too badly, and after a few skips over the ground, the ship eventually slid to a halt, and he released his grip on his seat. Around him, he heard the hushed excitement of all the other passengers, none of whom Geoffrey really bonded to. Like them, he was excited too, but not so much to where he could outwardly show it. However, this was their new home, his new home, the only place they found that could suit human life. That is, the only planet that was alive. As the doors to the ship opened, a cold air rushed in to the ship, sending a chill down Geoffrey's spine. He got an ominous feeling from that breeze, an omen that he didn't like.

Geoffrey was one of the last passenger's out of the ship, and instantly, he was blinded. He flung an arm over his eyes to shield them from the bright light. At that moment, he smelled the fresh air, felt the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze around him--this was home. Geoffrey slowly dropped his arm and took his surroundings. He relaxed his stance, slipping his hands in his pockets as he looked all around him. The mountains, the strange, crystal spires, the fields of grass. The other passengers cheered and celebrated with each other, but Geoffrey, he just stood there, taking it all in. Eventually, a small smile crept upon his face. It was a long trip, filled with trials and tribulations, senseless arguments, and some clashes with the crew, but here he was, standing on solid ground.

All the others ere socializing with each other, but Geoffrey didn't know any of them well enough to actually have a full length conversation. Despite all the times he voiced his opinion, and all the debates he had gotten in, most of these people were like strangers to him. The man in the masked, who demanded everyone called Mystogan, was a special case. He acted like he committed such sin that it would be disgraceful to show his face. Like anyone cared. Everyone had their sins and secrets, but they didn't go around forcefully telling people to avoid it by acknowledging it; it just didn't make any sense.

Aaris began to ask the others what they thought about naming their new home "Eden," and Geoffrey didn't really care what it was called; he'd be fine with "home," even--plain and simple. He returned his attention to the mountains which held spires in them and noticed Neve, a little ways away from the group, regarding the strange monuments. He walked over by the girl, his hands still in his pocket, and his tie flapping in the wind. He stopped when he was right next to her.

"So you're interested in those strange spires too?" Geoffrey asked, looking up at them. "Their existence doesn't make sense. This planet is completely devoid of life, who, or what, could have built those?"
