| I'll have to go with gundam. its not how they "explain" stuff rather it is their attention to detail on some minor things that makes their physics believable. |

It is my personal belief that the circles in FMA are based on the angelic circles found in the religious book "the key of solomon the king", which im not getting into here.

| Please Save My Earth was pretty whacky, and had basically 2 seperate worlds going on at once, and you never knew which was the real one! Otherwise, I'll have to agree with Fullmetal Alchemist (except that other world confused me...) I also agree with Gundam. |

ALCHEMY IS NOT SCIENCE! Alchemy is the study of changing the properties of matter. Matter is any collection of atoms. Atoms do not change under earthly circumstances. The anime Full Metal Alchemist is PURLY fantasy and has NOTHING to do with actual science. *vomit* I found that Grave of the Fireflies had a very believable plot :D

I'd have to say Gundam as well... But that may also depend slightly on what series you are referring to... (Wing, Seed, X, Turn A, Origin etc...) (With me it would have to be Wing) But I can't help but ask; what about Ghost in the Shell? Admitedly, I don't get how a tachikoma can cling onto the ceiling like that, but some of the things in it are actually being developed (kinda). And if you're going by the way they explain it in the anime, rather than reality, then I'd have to say that Ghost in the Shell is quite believable...

Well, I think that fullmetal alchemist does,because drawing those transmutation circles and then you also have to study a lot!

Me? I have to say Gundam too. But not the recent ones (like SEED, X, G, or Wing) I haven't seen Victory yet but I doubt its very real ( at least in our scientific point of view) It would be the original 70's series. Ghost in the shell is a very good one. Lets see, Full Metal Alchemist; Alchemy is an ocult study of chemicals in nature, but it has a philosophy that goes deep into human psychy. Cowboy Bebop is believable too. I want to fly in Spike's red jet some day ;D |

wow, first off the admin honors me by vomiting on my forum! at the risk of getting the crap banned out of me...i bow to my sensei. but if his most humble honor would recal, i stated that that would it make sence "in the world that the anime takes place" if you want ACTUAL science, got to the other side of the gate! so yes, im aware that Fullmetal Alchemist is prurly fiction, but the fact that it makes sence in the fictional world is a sign of good writing! just voicing my oppinion! please dont ban me...your guys are like my only friends :( |

FMA makes it sound romantic and true, but really it's all superstition. The circle is suppose to be a catalyst in alchemic change. What's so superstitious about that is each corner of the shape inside represents a element. And that just makes it more superstitious nonsense because the basic elements are suppose to be fire, water, air, and earth. Then, the secondary elements made by the first. EX. Fire and water make the element gas. EX2. Water and air makes ice. As we all know, there are no such elements as ice. I'd rather take Grave of the Fireflies, too. |
