Happy 2012! What's your New Year's resolution?

Gendounian ã®çš†ã•ã‚“ã€æ˜Žã‘ã¾ã—ã¦ãŠã‚ã§ã¨ã†~~ (^｡^)ｵﾒﾃﾞﾄ--- So it's already 2012, or going to be 2012 in a few hours depending on your time zone. I've been doing some reflecting today and decided to make a few resolutions for the new year, and gonna keep it this time. So the big question of the day is, what is going to be your New Year's resolution? Learn to drive? Graduate from college? Play a new sport? Reinventing the wheel? I'm sure most of us made some for 2011 as well and either we achieve them or not is what you only know. Well, I definitely know I didn't even achieve any one of them! Well for 2012, I'm thinking of setting a few goals for the year. First off is to get back in shape, graduate from school, get a better job and not to touch alcoholic beverages again. Next up is to relearn playing a keyboard. Haven't played one in 15 years and tried playing it again and I couldn't even play "Chopsticks". I don't expect much replies here seeing the forums being very slow, but share out your resolution for 2012! |

I'd like to finish at least one of my ongoing chapter stories, preferably before I graduate from high school, hopefully Alison's Project. By "keyboard," do you mean a keyboard or an actual piano, OP?

lol I never keep my resolutions, but I do hope to get back into school/work on my demo this year/late this year. Why are you quitting drinking? Things getting out of hand? My resolution is not really a resolution, just a goal I've been laying off for a while, but I need to get back into school this year and yes, eventually graduate if I don't get into a company or some agency. Silly I know, but it's the only thing I've decided so far. Hopefully things get better for Japan as well.

My resolution is to learn how to drive and get my driver's license. Although, I guess that's something more along the lines of 'I have to do it' instead of a resolution type of thing in my situation. XD  |

I have a few New Year resolutions: 1) To try to get a job. 2) To try to be more organised. 3) To try to be healthier. 4) To get rid of some of the solvable flaws/issues with myself to increase my confidence and self esteem. |

Most people want to get into shape or get a job, it looks like. lol I feel like mine is too lame of a resolution

my new year's resolution is not to have anymore new year's resolution since I haven't keep it. but meh, my new year's resolution is to be good. :D |

same with da, not actually a resolution but rather a goal within this year. "to get the number 1 spot on Pixiv's Daily Ranking" so far the only rank that I get was 18 >< still aiming for 1 this whole year.. and also a goodluck on the upcoming Summer Comic Market since were going to publish our book there :]

@Mystia A synthesizer keyboard to be exact :D @DA Yeah...kinda realized I always had a little too much when I drink lately and it's burning my wallet as well, and can be a little unhealthy to my liver. Need to find a healthier way to de-stress cause being a porcelain hugger is not that great for my CV in the long run XD @Shini Yea, I need to get to my old shape as well. 2011 was the year where all I had was fastfood almost everyday >.> Then again, new year's resolutions are quite hard to keep. Need to make myself a note to keep these resolutions going. |

i never really bothered to make resolutions, knowing fully well that i usually end up doing nothing... but i just hope my body's condition can be better, so i can continue studying.  |
