They recently changed the layout of youtube to make it more "user-friendly". Basically from what I've seen for myself they make it so your subscriptions are accessed via homepage. I don't mind the layout, less white than before, but there are some bugs. So far has anyone, other than me, been unable to view any videos either on the large display or full screen? It works via embedded link, but it does not work on youtube itself. From researching, it seems that's because it doesn't support the later versions of flash? Just a note though, don't view anything other than the normal screen size, but I'm sure you can still change to HD (if available) without hassle. List any other issues or bugs you come across here, too.

I think it's "O.K" personally. I actually like the home page but for the profile page, it really need some work. You can enable or disable the "Featured" tab but the interface could really do some work. Featured tab only have 4 choices and not much customization. The "Feed" tab is what I like but viewing comments needs an extra click via the view button at the top. Interface wise for profile page is not bad, but it really needs work. |

Nope. I don't like how some advertising company knows so much about me. It sort of scares me. Overall its pretty meh. Not amazed, but its not complete garbage. Only problem is that my youtube tab looks like im hiding porn.

Yeah, I feel like they didn't even finish some areas of the interface. It feels completely empty. I'm sure they'll improve on it throughout the next few months, yes, but a bit too soon to let it go public. They should've released some sort of beta or had a new version type thing like Twitter did before their interface change. [@hello] lol ;P

@DA Yea, I think so too. It feels incomplete. Google seems to be collecting comments for the new interface so most probably they might do a little update to it. @hello If you frequently use google and youtube, you search preferences might have been collected and you get ads to what your searches usually are. And I can't really help but snicker to your porn remarks. But now that you mentioned it, it seems like it... |

There is a good effect on the new youtube updates now. SEO guys have more maneuver on ads now with the new features. Good Interface than the second one. And the profile page is something new to me. But the bad effects for me on this updates is those annoying ads. It's like my cookies has a SPY on it. The video streamming is slow. I have multiple retries in order to load my favorite Sentai Series due to broken stream. I now use Google Chrome Incognito window now to surf on youtube in order to fasten my streams with no hassle in ads. No more Firefox for now for me while using Youtube... "sob. |
