Subtitle Malfunction Confirmation for Fate/Zero?
Link | by eriance on 2011-10-23 12:32:43
For those that have watched episodes 3 and 4 of Fate/Zero, would anyone mind confirming rather it has subtitles or not? The first two episodes had them, but the latter two doesn't seem to have any. I've checked in "Show Subtitles" for my sub-sub options in my MKV drivers - no luck. I've also tried updating to the latest MKV plugins - no luck.

Does it simply not have subtitles or do I need some special update?

PS: certain episodes of Tiger and Bunny also have the same issue.

-Thank you for your help.

Well it depends, did you dL the file(s) here on animesheep or from another source?

I can't say exactly, but it might be a subbing error on that fansub's part.
I recently dLed episodes 1-4 so far (haven't seen them personally),
but after waiting like 5 minutes to open up episode 3, I saw subs, so it's good for me.

The sub was from UTW, so maybe try getting the episode from them. 720p~~ *.*

I'm also using VLC on my Macbook btw.

I'll give VLC a try. I'm using MPC right now.

If you are not seeing subtitles, you need to download a codec. Go and download CCCP, and everything should be working fine afterwards.

I have CCCP; the newest one.

Then you need to download k-lite codec pack, which should come with Media Player Classic. Use the codec and MPC, and you should be fine after that.
