Third world war had came sooner than expected, right after the major countries jointed themselves with one another. North America joined with South America as well as Europe joining with Asia. This was all due to a minor terrorist accident that had killed the representatives of the treaty. As the numbers of people demanded a change, corrupt leaders began to arise. Eventually, war had been announced. It was United America versus Eurasia.

Details


The current date of this would be at 2019; technology would be somewhat more advanced than it was today. This role-play would mainly focus on the lives of those on the battlefield or its survivors. Technology is an asset during the war, therefore it is impossible to steal mechs from one another as all mechs have a certain condition that would cause itself to self-destruct.

United America: United America was created by the formation of the countries of North America and South America.

Eurasia: Eurasia, as its name suggests, is the formation of Europe and Asia.

Weapons

Man has been focusing on mechanized weapons more those such as firearms. Both armies would most likely, use jets, armore d vehicles, and mechs (recently developed).

-United America: Their firearms, fighter jets, and tanks have slightly been modified for better performance, however, bullets still remain the same, as they are present. Foot soldiers usually have two drones within each squad mounted with an automatic gattling gun that fires armor piercing rounds (deadly to Eurasian soldiers). The foot soldiers are capable of cloak, however can only be used for a short period of time before the battery recharges itself (max operational time: 3 minutes). Mechs require a pilot to operate the cockpit. However the operating system is similar to that of an Armored Core or a mass-produced unit in the Gundam series.

-Eurasia: They use modern weapons up to date however, they have been greatly improved and can be put on par with that of the UA(United America). Their soldiers have the same stealth capability as the UA, however their weapons are often more focused on power rather than rate of fire. They wear heavily armored suits and do not require drones for assistance.

Special Weapons

*Laser (United America only | Can only be used by UA mechs)
-Cannot be detached from the battery and still operate as it requires a massive amount of power to operate. It is usually attached to a very long cable near an underground nuclear power plant. The size of a weapon is roughly the size of a sniper rifle for a mech. The shot itself can only be fired once and is usually used to combat a. Eurasian mech during siege. However, when the laser is fired, the beam is impossible to dodge. However the laser has limited range of 50 KM and can be easily destroyed from a long distance.

*Plasma Rifle
-The plasma rifle has very limited ammunition (usually less than ten shots | United America’s hold twenty shots) due to its heavy weight. This weapon easily heats up quickly due to its system and has a low rate of fire as a result (1 shot per 2 seconds).

*Plasma Sword
-The plasma sword has an integrated battery that charges itself after it is placed back into its sheathe. Each sword is different to suit each mech. It has the ability to cut through buildings as well as Eurasian mech Force fields.

Mecha

Mechs are the strongest weapons of each country, but due to their extreme cost, they cannot be mass produced and only eight (four for each country) have been made.

*Eurasian Mech: Bio Mech [similar to EVA’s from Neon Genesis Evangelion]
-Easy to pilot (Controlled by the mind and movement of body)
-Can only equip one plasma weapon,
-Can only equip several light weapons or one heavy weapon due to weight limitations.
-Cannot take flight for long periods of time (Max flight time 5 mins)
-Limited Pilot time [Max Battery life: 10 Mins before need of recharge]
-Pilot shares pain with mech (But won’t suffer from physical harm on their body)
+Easy to pilot (Controlled by the mind and movement of body)

+Resistant against Ballistics

+Able to create force fields (Used to protect themselves, or add massive penetration force to their melee weapon. (However, this forcefeild can be easily drained of power after 50 hits from a ballistic weapon)

+Highly agile due light weight. Can also jump extremely high but not very far


U.A. Mech: Typical Mech
-Required Skilled pilots (their technology in mechs are not as advanced as Eurasia, therefore they required skilled pilots. Their operating system is similar to that of an Armored core or any mass produced mobile suit in the Gundam series)
-Vulnerable to Ballistic/Energy Weapons
-Limited operating time [Max Battery life: 30 mins before need of recharge]
+Able to carry multiple weapons, however more weight means less speed

+Long flight duration (one hour of continuous flight before fuel cells run out)

Armament:

Eurasian Mechs are only capable of using one plasma weapon. Only the laser, plasma rifle and sword is able to penetrate Eurasian mech Force fields.

Mechs are usually equipped with Railguns, or firearms (Rifles, Shotguns, and machineguns). But can also be equipped with non energy swords, these are usually used to wipe out bases, or ships.

Shields can also be used, however energy shields have a very short operational time limit. Anti ballistic shields are almost commonly used

NOTE: Since it is 2019, there cannot be weapons similar to Dragoons from the Gundam Seed series.

More weapons means less speed from the weight ratio. UA have a maximum of ten, Eurasian have a maximum of five.

Additional Info:(Flight times must remain the same, But there can be things such as Wings (Similar to Freedom from Gundam) that would add extra energy or extend flight time). Add-ons can also be weapons.

She never eats much, and she has insomnia, she hardly ever sleeps at night and usually sleeps when she can during the day.

Biography: Even when she was young, Dana had always been different from her peers, having a German father and an Albino German mother (Which is why Dana is an Albino as well). She was always weak, yet she was highly intelligent, and technology and the sciences had always fascinated her. She had entered high school at the age of 12, and by 14 she had graduated. While in high school, she met her future husband, Otto Weiss, a likeminded child genius like herself, and Dana has loved him ever since. When they were 18, they graduated college, and the pair married shortly after. They both obtained high and successful positions in their respective fields, Otto getting a technology related job with the military, and Dana getting a job as a Chemist in a successful company. It was no surprise that when they were 21, Dana became pregnant with their first child. The couple was overjoyed at the news of a child, and after 9 months, their daughter, Vilma, was born.

However, not everything in Dana's life had a happy ending. Vilma had been a normal, happy baby living together with her parents up until the age of 4. Then, one evening, a fire suddenly broke out in their home. Dana was able to get out of their home in time, but by the time she reentered the fire to try and save her child and husband, it had spread so fast that she couldn't take the smoke and she had to leave. After hours of fighting the fire, the firemen were able to put it out, yet Vilma and Otto were nowhere to be found. They searched for her in the wreckage of the house, and they found her. That is, they found her child and her husbands charred bodies, burnt to a crisp because of the fire. However, due to her schizophernia (Explained more about that below), Dana does not believe that the fire was real; she still believes that her husband, and more so, her child, are still alive.

After the fire, Dana was considered unstable, and due to her husband's position in the military (He invented new technology for the military and was also one of the head scientists that helped create Eurasian mechs) she was allowed housing at the military HQ in Germany. After she lived there long enough to show that she was harmless with her schizophernia, she had been given the oppertunity to go inside a prototype of one the mechs Otto had designed by one of his co-workers. When she went into it, it had somehow been turned on by someone else, who hadn't realized that she was in the mech. It was then found out that she had extreme potential to bond with and become a skilled mech pilot, so she was offered by this group of scientists to join the military and to become a future pilot. Dana, having quit her other job, was ready to accept this offer, on one condition: They would finish that mech and make it totally combat suitable, and that they were to design it the way she told them to. Not knowing the reasoning behind his offer, the scientists agreed, and Dana soon became the pilot of that mech, whom she had named and, to a certain extent, designed after her daughter, Vilma.

Dana has undifferentiated schizophrenia, a form of schizophrenia which causes her to have both auditory and in her case, abnormally strong visual hallucinations as well. She has officially had the disease since she was 10, although she might have had it even longer. The problem with being able to find out how long she has had the disease is because she doesn't think they are hallucinations, she cannot distinguish the hallucinations from reality because they are so lifelike and vivid, at times both the auditorial and visual hallucinations are present which make it impossible for her to even realize that it isn't real. In most of her more recent hallucinations, she sees her dead daughter, Vilma, and sometimes her husband Otto as well, which causes her to believe that they are still alive.

great range and with great precision.

Quicksilver: Leon's reflexes are very well developed, this coupled with his motion vision allows him to block
or dodge things that most people, with or without mechs, wouldn't be able to. It also makes him extremely
dangerous in close-range combat.

I Shall Not Yield: Leon's force of will is remarkable, he is often fights gritting his teeth to combat the pains
and only when the fighting has died down he allows himself to succumb. This is most noticeable when he is protecting

Secondary: These weapons are held against the mech's frame until they are needed.

Assault Cannon x2: Solid-projectile weapon mainly intended for use against infantry and lightly armoured vehicles,
although it's extreme rate of fire makes it capable of chewing through heavier armour with sustained fire.

Plasma Gun x2: Modified plasma weapon that uses pulsed plasma shots to pierce armor of even the heavily armoured vehicles,
this plasma pulse also poses a serious threat to mechs. The weapon has slower rate of fire than the more common plasma
rifle, but it is more powerful and has more range.

Energy Blade x2: Works by using large electrical current flowing along the edge of the blade converting the surrounding
gases into plasma. It uses less energy than plasma sword and though it is less effective than plasma sword overall,
coming into contact with a plasma sword causes the Energy Blade's efficiency to peak as it draws plasma from the
opposing blade nullifying the difference of strenght between the weapons.


Primary: These weapons can't be stored so they must be held by the mech and only one of them can be carried at once
due to their weight.

Burst Machine Gun: Standard machine gun modified to fire in 3 shot bursts instead of fully automated fire. This
considerably lowers it's fire rate, but increases accuracy. The burst is fired within a very short period of time
and introduces a cumulative stress to the point of impact, making it the penetration more likely when compared to
a single impact. Fires either solid depleted uranium alloy pyrophoric rounds or HEAT (High Explosive Anti Tank) shells.
The caliber of the gun is 130mm.

Axe Mortalis: A huge axe that is mainly intended for destroying bases and other "hard" targets. The weapon's haft is
made from alloy metal that is extremely durable and capable of withstanding immense heat without change in it's
physical properties. The blades are made from the same alloy, but the edges of the blades are made from chemically
treated diamonds making them extremely durable and able to transfer excessive amounts of heat. Within the blade is
a circuit that energises the blade causing the blade to heat up to the point where it is capable of literally melting
through armour.

Annihilation Lance: Railgun that has been built to take out hard targets at extreme ranges. The recoil of the weapon
is so great that the mech needs to brace in order to fire it, making it more of a sniper type weapon than anything
else. Unlike most railguns the barrel if rifled and the projectile itself had grooves causing the plasma plume caused
by the projectile to be concentrated on the impact site resulting in a cloud of plasma in addition to the massive
kinetic impact caused by the projectile. Even with the spin the projectile travels at a hypervelocity speed making it
next to impossible to dodge once fired. The fire rate of the weapon is 1 shot/minute as the barrel needs to be allowed
to cool down after each shot to prevent catastrophic failure. The energy consumption of the weapon is also enormous
requiring a new power cell after 3 shots. The barrel needs to be replaced after 6 shots and the weapon needs a complete
maintenance after 12 shots.

Civilians cannot participate during the war, if they stray from protection, the will most likely die from enemies. But Eurasian civilians are more protected during the war. The coviloan role is only for spectators of the war.I will start the RP as the first month of the war and so on. Since Eurasia has the edge in military technology, this RP will focus on Eurasian units attacking major cities during the war. After the second chapter, it would be the reverse, UA attacking Eurasia. Well, this is how I intended this to be, but due to the freedom of players. Both sides would be attacking each other at the same time.

For a UA mech, it would be about a maximum of ten weapons. Eurasian mechs can only equip five. When you have about ten weapons equipped on a UA mech, your boost speed would be around 300 mph. When your at one, it would be at 600 mph. But be considerate of the size of the weapon, large weapons are usually very heavy and may as well as count as three or four weapons.

Eurasian mechs are bio mechs, they have bone and flesh. Because of this, they cannot fly very long periods. Thrust packs are allowed for Eurasian mechs, but since they would be traveling at Mach 5, it would extremely difficult to hit a target at that speed since aiming and targeting is all manual. UA mechs have the advantage due to their lock on system within their quantum super computers. Thus allowing them to use missiles to accurately hit targets at Mach 5.

P.S. I have also reduced the boost time for the thrust pack to 10 minutes.

As you could see, there are ten weapons, meaning that the boost speed of this mech would be 300 mph. Weapons may be dropped during combat, lightening the mech to improve boost speed. However there are weapons that are integrated and cannot be dropped. Weapons are usually dropped as soon as they have run out of ammunition, or cannot be further operated. Be innovative with the Add on option, as it will provide advantages during combat.

(Expendable) Weapons Transport Tank: Machine Gun (A large tank that contains one weapon but can be easily destroyed)
(Expendable) Weapons Transport Wing: Energy-Resistant Chained Sword (An aircraft that contains one weapon but can be easily shot down)

As you saw, a new example of a weapon would be the chained sword, a ranged melee weapon that would be beneficial against any powerful mech. Since UA mechs generate more torque, Eurasian mechs can be easily overpowered in strength. However, Eurasian mechs are more agile, making them deadly in melee combat. As mentioned before, be innovative with the “Add On” option, as it will provide advantages during combat.

Frozen two things that I'd like to point out to you at this point. =P


1. The operational time of the mechs is rather low, even the 30 minute limit on UA mechs. I have hard time
believing something that can only act for such a limited amout of time would ever be considered to be used
as a weapon, except in extreme desperation. (This is my take on the subject, not a fact).

2. The weight you put in your last post is ridiculously low considering the size of the mechs. A similar
sized aeroplane (Boeing B-52 Stratofortress) has an empty weight of 83 tons and it is considerably less
dense than the mechs (this is just a speculation though). So I've put a weight on my mech that I find
more "realistic".

Yes, that does make sense when comparing the future to the present. But mechs require lots of power to operate and are considered as super weapons that can easily change the tides of war. To prevent players from wiping out main HQ's, I've decided to limit operational time(But players wont bother to use time in their posts nor would I care) .Mechs are designed to be fast and light weight to dodge incoming fire rather than block or take the hits.

Biography:Graduated from the military school,he came to America by the order from the Imperial Shogunate as a exchange student,learning things from the America as well exchanging technologies with them.In Japan,he is a very strong Imperial Warrior,well respected by his friends and brothers-in-arms.Despite that,he's a real diehard fans of ACGs,especially when it comes to guns and warships,mostly battleships.He loves mechas too,but not as much.

Warships are too easily sunk. An mech's power surpasses several fleets. Unfortunately, I've decided not to involve Japan due to their weak military force. As well as their small country.

There seems to be enough people to start this. We'll start when everyone has finished their profile. I will also be player slightly on minor characters. This will give an insight of what is happening during the war. I will also post criteria sheet that briefly describes what must be done for chapter one to end.
