Delphi is the descendant of Turbo Pascal that was released in 1995. It has similarity in Basic and Pascal but its commonly running in Windows 3.1, Win95/98. I know this programming language, but I didn't practice it much in school and its not well known for business use. We normally used Visual Studio (6.0/.NET/2008) in my work. If you plan to construct a CLASS using this programming language for your school project or something, I advice you to study OOP (Object Oriented Programming) first before undestanding the coding in Delphi. You can use OOP principles in all programming languages specially for constructing classes, objects, programming components/tools, etc. in a hard code manner (meaning without using visual objects already found in Visual Studio, you will code your own button, scrollbar, and other visual objects). |
