guys i need your opinion..
i can't decide which song is good to hear or not, sometimes i download songs based on rating or clicks but only few songs are good

i just download Chiaki Ishikawa - Ruisen and it's a good song,but when i see the rating,it's below 8000
so do you have any tricks to download songs from gendou???

tricks?haha usually i would ask opinions from friends.

well i would, too be disappointed after i download a song based on its rating because what i get isnt what i expect it would be.
the best would be to google up the song's composer instead of the singer. :)

try googling your favorite song's composer and download his/her songs. :)

Why don't you download songs that you like listening to rather than base a song on it's ratings. If it has high ratings it doesn't necessarily mean that you will like it, its based on your own taste and an individual.

Have youtube ready as a tab on your internet browser and listen to the song. The rest can be easily thought of.

Most songs are rated not purely based on how it sounds, but also how the anime influence them. There are people who anyhow rate 10 to a song without even listening to it just because it is from an anime they like. Just for example, some songs for K-ON! are only at 7.XXX or even 6.XXX ratings now, but when they just came out, it was 8.XXX cause some K-ON! fans just anyhow rate 10. Same goes to karaoke songs... some people don't even listen to it, but if it's a song from their favourite anime or the original song is nice, they simply give a 10. Naturally, even if a nice song happened to appear as the top 10 (8.5xx), but it is from an unpopular anime / unpopular artist, they would naturally give it a 1 without even listening to it. This is an extremely obvious trend I've been observing. So in general, never trust the ratings.

Of course, what-others-find-nice-while-you-don't is another relevant factor as well, making ratings of songs even much unreliable for people who are casually searching for nice songs.
