Are you lookin for sites? Or if just something people might have in common? I play the flute and Im always trying to find new sheet music. But a lot of the sheet music I find (Gundam, Escaflowne, CLAMP X, Vampire Hunter D, My Neighbor Totoro, Love Hina, etc.) are for piano or something else thats not flute. But I can still play some pieces even if they are for piano as long as the notes are not to middle C. |

Anything and everything about anime sheet music. Some sites that I like are ichigos.com and animescores. Does anyone know any more? |

Quickest way to find it is through either Google or Yahoo but then sometime they would lead you to site that might make you pay to even look at one sheet (that sucks)

Well, it's not basically anime, but games like Final Fantasy and stuff, and their songs are pretty good, too, so I visit there often. It's nobuouematsu.com, and they've got a HUGE selection of sheet music, with different instruments and arrangements. I love it. most anime sheet music sites don't have that much for the violin, but I got my fingers workin' over the ones on that site. ^^

eh, i once brought my violin to fanime with a guitarist :/ does that count if it was only for a couple minutes? there is very little GOOD violin sheet music, i'm so disappointed i haveta write everything out by taking piano music, listening to the song, and write both clefs onto violin scores, very un-fun. By the time i finish them, i stop liking the song :[

Pocky-san: Hahaha, I used to do that before. Then I ended up downloading a software that converts MIDI files to sheet music... which was pretty good, considering first that your MIDI file was of good quality... As for the duet thing, I'm not entirely sure; they weren't very specific about it. Like you said, it only lasted for two minutes, and it's not like you asked the audience to give a thousand bucks to hear you play it, so I guess it's pretty harmless... of course, at the time you played, you didn't really know about the copyright rules. ...of which blew our final exam last year. A classmate of mine asked if we could do a duet of Final Fantasy X's "Suteki da ne" on guitar and violin. Then we found out we had to ask permission... (-_-;)

I've looked for anime sheet music for EVER >< Except for I can usually only find piano music, which sometimes contain notes that are too low/high to be played on the flute, the only instrument I play. |

hehe like half an hour ago i was looking for sheet music on josh's master sheet music list and ichigos. I printed about 13 songs.. i'll try and play them tomorrow.. At ichigos, on the forms you can request music for the flute and violin and other stuff... if you can't find it anywhere else post somthing there in the forums. I'm sure someone would beable to transcribe it for you If you need some sites look at the links at ichigos. and josh's master sheet music list has ALOT of links to over 1000 songs. I'm not sure of the url cuz i always go to ichigos first then go to the links. |
