*Title: Touhou Shuuseigenshou　(Translation: Collection of the Illusionary Eastern Flights)
This is my 4th RP, this time it's Touhou based. It will take place in Gensoukyou, as all Touhou things are located.
As per suggestions, I will explain Touhou's backstory.
Background of Touhou.
Gensokyo was originally a desolate, haunted region of Japan ages ago. The youkai that lived there began to terrorize the surrounding lands, and thus powerful, heroic humans were sent to exorcise and exterminate them. The off and on battle between humans and youkai continued on until 1884 A.D., when Gensokyo was sealed off from this increasingly scientific and skeptical world with the creation of the Hakurei Border. There has been little contact between those societies ever since. Today, the only known gateway between Gensokyo and this world is the Hakurei Shrine, which stands in isolation along the border on distant mountains of the far east.
Gensokyo is populated mainly by youkai, but a decent human and rabbit population lives there as well. Some of its inhabitants went there to hide, to escape, to find shelter when no one and nowhere else would accept them. Many of them just like the natural darkness.
Distant past - Lunarian society is established
Chinese legend - Chang'e/Jouga drinks the elixir of immortality and flies to the moon
Kojiki - the white rabbit of Inaba is attacked by crocodiles it tricks and is saved by Lord Daikoku (~3000 years ago)
Japanese legend (BCE 300 or earlier) - the Great Suwa War
hard to date due to the difficulty of determining the start of the Japanese Iron Age
Before Taketori Monogatari - birth of Fujiwara no Mokou (to Fujiwara no Fuhito?)

Akyuu was the first Child of Miare after the border's creation, so Aya probably died before 1885

Scarlet Devil Mansion appears in Gensokyo, but it isn't clear if its always been there originally or always under Remilia's control.
Akyuu believes Remilia came to Gensokyo after this incident.

About Touhou
The Touhou Project (æ±æ–¹Project) is a series of 2D (with 3D background) vertically-scrolling danmaku shooting games made by Team Shanghai Alice, with three fighting game spinoffs co-produced with Tasogare Frontier. They are similar to regular shooting games, but focus more on weaving through complex patterns containing anywhere from dozens to hundreds of bullets. Every game in the Touhou series is set in the fantasy land of Gensokyo, and the series is known for its huge cast of characters, well-developed storylines, and related materials such as music CDs, fan-made comics and animated videos made to the music.
The storyline for this RP is this:
On a peaceful day in Gensoukyou, everything was boring as usual. Then all of a sudden, a being came from the ground, and started to destroy everything. No one knew where it came from, or how it got there, so the heroines flew off to stop this being from eliminating their homeland. But somewhere in the distance, that being was part of their master plan.
Now concerning OC's. They are allowed, BUT. They can be youkai, half-and-half, or human, they just can't be the main heroes/antagonists, and they can't be extremely overpowered. If they are stronger than Reimu or Yukari, I won't allow them to be in the rp, they will be NPCs. Roles are split into:

-Need help on getting a character down? Don't hesitate on PMimg me and I'll help you out.
-Do NOT have your OC do things that can cause or seem haxworthy, I.E. breaking Yukari's border with one hit is hax worthy. That's a nono.
-If you're not dedicated to this or won't be on for periods of time, PM me and I'll make the character a NPC for the time being.

*If human, give what location you came from if you don't live in the Human Village.
*Humans don't and shouldn't have abilities to go on-par with youkai. Danmaku will kill humans on contact. It's like a live grenade. Half-youkai won't explode, and it will only hurt youkai a little bit. Only exceptions are Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae.
