Songs not downloading on mobile

I thought it would be better to download all the music I could through my mobile instead of having to rely on my PC and some data transfer software, but it has given me nothing but problems as my phones native browser only downloads a 11k html file and even though opera mini (which I downloaded afterwards) shows the correct file size it too only downloads a 11k file. Is there any way around this or do the sites download scripts not work properly with mobile web browsers (my mobile is a INQ mini 3G). Edit: it looks like a browser problem (or the site doesn't like mobile browsers) as I tried again with opera mini 5 on my LG KP500 (that phones native browser wouldn't even let me log in) and it did the exact same thing (file downloaded incomplete) although the html file did state that the music files can only be accessed via the POST method only which I would conclude that the site doesn't like mobile web browsers |

Just use your PC, and save yourself the trouble.

Browsers that do not support Javascript will not be able to download music. This is a known limitation. It's not that the site doesn't "like" your browser, it's that your browser is disobeying the HTML form tag and using the wrong HTTP method to request the download file.

| I just checked and it seems that the default browser on my INQ does support Javascript but it is turned off by default so I'll turn it on and see if it makes any difference. |

Looks like you started downloading the file, but only got 65K of it. :)

| Actually I don't seem to be getting any of the file since on the INQs default browser (and Javascript was on when I first tried) all I get is a 11k html file with the information I put in the edited first post which is probably what I was getting when I was trying the download with opera mini even though it did show as a mp3 file so I'm guessing that the browsers are using an outdated version of Javascript. |
