I am looking for the best anime shows in your opinion in terms of the anime's music. For instance, it may include the opening and ending theme, but if possible, I would like the songs during the actual show to be good as well. I have been recently introduced to Kumikyoku Nico Nico Douga, and have hated myself ever since for not knowing of it sooner. Having listened to the various good songs in its medleys, I am very curious to know and listen to good songs, so please, help me! Thank you. |

Escaflowne, Utena, Evangelion, Earth Girl Arjuna, and Miazaki films are good.

That summed a good chunk of it. I also prefer Papika's music as well. Though majority of the bgms are based on the theme song. I like a good number of sounds from .hack in both it's games and series. Speaking of games, I just adore Suikoden's Celtic-themed music.  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

If you're into Gundam, Wing had some pretty good BGM music (and awesome OP/ED). If you like a more hip-hip Japanese style, Samurai Champloo is your choice.

Aria. The OPs BGMs and EDs are really nice. Honey and Clover also had some nice sounds. |
