What do you think of Animes becoming Games?

| I originally thought of putting this in the Game Forum section. Think of the games like Full Metal Alchemist and Pokemon and Gundam. Do you think that they were just as good as when the animes came out? Or was it better staying as the anime? Also think of it in the reverse: What about games being made into animes? |

pokemon games= much better than the anime. I would love for them to these anime justice with good games, but I haven't found one that I truly think yet, "Wow this is as good as the anime!"

The Pokemon game is fun to play, but I haven't played the FMA and Gundam games so I can't give feedbacks about them. Well, I enjoyed the Pokemon game as well as the series, but the game is more exciting than the anime. ^_^ I like the idea of games becoming anime. You get to understand the knack of what you're playing. ^_^ |

| North America *tends* to get the best of the best when it comes to anime -> games. I've played a lot of anime -> game video games that weren't that great, or just kind of odd. (example, Neon Genesis Evangelion parlor Mahjong). |

H-games turned anime = good err from my experience, i kinda have the weird hobby of collecting animes that came from games like (AIR,Tsukihime,Kimi ga nozomu eien etc)  |

| Pokemon games are the shiznit. I don't hate them at all. I still sometimes like whipping out the N64 and playing Pokemon Stadium. (lmao) |

I think some anime videogames compliment the anime itself; Like the Naruto fighting game---It is really cool to make genins, chunins, or jounins fight each other!!! And I think I'm going to buy the FMA game.I hope it has many roy sequences there... (aaah....roy mustang....**drools**

u people are lucky. there's quite a lot of animes that have game versions but i never get to buy them because they don't get imported into s'pore!!!

Can someone tell me where I can get H-games? like tell me the site or a site to buy it? i dun like ebay bc they gay.. Well ive played some animes that turned into games like Gungrave, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Pokemon, Chobits, Gundam,Digimon and so on but some of them get kinda boring since the story from the game has nothing to do wit the story from the anime except the Chobits game bc it retells the whole story.. well for games like Pokemon its better than the anime. Im not sure is the Dragonball games better than the anime or is it the other way around? bc i like them both...  |

anime to games, games to anime - we already see this happening with Xenosaga, Zone of the Enders and others. I don't think there is anything wrong with it per-se. The only thing that worries me is WHO does the adaptations. For example, I remember Card Captor Sakura was on Sega or SNES a few years back...and it was horrible. The game was all about Sakura's friend Madison (in English) capturing Sakura in different costumes with her camera. It wasn't fun at all and isn't what a person who likes Card Captors would want from the game....On the other hand many have been quite succesful - a good example of this is .//hack - only that because it is a series it isn't so kind on the wallet :)

As long as the gameplay is good and exciting then the "Anime to Game" is fine. As for "Game to Anime", as long as the Anime is interesting and exciting to watch.  |

Some anime "converted" to games are really good but some are very horrible... In some of the games, the game plot is pretty the same where you act as the main characterl, in other games all you do is click and let them blab in front of you... ^_^

In my experience, games turned anime are usually good, for the most part (like AIR, Kanon, Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, etc.) but it's not usually that good the other way around. =_= All the anime-based games I've played were rather mediocre.

In fact, I watched/read One Piece, Naruto, and Prince of Tennis because i played the game and got interested... Haha, Ino can kick Itachi's ass in the game... |
