Blazer Drive [ Manga ] [ Spoilers!? ]

I looked through quite a few pages, googled, and used the forum search feature for this manga known as `` Blazer Drive ``. Since it was nowhere to be found, I thought it time I make a thread for this amazing manga that few people have really gotten into as far as I know. Recognize the style? No, this person didn't go and copy Masashi Kishimoto – [ Creator of Naruto ], this guy is Masashi's twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto! They grew up drawing together, and as such their styles are similiar. Enough of that, though, as I have the plot overview taken directly from Wikipedia: Taking place in a futuristic style of Tokyo, Japan. Society has harnessed the power of the elements into items known as "Mystickers" which give off various effects depending on which is used and can be applied to everyday housework or even combat. Daichi, our main hero is a young teen that resents his older brother but finds comfort in his dealings with friends. After an encounter with some bullies Daichi discovers he has the potential to become a Blazer, people who are able to apply these "Mystickers" unto their skin without causing harm to their own bodies. It isn't after another deadly encounter with an unknown assailant of an organization that's targeting him that Daichi learns of his fate and that of his brother. At the cost of something precious, Daichi sets out to reclaim that which was taken, embarking on a dangerous quest with a new resolve and a powerful "Mysticker" of his own. This manga [ Which already has spawned a DS game, by the way ] is an amazing work. While some may say it's nothing to get excited about, those people obviously have not sat down to read it and really enjoy what you get here. The characters, the stories, abilities and technology .. all of them are unique, and that includes any similarities to Naruto. Some say Daichi, the main character, is just like Naruto mixed with some Sasuke – and you couldn't be more wrong. Daichi is his own character, and like many Shounen leads you could say Naruto is like others and vice versa. It's a part of the genre! Other information you may need is that Blazer Drive is a monthly release manga, and that just last month [ around April 22nd or so ] Chapter 23 was released. Well then, are you a fan of Blazer Drive? oh, I read Blazer Drive, waiting for the next chapter to come out at the moment. Kind of suck that this manga is a monthly series not a weekly.  |

The good thing though is each chapter is amazing. While I wish it was weekly too, at least the quality and all of all the chapters is really great. |

lol i thought i was the only one who read this series. yea its a pretty unique series in my opinion but none of the scanlation groups translate consistently so it sucks waiting for it all them time

Well with the sites I use to read it, it's posted around the 19th-25th of each month. It's not too bad, at least. |
