has anyone watched it yet? this probably the weakest of all of the movies so far. there wasnt any real excitement in this one in my opinion. really disappointed

Is this the one with Kakashi having more of a lead role? I forget, saw the trailer last summer.

Well yeah, that's obvious, I gotta see it for myself. I read people didn't like it, the trailer looked interesting cause I thought we'd learn more about Kakashi, but yeah, no. Bonds, to me, is still the best movie from the entire Naruto franchise, thus far. If they don't make an arc in the anime, I suspect they'll be something about the Uchiha clan origin, that'd be a sweet ass movie idea.

Aww, you didn't like it? I just watched it an hour ago, and I actually liked the movie more than I thought I would. I thought the fights were pretty good, and it was nice seeing everyone fight again. Ahaha, even Ten-Ten was useful. :O Jks jks. It was nice seeing her fight since we've never seen too much of that. (; Seeing Asuma and Jiraiya again only made me miss them more though. I'm actually sorta excited to see the next movie as well, although I won't be seeing it until a long time. The fact that Naruto is gonna be fighting alongside Minato has me interested. :D   |

The fights were pretty good, actually the last fight was epic! Better than the second movie's ending fight in my opinion. his multi-clones could handle all those Oodama Rasengans? Dang, and the friggin' Rasen Shuriken is BEAST! So glad that's going to be in Narutimate Shippuuden Storm 2, friggin' epic. Ten-Ten actually took care of that final Chimera summon, but I hate how they killed everyone off since they started the Sasuke arc way back. Pre-Shippuden, they balanced everyone out, there were better rivalries, now everyone's older and fighting their own battles. It's understandable though, but still, their ranks are so different compared to before when they weren't even Chuunin yet. Yeah Asuma and Jiraiya was a nice show, though you have to remember it was made a year ago way before the Akatsuki got involved. Weird not seeing Sasuke at all, I wonder what he would've thought about the entire thing. During Bonds he thought of the old Team 7, so you never know his thoughts during the movies anyways. I hated how they did the Gaara vs. Naruto fight though. It was like so fast and barely worth it. I know they were trying to prevent him from going to Kakashi, but Naruto actually out-speeds his sand and punches him. -______-" P.S. Where the hell did he learn how to heal those bells using his chakra? Wtf was he a construction ninja now!?

i guess my expectations were too high for it. it was called the inheritors of the will of fire (or something along that). im thinking whoa this is gonna be an epic battle between konoha and the rest of the ninja nations. its gonna be a huge battle. they only show the sand village attacking konoha and everyone knew that they werent going to fight the leaf village. and then kakashi, i was disappointed in his role. he was just hypnotized 3/4 of the movie. there was hardly a struggle between the 2 sides. the leaf village pretty much dominated the opponents. even the main boss didnt do much damage to them. my expectations of this movie were crushed to bits. the 2nd movie is far better in terms of action. yea the last fight was cool but how about the action throughout the whole movie? wasnt that great right? it just didnt do it for me. this movie is the weakest out of all of the movies in my opinion

Yeah I agree with your entire post pretty much, but I guess they drifted off from what they originally planned. Either that, but I'unno, these mainstream series and their movies usually are just about action and whatnot. I didn't like how Kakashi was utilized either, though it would've been really sad if he actually die (though illogical). All these movies are the same, some random enemy from a long time ago "awakens" and tries to find redemption. I hate those types of movies, anime movies are just un-original anymore... People barely appreciate Miyazaki or Katsuhiro Otomo for their amazing works. The second movie I said was the best so far, but even so the movies in general are just regular anime movies. The Bleach movies overall are horrible, it's all just entertainment. If they actually focused on something, it'd be cool.

Ahaha, I know exactly what you mean. When I watched the trailer almost a year ago, I assumed it would really centre around Kakashi and we would get to see him fight. And I would've preferred more action with Kakashi but I felt like all the other fights made up for that. Except I gotta agree with you about the Gaara vs. Naruto fight, I'm just gonna assume that Gaara wasn't taking that fight very seriously because it made him seem weak. Plus, Naruto hadn't even learned Sage Mode at that point. >__>" But most of the time, I try not to have high expectations for shounen anime movies that come from mainstream series like Bleach and Naruto. And you said it, the plot is practically the same formula over and over again, but despite the recycled plot I thought that everything else was good, especially the animation during the fights. Basically, I wouldn't watch these movies if I'm looking for something brilliant, but these movies are great for fans that want to be entertained. And it did keep me entertained for the whole of the movie even if the beginning was a bit slow. And the ending bit was pretty funny. (; |

lol well i wasnt expecting like an amazing movie. mainstream anime movies are always gonna be mediocre at best. my expectations of the movie though were it being the best naruto movie so far. lets convince jerry brockheimer or michael bay to direct one XDD.

[@amdandaa] Being a year ago, Gaara I think still had his bijuu. Definitley Naruto didn't know about Sage mode because Jiraiya's still alive, though I'm not sure where knowing Sage mode even came into play, lol. Random. I watch it just because I like the series and I like seeing the moves from the games (which aren't in the manga). Because I'm so getting Narutimate Shippuden Storm 2 and that game is going to be amazing. And yeah I forgot to mention, that ending was so random? Friggin' Yaoi moment there. O.o` But damn, that Rasen Shiruken is so awesome, jesus christ when he came down from the sky? Awesome! [@Ray] Michael Bay? Screw that. You're not saying that because of Transformers or anything, are you?

I've watch the movie and its quite good actually. All of the main characters take a part in the movie xD Its great to see them work together on the last part 8D And the ending.. LOL. I found it hilarious that all of them thought that.. Well Kakashi and Naruto have 'that' kind of relationship xD LOL

I liked it! I might be the only one here, but being a big Kakashi fan it was nice to have him in the movie more, even if it was just for bate... Anyway I think if you keep in mind that this not up with the Anime episodes then you can enjoy it a little more!  |

I fort it was ok. There has been beta naruto movies but it wasn't terrible i guess. I was confused though, i fort dat when naruto uses his wind shirrikun rasengun his arm is terribly injured but he lookd fine afta he used it. ?? can someone explain??

Yeah when I first saw this in the movie, I thought it was awesome, but the time frame was off. Because he learned it while Jiraiya was stilled alive, way before Pain came into the picture, the first time he used it against Kakazu, his arm was terribly injured and had great risk of disabling him from using it again. But he can easily use it while in Sage mode or with senjutsu, but he doesn't learn that until Jiraiya passed away, which was weird because in the movie he used it easily as if he already mastered its effects. It only hurt him badly against Kakazu because he didn't fully learn it yet and master its effects (or were even aware of it). I'm guessing he can only (even now) use it once without entering Sage mode. When he fights Pain, he returned strictly in full Sage mode so he easily used it multiple times.

Well. Thats odd. I just realize it when you bring that up. I also felt it strange when I watch it, but then. Maybe they forgot about this when they made the movie. Its a small detail after all lol
