Hey, I didn't see anything in the rules about not being allowed to start a one on one RP, so I've gone ahead and made the first post, and I left you part out so you could go ahead and post it like it's your character. Also I'm going to post a picture of my character in the first post just so you can get an Idea of what she looks like... well that's that, and off we go!!!

Ninja Pictures, Images and Photos

SHIZUKA KUROKI l Her Apartment

Shizuka stood in front of her mirror, surveying her reflection. Everything seemed oddly out of place. Her hitiate sagged slightly, her choppy shoulder length blond locks appeared messier than usual, her pale skin almost blended in with the porcelain of her shower, and her new uniform dwarfed her. A week ago she had been promoted to a Jounin, three days ago she turned seventeen, and with her promotion and birthday, which granted her drinking right by Konoha law, came celebration. Now the late nights could be seen in her deeply set onyx eyes. She was exhausted, and the standard issue uniform didn’t help her visual impression at all. The black shirt was too baggy, and the sleeves too long. She was forced to roll up the ends just to free her hands. The vest was a size too big and the padding used to deflect kunai weighed a ton. The black pants were about the only thing that actually fit her, and even then she hadn’t needed to unbutton them in order to shimmy them up over her hips. Her sandals were black and reached to her knee; they fit her but only because they weren’t a part of the official uniform. The village had sent all the remaining sandals to the ninja stationed at the front line, and were left with absolutely no footwear to speak of.

Shizuka sighed and attached her shuriken holster to her thigh. She thought about the Yondaime’s words when she had spoken to him the day before. He had smiled that damn gorgeous smile of his, the one that makes every girl in Konoha want to murder his girlfriend, and said, “Congratulations Shizuka, for your promotion and for your birthday.”

Shizuka had smiled, fighting to control a blush that threatened to tinge her checks.

“Try not to part too hard, tomorrow you are going to be assigned to a new team. You are to meet them in front of training ground five at seven AM sharp,” He told her.

“Hai!”

“Sorry about your uniform, we are expecting a shipment of supplies next week. Until then this is the closest we have to your sizes.”

Shikaku took one last look in the mirror before walking out the door of her apartment. She quickly made her way to training ground five. It was a quarter till seven and no one was around yet so she perched herself on a tree limb and waited for the rest of her new team to show up.

Ren’ai Kennon & Hatake Kakashi | Training Ground 5

At about five minutes to seven a figure appeared, on that by no means emanated the presence of a Jounin. The figure not only failed to wear the uniform assigned (which was obvious despite being cloaked by the shadows), but they were also very small in stature as well.

Stepping out of the shade some it faintly revealed a female of only sixteen. She stood at about five feet, two inches and thusly so they didn’t really have any uniforms that would fit her. That was alright though, she was more comfortable in her own clothes… that was beside the point though, but that was all that could be made out.

This small girl was one of Shizuka’s two new teammates, and her name was Ren’ai Kennon. Ren’ai, or better known as Ren, was well known in Konoha due to her past and the concerns that followed her. Originally Ren was from Kirigakure, having partaken in the proper training methods of the “Bloody Mist” in which children were trained to kill brutally and mercilessly without regret or remorse at a young age. This alone was enough to put people on edge about her when she was brought to Konohagakure at the age of seven, wearing a Kirigakure hitiate over both of her eyes and being carried by a hunter-nin whom happened to be her brother.

Ren was left in the hands of Konoha due to the fact that she had a Kekkei Genkai and the Mizukage had found out. Though the details were obscure it was obvious that she was either to be put on the front lines of war at that time or executed… and due to how young she was she was sentenced to execution. Her brother Hissori had been charged with this task. So, injecting her with a drug to imitate death (and actually did kill her for a short period of time) he took his ‘dead’ sister away and handed her over to Konoha where she would be safe. She then grew up as a kunoichi of Konoha since then though she maintained the frightening ruthless mannerisms of her home village.

All of that was not what worried those of Konoha most though… it was something else. It was that they did not know what her Kekkei Genkai was… it was that not once had Ren ever exposed her eyes. When Ren was awoken years ago from ‘death’ and told she could no longer bear the hitiate of Kirigakure she requested bandages and privacy. With it she had taken off her mark of Mist origin and bandaged her eyes and it was that way until she received her new hitiate which was then put over her eyes. Those were the reasons people were afraid of Ren.

Ren just stood in the clearing without a word, leaned against a tree as the two girls waited on their last teammate. Time seemed to be dragging itself on for ages over those five minutes though as they stood there. Promptly at seven however a third figure appeared, clad in the uniform that most Jounin of Konoha sported. Silver hair that was sort of messy in an orderly and styled manner with the lower half of their face hidden with a black mask were the first notable things about the figure. Upon closer inspection though it became apparent that one eye was hidden by their hitiate as well.

Their final teammate was Hatake Kakashi, only eighteen years of age at that point in time. With hands tucked in his pockets he approached with a stoic look on his features as he stopped in the clearing nearby the other two. After a moment or two a smile appeared on his lips, only noticeably by how the mask shifted. A hand was raised in a wave and his one visible eye seemed to curve upwards into a smile as he spoke,

“Yo!”

SHIZUKA KUROKI l Training Ground 5

Shizuka stayed sitting on her bench when a new figure arrived. Her hitiate was covering her eyes and Shizuka knew who she was in an instant. The girl was Ren'ai Kennon, on of the most infamous ninja in Konoha, next to Kakashi Hatake. Shizuka was well, thrilled to have such a gifted Kunoichi on her team, but less than thrilled to have someone with such a creepy background... Something about that girl just wierded Shizuka out, but she wasn't going to hold it against her new team mate. For all she knew she might actually get along with Ren'ai.

Shizuka stealthily observed her new team mate, as she had never seen her up close, she was shorter than she had imagined, and compleetly forgone the Jounin's uniform, but Shizuka couldn't blame her for it. They had barely been able to find one to fit herself, there was no way they were going to be able to find one to fit the little thing that was hiding in the shadows.

Shizuka went back to focusing on the approaching footfalls, it had been five minuets since Ren'ai appeared when Kakashi Hatake appeared. Shizuka was a little shocked by the sight of him. She had to wonder if she had come to the right place, perhaps she was supposed to go to training ground 4, where the footfalls she had been listening to stopped. There was no way she was going to be teamed up with ninja as elite as these two. Sure she had a interesting Kekeigenkai, but she didn't think that she could stack up to these two.

"Yo" Kakashi said raising his hand in a wave, Shizuka could tell he was smiling from under his mask, and his penetrating eye was looking right at her. She got the uncanny feeling he could see into her brain and thus dared not sum up his looks. All she allowed herself to think was that he was truly as hansom as everyone said. She had seen him around a few times, but never up close... now she could understand why all her friends were madly crushing on him...

"etto," she whispered... then trailed off. If she was in the right place it would be damn embarrassing to admit that she thought she was too weak to be in the team. Though it did lead her to wonder who was going to be captain of this team...

OOC: not much, but since Kakashi is the captain I think he should probably speak first...

Ren'ai Kennon & Hatake Kakashi | Training Grounds 5

Kakashi looked to the two that he now got to declare his teammates... though he was appointed leader of the team [which had been disclosed to him by Minato]. Looking at the two girls he could only grin, feeling a bit lucky to be thrown in with them as opposed to another guy and a girl... but then again, as he looked to the girl that stood in the shadows he wondered if he was as lucky as he really thought he was. After all, even people his age were weary of Ren’ai.

Shaking all those thoughts off none the less he took his focus off of the one girl and looked to both of them as he grinned a bit more full heartedly, well... time to get the show on the road, hm?

“Hello to both of you... I am glad to finally meet my teammates and excited to announce that I will be the leader of this team as disclosed by Minato... any fuss you have with that take it up with him and not me.” He stated as he noted a raised eyebrow from Ren’ai, though it was hard to make out past the hitiate over her eyes and the messy hair that fell in her face.

“Today we won’t be doing much... After all, it’s our first day together as a team and I’d like to get to know you as people before I really start getting into the other aspects of you such as skills and such.... So, tell me a little about yourself... Like what do you like? What are your dreams? Then also please give me simple things like name and anything else you find to be important. Annnnd.... you get to go first,” He stated, pointing at the blonde haired kunoichi as opposed to starting with Ren’ai.

He planned on having the girls go first and then going himself, though he doubted that they really needed to know anything about him... he, much like Ren’ai, was well known around Konoha... though not particularly in a favorable manner.

“Hello to both of you... I am glad to finally meet my teammates and excited to announce that I will be the leader of this team as disclosed by Minato... any fuss you have with that take it up with him and not me.”

Shizuka knew that Kakashi wasn't one for long speeches or glorious introductions, but for such a well known and respected Anbu captain his opening was rather laconic. Though Shizuka had to admit that she preferred it this way. Her old Sensei had taken a looooonnnngggg time to explain missions and he had continued to talk to her as if she were a Genin up until her promotion to Jounin last week.

Her mind dirfted back to what her friends had told her about kakashi. Did they mention that he had a sexy voice she wondered, remembering what her best friend had said the night before... Shizuka had to wonder if her best friend knew who her new Captian was supposed to be, she was a Chunin working in the record office.

Annnnd.... you get to go first,” Kakashi continued, pointing at Shizuka.

She sighed inwardly, not really prepaired to answer these kinds of questions, "Well... I'm Shizuka, I like Sakura trees and sushi... my dream is... well I don't really have any dreams..."

She finished her little intorduction, having skipped mentioning her Kekegenkai... She figured kakashi would have read her file, which she herself had never seen, and would already know about all that and more.

Ren’ai Kennon & Hatake Kakashi | Training Grounds 5

Kakashi looked over the less frightening girl of the squad which he had joined... she was pretty... actually, scratch that. She was really attractive but he knew that he didn’t have time to be drooling over the girl in his squad and that he more so needed to focus on what she was saying. After all, he was the one that asked about her so it was only common sense that he should listen to that which she had to say.

Listening to her speak about the few things that she liked and the fact that she didn’t have a dream he raised an eyebrow before smiling from behind his mask,

“Ah~ You should really work on that dear... it’s always good to have a dream, no matter how small or insignificant it seems to other you should always set goals and boundaries for yourself.” He stated with a nod. However, after offering that little friendly bit of advice he turned to the other female member of his new squad: Ren’ai.

“And how about you...?” He asked lightly, turning the question on her as he watched her shift a bit in her shaded place.

“Hn... I’m Ren’ai Kennon or Ren... I like snow and ice and the cold... My dream... my dream is to find my brother whom I was separated from. The others aren’t any of your business.” She stated rather shortly as she grinned in an almost sadistic manner... as if she knew something that those two didn’t... which she did, but nobody knew that. She didn’t plan on sharing, no... it wasn’t a good idea to share dark secrets now was it?

Kakashi just raised an eyebrow and shook his head faintly, rubbing the back of his head with a hand and ruffling his hair.

“Mm... okay then...” He at that point interrupted himself to clear his throat, “I suppose that just leaves me now then, hm? Well, I’m Hatake Kakashi. I like my book series I read and having fun. My dream is to be one of the most elite in all of Konoha... hopefully one day I’ll be an ANBU.” He stated and nodded, as if confirming the things that he said with a grin.

“Now, what do you two propose we do?” The captain of the team asked as he raised an eyebrow, done with that which he intended to get done that day.... that day was simply one for introductions to him.

Shizuka listened to her new team mate's introductions. Neither was very informative, but she had to admit Ren'ai's was far more educational than Kakashi's. Shizuka had to admit that she was surprised to find out that Ren'ai had lost a brother... She knew that she had been rescued from the Bloody Mist, but she didn't know who got her here, or anything about her life before hand. It made Shizuka happy to have been born and raised in Konoha, with her two loving parents. Soon Kakashi had finished his own introduction, which was no surprise, though Shizuka had to wonder exactly what kinds of books he was reading, he didn't exactly seem like the reading type. Though she kept that curiosity for later, she just assumed she would learn more about her team mates as time went on.

“Now, what do you two propose we do?”

This question baffled Shizuka, but not in the clueless-child kind-of-way, more of the, wait what? She was so used to her sensei always telling her what to do that she was a little caught off guard by this new proposal, but she recovered quickly.

"Well, do we have a mission assigned to us yet?" she asked, "if so we should probably go over that. If not, then we should probably sparr or something so we can start thinking of combo attacks and so forth... I mean you two," she paused to gesture at Kakashi and Ren, "are very capable ninja, with experience as Jounin... I'm still a noob, so I'm not really sure why I was put on this team in the first place..."

There it was, her low self esteem taking over and putting words in her mouth, but she did feel better to have expressed the concern she had, had since Ren'ai appeared in the shadows. She didn't care if either of them ridiculed her for this admission, but she would be curious to see what their reply was... Well Kakashi's because Ren didn't seem like the replying type.

Ren'ai Kennon & Hatake Kakashi | Training Grounds 5

Glancing over to Shizuka when she spoke about whether they had a mission or not, and if they did that they should go over it or at least spar... Ren raised an eyebrow.

“Most Jounin are being kept in Konoha and being prepared for front line battle or to be sent out in search of allies and people who will help us in the war... therefore we are probably being given about a week to train and get accustomed to each other and how to work together in an effect manner as a team. Once that period is over they will decide whether we are a better ‘political’ pawn or a better war pawn.... aka, whether to send us for treaty talk or to war and the front lines... however, due to the age of all of us I figure Yondaime will be more prone to sending us for peace talk so we should assure that we can speak without clashing opinions and such... therefore we will have to spend time each day accustoming ourselves to each others views and such.” Was stated by the cold mist born child with her arms crossed over her chest as her raised eyebrow ceased in its action.

Kakashi just blinked at the girl... that was probably the most that he (or most anyone in the village for that matter) had ever heard her talk in the nine years that she had resided in Konoha. He tried his best to shake it off as he looked over to the other girl of his team and faintly shrugged his shoulders.

“I would say that she is most likely right Shizuka... most likely we’ll be more of a deployment team who is supposed to go and try to make some more allies since we don’t really any at the moment and to attempt to prevent Mist from getting allies which would ultimately mean our doom...” He murmured as he sighed and ruffled his hair a little bit, shaking his head before stuffing his hands in his pockets and then looking to the two girls which stood there and smiled a little bit at them.

“However, I would say that it might not be a bad idea to actually start sparring in case we run into any sticky situations when we are dispatched somewhere... after all there are rogue ninjas, and possible bandits and such of the nature along the way to other villages....” He murmured and nodded faintly, crossing his arms over his chest and then looked over to Ren as she spoke in a rather cold voice,

“I don’t know about you two but when I fight I aim to kill so I doubt that it would be a good idea to spar with me so I suggest that you two have at it unless one of you would like a new teammate.” She comments and a sadist smile crawled onto her pale pink, blue tinted lips and the fact that you couldn’t see her eyes hidden behind the black cloth backed hitiate made it even more frightening than it would have been could you see her eyes... even if they were something disturbing like the Byakugen or something, it probably wouldn’t have been as bad.

Tensing faintly the male of the team soon managed to brush it off though and smiled very faintly at her. “Alright... well then Shizuka, what do you say to a sparring match?” He asked as he glanced to her, smiling and his one eye that was visible closing and curving upward like a smile itself as he inquired about the simple sparring match.

SHIZUNA l Training Grounds 5

Shizuna waited for a reply and was plesantly surprised when Ren'ai answered “Most Jounin are being kept in Konoha and being prepared for front line battle or to be sent out in search of allies and people who will help us in the war... therefore we are probably being given about a week to train and get accustomed to each other and how to work together in an effect manner as a team. It made a lot of sense. Shizuka didn't mind either way, they could put her on the front lines, or put her up in a peace talk, either way she had been trained for both. Her Sensei had been avid on making sure she was ready for everything.

“I would say that she is most likely right Shizuka... most likely we’ll be more of a deployment team who is supposed to go and try to make some more allies since we don’t really any at the moment and to attempt to prevent Mist from getting allies which would ultimately mean our doom...”

Kakashi agreed and Shizuka nodded, and before she could reply Ren'ai cut in again, “I don’t know about you two but when I fight I aim to kill so I doubt that it would be a good idea to spar with me so I suggest that you two have at it unless one of you would like a new teammate.” this sent shivveres down Shizuka's spine... Does this girl always have to act negative? Maybe it's just a front but still, Shizuka just wants to get to know her team mate, trust or no trust this girl was freaking her out more in real life than the stories she had heard.

Finally Kakashi cut the silence, “Alright... well then Shizuka, what do you say to a sparring match?"

Shizuka's heart jumped for reason's unknown to her. Well she knew why, she was going to be sparring the great Hatake Kakashi.

"Sure!" she said turning away to walk to the middle of the training grounds, she didn't take a stance she just looked at kakashi and nodded for him to start.

As the other two seemed to be readying to content themselves with a sparring match the last of them, Ren, just turned her back to them and headed further into the shade which she hid in. Dropping herself down to the base of a tree she folded her arms over her chest as she closed her eyes and sighed softly, a bit of mist [or at least that was the best way to describe it] was produced from her lips because of her highly unnatural body temperature which was so unsightly low.

Ren... she was such an odd one, and she allowed herself to be consumed in thought as she sat there playing with bits of her unusual hair... It began an icy blue color that as it got further from her scalp began to lighten until it was a pure snow white. It wasn’t all too long though, it all fell to about her collar bone, messy but in an odd manner that made it seem orderly... but that was alright with her. Due to it’s messy nature though it looked shorter than it truly was, aside from in the front. In the back though there were two rather long braids, wrapped in black bandaging that stood out in stark contrast to the white which the tassel like ends were colored. Indeed unusual most people would say.

None the less though she seemed to calm and relax, consumed in her thoughts as she waited for the day to waste away as Kakashi and Shizuka sparred.

Kakashi just stood on his side of the field and waited for Shizuka to get ready... and once she had he grinned a bit from behind his mask at her nod. Nodding as well he rushed at her, producing two kunai from his pouches with remarkable speed as he rushed towards her.

His tactics may have seemed obvious, like he was going for a blatant headfirst attack but of course, this was Kakashi... he didn’t do the things that people expected. He always did things in a round about way, or more so a way in which nobody would predict. He wasn’t a straight forward person when it came to fighting, he always played his card with a good bluff and a straight face the whole time so to say.

SHIZUNA l Training Grounds 5

Kakashi shifted slightly and smiled a little bit signaling that he too was ready. Then he began to launch for her. Shizuna stood her ground allowing chakara to course though every little bit of matter in her body. If kakashi used Sharingan to watch her moves he would only see chakara coursing though her body... even the Hyuga couldn't tell that something important was going on inside her.

She concentrated easily lifting her hands to form a quick seal that would allow her to stay in this state throughout an entire battle. He Keelia-genkai allows her to manipulate matter, including that of her own body. Though it requires absolutely no seals to manipulate the matter, if she wishes to hold a state she must make only one seal, and it can be different each time.

She smiled as Kakashi came closer. The molecules that made up her body were now charged with chakara and seperated just so that anything would pass right though her causing no harm to her body. She waited to see what Kakashi would do about this.

Of course Kakashi wasn’t going to whip out his Sharingan yet... no no, there was no need for that... at least not in his mind. He didn’t know that there really wasn’t and that he wasn’t going to get anywhere if he attempted to use it. It just preserved some energy for him though that he could focus else where into attacks and such which would probably help quite a bit.

However, Kakashi disappeared from sight during his lunge, and soon there was a fizzling sound. At that sound finally Ren looked up, around for a moment and the got up and did the smart thing - she moved farther away from the battle that was taking place and further into the cool shade that felt so nice to her. About as soon as she sat herself back down there was the sound of a loud explosion.

Kakashi had thrown an explosive kunai in Shizuka’s direction before disappearing... it of course went off despite where it landed... for now, Kakashi was just doing random things to create reactions, to see what would happen when he did this or that. He was observing, gathering data and info on his ‘opponent’... after all, knowing was half the battle was it not?

Shizuka watched as Kakashi disappeared, she had heard that he was known to asses his appointment before making an offensive move. From somewhere behind her an exploding Kunai flew at her and she indifferently allowed it to pass though her. It blew up somewhere else. Shizuka ventured to assume that Kakashi had already moved his position so she began to work on the trees. Slowly hardening their molecules to a point where every foot fall on their branches would be loud. She could hear Kakashi's progression and began to make signs for water Justus which she sent in his direction...

Her eyes had become a pale green color as she stared intently at the position she assumed Kakashi was in... or at least where his footsteps were.

The water jutsus made contact with their target, but it toppled out of the tree with a puff of smoke... a clone. Suddenly, there was a kunai placed to her throat, "Hm... your abilities are very interesting, Shizuka-chan. I take it that this is your kekkai genkai?" He questioned, on eye watching her... after all, he could already tell that he wouldn't be able to imitate the moves that she was using. Well, at least not most of them anyways. Those water jutsus he would have been able to imitate easily, but everything else was far beyond his reach.

"Things phase through you... though I can't honestly tell what that shift of eye color is supposed to indicate... is that a tell tale sign of the use of your specific abilities?" He asked curiously, his one visible eyebrow raising in a show of curiosity.

Shizuka gasped a little as she felt the cool metal of Kakashi's kunai against her throat.

"Hm... your abilities are very interesting, Shizuka-chan. I take it that this is your kekkai genkai?"

"mmm" Shizuka nodded slightly against the kunai. Kakashi was so close to her, their bodies were practically touching.

"Things phase through you... though I can't honestly tell what that shift of eye color is supposed to indicate... is that a tell tale sign of the use of your specific abilities?" Kakashi inquired with curiosity.

"It is just something that comes with my genetics." she replied simply. She allowed her body to slip though the kuni and turned to face Kakshi. She smiled at him a little, "I won't lie, this comes in handy some." She held out her hand to shake his with a girn on her face.

Kakashi seemed a little more than surprised when she phased through his kunai... even if he knew that she could so such a thing now, it still caught him off guard. Nodding to her replies though he smiled behind his mask and put away his kunai as his eye turned into a crescent, as if it were a smile itself.

Taking her hand he shook it lightly. "I can imagine that it does... I don't see where you get that you aren't that strong or anything... with an ability like that, you're practically untouchable." He stated with a nod, though a sound to the side caught his attention suddenly.

Being careful about how she got down, Ren had slipped out of the tree which she had settled herself in, and now stood on the ground with them. She had been analyzing and examining the battle the whole time... however it was that she did that, since she couldn't see with her hitiate over her eyes. None the less, she seemed to be aware of the outcome of the battle and that it was over as she stood there with arms folded over her chest.

"So, how much longer do you two intend to stay together and 'discuss' or 'spar' today?" She questioned, clearly bored and just wanting to go home if she could... she didn't like people, and she had somewhere that she had to be to meet someone later that night... A certain Akatsuki affiliated puppeteer from Sunagakure who she was loyal to, along with the organization 'Akatsuki' itself.

SASORI l Outside Konoha

Sasori grinned at the thought of the girl he was meeting later that night. She was scary to say the least, and he liked that. He was hiding in disguise at a little in just outside Konoha. His ring and purple fingernails were the only things that marked him as part of the Akatsuki.

"Hmmmmm" he sighed cracking his fingers. He was not in his normal puppet suit, he was young with flaming red hair, and pretty good looking if he did say so himself. Though he didn't really care about that normal stuff anymore. He had his own goals now.

He turned to stare out the window. Only a few more hours and then he would have her at his side for a while and when he left he would have new information about Konoha and a specific team that might be able to stop the Akatsuki all together.

Ren'ai spoke from somewhere, Shizuka wasn't really paying attention to her.

"Kakshi-san, are we dismissed?" she asked politely.
