uhmm..can you guys help me..this past few days..i have downloading problems with some files in megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire and other file sharing sites..when i download my speed is like 5-10kbps..whereas before it reaches up to 78kbps... but somehow..when i download ONLY music here in gendou..the my download speed is normal... my point is..what's wrong with that unusual download speed??  |

Your question might be re-stated: What is right about gendou.com's speeds? The answer is, my servers are fast, cause I pay for fast servers!

Maybe it's your slow internet? Was 78kb/s the "normal" speed for you?

There could also be other factors such as your router, cable modem or dsl modem. If you're using wireless, you might want to see if there's anyone else tapping onto your network or check the distance. You might also want to try to shut down your router and modems for five minutes and then power them back on if you just leave them on 24/7. It can also be your router settings if you're using one. Also, are you the only person using the internet or are there other computers connected? I had similar problems with my connection a few months back where it was really crawling. And in my case it was my 4 years old cable modem. Replaced that bugger with a new one and I'm back in action :p |

@gendou: well uhmm..when i download music here in gendou, my speed is maxing at 90kbps..but when i download anime HERE in gendou..my speed is like crawling at 10kbps..what's that supposed to mean?? @da: yup..78kbps is normal for me..and I'm contented with that.. @kay: I'm using a 1 and half dsl modem..which had no problems until a week ago..and after that..my internet seems to be slowing down..i don't really know where to start..usually my internet is maxing up to 100kbps at night time when i download..but now..even at night i can't get a decent speed.. |

You'll notice that you download anime from animesheep.com, not gendou.com.

Nope, separate servers: gendou.com/205.196.217.230, animesheep.com/66.90.109.12 I answered your question with my first post! Q: what's wrong with that unusual download speed? A: Nothing. Speeds vary by limits set on the server side.

if i'm correct, yeah. it depends on the server, but if it's still slow, then it's your computer that has a problem. |
