..w h e r e s..m y..a n g e l.. ..I need someone here tonight.. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ..p l o t.. Dead.... But how could it be? The youngest captain of the Royal Celestian Guard was sentenced to imprisonment for the murder of his Captain-Commander. It was all just a misunderstanding, wasn't it? Or perhaps it was conspired by someone who really doesn't like the Rytas bloodline and the seeming perfection it has. Of course, Dynen Rytas can't let his own death go — there's something going on behind the scenes, and he's going to figure it out, no matter what. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ..s u m m a r y.. So basically, it's a year after Dynen's death, and he's been watching with his guardian angel at his side. He notices that one of the members of the court is acting a little strangely, and finds out that his death was no mistake. Of course, he's got to go and figure it out, right? So, some things you should know: This RPG takes place in my fantasy world, Solantra, in a city called Celes. It's made completely of ivory stone, and it built on the mountains. Ever seen Lord of the Rings? Think Minas Tirith in Gondor. Here's how the politics work in Celes, like a combined Monarchy and Democracy (is there a name for that?). The city is always ruled by a King; women rulers are strictly forbidden as it is seen unholy. The King always has one successor, blood relations or not, and that successor has one back-up in the case that he cannot take the throne. If all three are somehow incapable of recieving the throne, then the men of the court are voted upon by the people of Celes to be the new King. That King then chooses his successor, and so on, and so forth. The Royal Celestian Court is made up of Seven Seats, each run by the oldest son or daughter (fifteen and over) of each noble family until voting seasons when the Head of the Family takes up the seat. If no Head is available, then the eldest daughter may marry before the vote and her husband will take the seat. During wartimes, the Court is always run completely by women as noble men are expected to go out and fight. The Army is made up of four levels, the Royal Celestian Guard being the highest and most important. The members of the RCG are the most powerful army figures in Celes, and are revered by everyone. The top two ranks, Captain and Lieutenant are two of the six most absolute powerful people in the entire city, these being (in order of power): The King The King's Immediate Successor The Captain-General of the Army The Leitenant-General of the Army The Captain of the RCG The Lieutenant of the RCG The Death System works a little differently, too. The three worlds are called The Below, The Middle, and The Above (more commonly known as Hell, Earth, and Heaven to us). When a person dies, they are transported to an In-Between called Haven, which humans are unaware of. Here, they meet their guardian angel, and are assessed based on actions on whether they go to The Above or The Below. If they end up in The Below, their respective angel is sucked into darkness and has its wings ripped off, forcing it to become a demon. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ..r u l e s.. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ..r o l e s.. However, when he came of age — that is, turned fifteen — he decided he wanted to join the army, and devoted all his time and energy to it. Before long, he had acheived the rank of Captain in the RCG, and was known as the youngest to ever reach this point, at only seventeen. During the Boundary Dispute between Mountain Country and Lower Winter Country, Dynen ended the life of his suffering Captain-General, and was imprisoned for High Treason against the Celestian Army. Only a month after his incarceration, he died, and has been living for the past year quite comfortably with his guardian angel.] [Has his lip pierced on the left side, along with both ears and his belly button. ]  ..xXx.. ..d i o n y s i s..k i e v.. At the age of eighteen, he became the Leiutenant of the RCG, and was soon joined by Dynen as his captain, a few years later. [Bio] He and his family were barely holding on to being nobles. When he was 4 his parents were assasinated leaving only him and his feternal twin brother. They still had their parent's money and got jobs. When he got older he wanted to be in the RCG, but the RCC kept him back even though he's strong enough to join. [Other]Only uses his fist to fight. His name means "destruction" and he was given that name for the destruction he causes when he fights. [appearance]Long brown hair,green eyes, and average height. He usually wears black pants,a shirt,and a long trench coat that goes to his ankles. He a piercing in his right ear. Wears gloves on hands. ..:xXx:.. I'm going to take Celandine Rytas, I'll post my profile when I finish my home work :) EDIT: Here is my profile!!! :) [Age] 19 [Gender] Female [Role] 7th Seat [Personality] Celandine is an intelligent but quiet young girl. She is sweet and well manured but somewhat rebellious in her own way. Since her brother's death she hasn't talked to many people at all and limited her interactions to only her closest friends. [Bio] She grew up with her brother attending all the same tutoring sessions and then some. She was very close to her twin and when he decided to go into the military she supported him with all her heart. She has since held the seventh seat. [Other] She has a small cross tattooed on the base her back and the kanji character for happiness on her left hip. [A/U] [Male] [Dynen Rytas's Guardian Angel] [Jace is very sweet and kind. He can be bubbly sometimes, especially towards Dynen. sometimes he takes jokes and taunts too seriously and can be clueless sometimes, but he is very knowledgeable when it comes down to it and all around a good angel] [Jace had always watched out for Dynen before his death at any turn he could. although it saddened Jace when Dynen died, he was so excited to finally meet him. In the beginning he had trouble with Dynen, seeing as Dynen would have nothing to do with him. He was frightened that both of them would be lost to the Below, but somehow he managed to convince him. Since then, they've been happily together ] [He has long, mid-back length hair that is golden in color and sparkling blue eyes] [[I'll have to post a pic of him later because a teacher is watching me now]] |

Evening The Above The Above.... I don't know exaclty how to discribe it.... It's like walking through white foam, knee-deep, but never beeing weighed down. The sky above us is an everlasting cerulean blue, because we're on the highest of the clouds; so high that the sky is below us. No more stars to watch, feilds to run or ride or battle on, air to breathe, water to swim in.... Is this really Heaven? Is this really the residancy of the Gods and Goddesses? It's so... empty. Jace once told me that Heaven is what you make it; but I know now that it's not really much of anything. It wouldn't be until I had realized what I wanted. I knew; but I didn't care. Things were going on below that I didn't like, and I was determined to get to the bottom of it. Jace... where was he? I stood up from my spot laying next to a silvery pool and looked around. There was nothing to obstruct my view, so where was he? "Jace?" I couldn't help but think that I looked stupid standing there alone.... xXXx ..d i o n y s i s.. Evening Rytas Manor I was running about ten minutes late for the large banquet the Rytas's were putting on in memory of their late son, Dynen Rytas. Once a great friend of mine, the Captain — as I would always remember him — had passed away in the solitary confinement cell on this exact day, one year ago. Hence my invitation. But I was here for more than just the celebration of a very important death. Celandine Rytas, my old friend's sister, would be here. I adored the little blonde, the twin of the man that I had often visited in the off season to go over new battle stratedgies. She was beautiful, graceful, lithe and slender, always good and polite. She reminded me of a young doe, resplendant in her tremulous nature. I wanted to see her again. I hadn't been able to return to the Rytas Manor since I had delivered the news of the Captain's death last year, and it had broken my heart. From a no-name family, the Rytas's had practically adopted me when I was younger, being acknowledged as one of very few people Dynen would open up to, and I was forever in their debt. At two minutes to the formal dinner, I knocked on the large double doors, letting one of the stablehands take my horse back to the stable. I hoped I wasn't too late....

..Aeton & Abbadon.. Evening Rytas Manor I looked in front of me while I was running to the big doors of Rytas Manor. Aeton was still in front of me. We always had competetive spirits and so we decided to race each other. It wasn't the smartest decision. Aeton stopped running when we got inside the huge house,but I didn't and I ran into a tall man with black hair. "Sorry sir,I didn't mean to."

[Cid Raines|Evening|Raines Manor] Cid sat infront of a roaring fire while reading some paperwork.It had been a tough day for him.Everything was quiet when he closed his eyes.Slowly and discreetly,he reached for a knife on the table infront of him. Then quick as lightning,grabbed the hilt and threw the knife with dead accuracy towards the door as the door opened. "I told you to knock,didn't I?" Cid said as he opened his eyes and looked at the soldier that was white as snow. "Sorry,sir...but ugent news demand.." he was starting to say but Cid cut him off. "Urgent News,you say? It better be,seeing as you disturbed me" Cid said as he raised and eyebrow and looked at the soldier. To be continued... |

Evening Rytas Manor Though born to a lower-classed family, being the Captain-Commander of the Royal Celestian Army, I was required to know the names and faces of each of the Seven seat holders; though since the Adaire twins had taken up their seats, I'd had to remember one extra. Not that it particularly angered me. What's one more right? Besides, they were good boys; one had committed them to memory at their first meeting. And this definitely would be the first meeting. I remembered at my own coronation into the rank of Captain-Commander, only a few months ago, an occassion requiring the attendence of all seven (or... eight...) seat holders. And then, a year ago... the funeral of Captain Rytas, regrettably also an occassion requiring their prescence. I turned slowly, a little surprized by the sudden jolt. I frowned slightly, crossing my arms. "You know, there really is no excuse for this, young Lord."

[Cid Raines||Evening||Raines Manor] Cid was standing infront of the window with some papers in his hand.It was starting to rain in their part of the town. Cid sighed as he read the news for a third time.He closed his eyes and looked at the soldier that was still in his room. "Does anybody else know of this?" Cid asked as he went towards the fireplace. "No,sir.I made sure of it." the soldier said to Cid. "Do you know the contents of this letter?" Cid asked as he went towards the Soldier and showed him the papers. "No sir." Cid studied him for a while and saw that he was being Honest. "Well,you are an Honest and Brave man,aren't you?" he said to him and retrieved the Knife that was still sticking to his wall. "Very well.." Cid said as he went back to the fire and threw the letter in the roaring flames. "Now it is time to do put the order into action." he said as he got his cloak and motioned the Soldier to follow him outside. To be continued... |

CELANDINE RYTAS l Rytas Manor Celandine finished brushing her hair and fixing her long black gown. She sighed as she surveyed herself in the mirror. It had been a year since her brother's death and she had yet to smile genuinely. He would want her to be happy though, and she knew that her strange state of depression probably had her brother worried somewhere up in heaven. She forced a small smile at the mirror and then turned to join the rest of her family in the banquet hall. Her long blond hair was left to fall to her elbows, a few small braids twisted themselves around her head and kept a few small jewels in place. Her dress pooled around her feet and trailed on the steps behind her. It was strapless and laced up in the back. The skirt was puffy and came in to meet her wide hips and thin waist. She smiled as she joined the crowd and waited for someone she knew to come greet her. |

Evening The Above I was quite relaxed in my own spot when I heard Dynen's call. "Dynen? I'm over here" I said, standing up smiling sweetly at him. I was only a few meters away, thats how it always was. Besides, sometimes even The Above isn't to be trusted. I walked over to him slowly, the misty foam swirling around my knees as I walked. This place was so empty and vast... I didn't like it myself but I had to make the best of it. I was glad to have Dynen with me. With him here I was no longer lonely in this blank place. But his absence seems to have made an opening for trouble in The Middle... "I'm never to far, Dynen" I said, smiling again, coming up to stand beside him. Now we both looked stupid standing there. |

Evening The Above "Figures you'd be hiding, you jerk," I hissed, crossing my arms almost brattily. I wore the expression of a soaked mop, a very common look on my Father's half of the family. I almost always used to wear it; but with someone like Jace, I knew I was able to smile legitimately now. "You're never around when I need you, you know that?" xXXx ..d i o n y s i s.. Evening Rytas Manor I stared at the brothers almost blankly.... "I-I'm Captain-Commander Dionysis Kiev...." I couldn't believe they didn't know who I was.... I hung my head slightly. Maybe I really did need to get out more. It didn't really matter, anyway. I was only really here to see Celandine, anyway. No, that's a lie. It definitely mattered to me, and I hoped that it would mysteriously dawn on them and they'd feel bad, or something, because I had honestly never encountered this. They were young anyway, most likely focusing on matters more suited to their own minds, and it made me smile.
