Okay, I just wanna know, I've read rumors on the net that Kimi ni Todoke will be made into a live action film. I wouldn't know the real thing, but I wanna ask the people in the forums if this is true? And if it's a good thing or a bad one, considering that Kimi ni Todoke was the top 3 in a list of titles that readers want to have a live adaptation for. |

ANN says it's already been green lit, but no further news about it has been released since February yet. This anime is a bit underrated, or under watched. It's insanely good and has been my favorite title since it's television release. Haven't read the manga personally, but it apparently did really well, too. The live action can totally be awesome because it can be considered a drama, which would be easier to make. I would totally love to see a live-action of this series, being it's my favorite series and a really good title. ------- |

@DA >I'm glad to read that there are people who love it too! XD You know, Kimi ni Todoke's mangas are slways in the top 10 ranking. It's 4th volume debuted in second place, the 5th volume debuted at number 1 and many others. I've read that both the 8th and 9th volumes are part of the top 25 best-selling mangas in Japan for the year 2009! Awesome nee? o.O And the anime is super great! I love it sooo much! XD |

Yeah it's totally underrated. The manga won two manga awards, forget the names, in the same year which are prestiged good awards, too. The pace slowed down a bit when they only focused on Chizu's love arc, but it still remained consistent overall. I'm also glad it was a 20+ episode season, too, since people know how bad I hate those short 12-14 ones. If I see more info about the live-action, I'll relay my search results, but yeah it's totally going to be awesome. I saw the live-cast who did the actual anime, you gotta check that out if you didn't. The girl who did Sawako is really cute, and is almost like a live Sawako herself. They act similar. :3 ------- |

They do?? Wow! I'll search them! XD Now I can't wait for the live action.. XD I'm thinking that the anime is a bit too short, but I hope they would release a season 2 real soon! I heard that the anime will end next week, episode 25 entitled; "New Year" DX. I really hope a season 2 will come up if ever the show won't get extended.. It's a shame that Kimi ni Todoke is connsidered as underrated.. DX [EDIT] I just saw the main lead; Kazehaya and Sawako.. played by Seto Koji and Aragaki Yui respectively right? I don't know those actors but I have to agree with you, Yui does look like Sawako! XD |

It depends how it ends, maybe with Kazehaya finally confessing but the manga potrayed it differently I believe. Here's what I meant with the anime cast though: ------- |

You do know Kurumi was voiced by one of my favorites, Hirano Aya. It seems there's only the lead cast videos though, I'd like to see Chizu or Ryu. XD Speaking of this, the anime had a really good seiyu cast. ------- |

Since Kazehaya hasn't confessed, they'll be a second season (hopefully not short OVA releases, that won't work for me). A few series are getting immediate attention to second seasons and whatnot though, so it's possible if popular enough, to get another season. The series seemed to have a good production budget (expanding to 20+ episodes for example), but it's so good though. Sawako's seiyu should win best female seiyu of 2009 though, so awesome. The final episode was a nice wrap up. They ended it nicely, but yeah I have feeling there's another season. They ended it as if there is going to be another season, or more episodes or something, but yeah I'd prefer another season cause it'd be better. No way they're crumbling his confession into a short episode. Hope someone subs the film and releases it, but yeah let's wait a bit to see if there's more news about it. During the entire season, I took a bunch of really good screen shots that I was going to feature onto my profile. Just a substitution until I get my new profile underway. Expect it sometime this Summer. >:3 ------- |

DA, I'll be expecting those in your profile.. XD And no to OVAs. That won't work, definitely. It will just turn out like NEGIMA! if they'd do that, and that will distort the original feel that the fans had during the anime air. After watching the final episode, I rewatched the series in it's episodes 4-6, (the ones with those rumors with Yano and Chizu speading) since those episodes really made me sad.. Haha. I think Sawako's seiryuu is named Noto Mamiko, and if I recall, her characters are always the quiet/mysterious type, like; Miyazaki Nodoka (NEGIMA!), Tsukamoto Yakumo (School Rumble) and Nogizaka Haruka (Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu) [No, I didn't searched those.. XD]. And I agree with DA, she made a very fantastic job of bringing Sawako to life.. XD |

Maybe the earlier Negima! OVAs, then the other ones actually took place at parts in the manga. If they'd make one for the series, it'd be like, a Beach episode or something like that, but still stay within terms. I trust the production crew a lot, they'd make anything and it'd still be good to the series, so no worries. You're right, she did the same voice for Haruka, who I also love. Clearly a resemblance there. Here's some of the screens I took, just some from the last episode anyways, the others are cool, too: ------- |
