Genesis: The Elites  In ancient times when humans have just mastered the art of classical weaponry, great fights broke out as each weapon strived to be the best, to prove all their efforts, to show everyone the might of their art. Amidst the chaos and havoc, the Council decided to elect someone to put everything under control and a grand competition was held to choose an Etolie. The Etolie will be the best among the best, the winner of the competition, and he or she will be put in charge of keeping these fights under control. The first Etolie introduced the concept of Associations, where he appointed the most skilled person of each weapon as the masters of the Associations, in hope that the masters are able to breed a new group of students capable of being the next Etolie when the time is ripe. For he, as the Etolie, had to pass on the responsibility as well as his skills to his junior… But will he be able to find the best candidate? Note to players: -You can have a maximum of 3 characters in this RP -You can have around 2-6 special abilities -Do not control other people’s character -No god-modding or whatsoever in this RP, as stated in the rules of the RPs of Gendou City -Please post more than a sentence (Don’t just say one line and stop there…) -Please also post the place and time eg: [XXX Building , 8.45pm] -Romance is fine, but please keep it PG 13 -Most of all, HAVE FUN and come up with interesting twists!!! The co-owners of this thread : Tsubaki and Janesy will be the current Etolie. This thread will probably end when the new Etolie has been elected, and the new Etolie can choose to start their own thread again using this system or maybe not. So, just for it to be more interesting, we will add in interruptions (or interesting things) when the time is right to give the story a little twist (including the election of the new Etolie through the competition). Roles available: Masters of the Associations: There is a maximum number of 5 Associations, each focusing on one weapon. There will be 5 masters in this RP. Masters have the freedom of how you want to control your Association. Eg. Someone wants to join your Association, you can put him through whatever test you want (not too extreme tests please…). You also have the right to choose the best candidate in your Association to compete for the Etolie place. Students of the Associations: There will be NO LIMITS for this section. If you want to be a student, you can choose which weapon you prefer. Other characters: These are MINOR characters that you think will be needed for more than once in the RP. For example a blacksmith or a weapon trader. This should be considered only as your 3rd character and it is entirely OPTIONAL since it is not really THAT important. Of course, you will not have any special powers/abilities. You will just be a normal human. Please also submit a bio for this character if you want it as your 3rd character. The Biography Sheet is as follow: -Name: -Age: (please make sure you are at least old enough to lift your weapon) -Gender: -Weapons: (Do not use modern weapons like guns or high tech devices. Keep it to Sword, Bow, Spear/Lance, Dagger/Knife and maybe others) -Abilities: (2-6) -Location: (Where you are from. The main town is called Yzar, but you can come up with new villages. Eg. -Name:Rolf Halfhearted -Age: 15 -Gender:Male -Weapons: --1 lance --10 knives, throwing -Abilities: --Skillful Lance: Rolf is very good at wielding a lance. --Swift Knife: Rolf can ready a throwing knife and throw it from hip level or shoulder level in slightly over a second. --Watch and Learn: Rolf can carefully observe an opponent's fighting style and adapt to it. --Underhanded Backhand: Rolf can attack with an off hand when using his lance in his main hand. (He's right-handed.) -Location: Yzar -Role: Student of the Lance Association -Bio: He was an orphan who was abandoned by his father for reasons unknown. The Lance Association took him in and trained him as one of their own, training him in the art of fighting with a lance. (He learned to throw knives on his own.) He proved to be a genius, and was almost unanimously elected as the Lance Association's representative. Now, they expect him to become the Etoile, but Rolf is unsure if he can do so. -Appearance: Dark hair, indeterminate shade. Pale skin. Dark eyes, indeterminate shade. Dresses in practical leathers.

-Name: Nalvene Kranz -Age: 17 -Gender: Female -Weapons: Sword -Abilities: Sharp Precision: allows her to have perfect accuracy unless she is injured or ill Flash Blade: a slash so fast that the opponent will only see a flash of the sword Arc of the Demon: a deadly slash that never fails to hit the target -Location: Claudia Village, North-East of Yzar -Role: Master of the Sword Association -Bio: Nalvene was a child of a warrior. Her father fought hard during the Battle of Hell just before the new Etolie was elected. Trained hard by her father to master her sword skills, Nalvene is considered a prodigy when using her sword. She participated in the competition for the position of the Etolie, and though she was not the winner, she managed to surpass her previous sword skills. The new Etolie elected her as the Master of the Sword Association and she had been nurturing new talents ever since. -Appearance:
