xp is here with ur question for the week. What makes you watch anime?.Does it make u happy?. Does it make u hyped?. Does it put you in your own fantasy world. Does it help you in your everyday life. Does it teach you lessons?. Also same question for you manga fans. What makes you read manga?

boreness in my life. and yes, sometimes it makes me happy but if it's a sad anime/manga then it makes me sad, so that's also bad. the only thing that makes me hyped is all the hot guys! my fantasy world would be in a world with all......i'm not going to even start^.^! and yeah some of the morals and lessons teach me some. and i read manga because i feel like it! i just think that anime/manga artists and creators are really cool people! i really admire their talent. especially when it comes to mystery ones like Spiral! does that answer your question? hehe -RoSe  |

| I watch anime because I simply like the shows...it's something that I can't explain. ^_^ Then again, I think what makes me watch anime also is it teaches me to imagine things - much more with reading manga - and I get to apply what I have learned in studying literature to anime. Besides, anime is a work of art, right? ^_^ |

Just like asking someone why he/she reads, or watches tv, plays games, etc. It's a form of entertainment like any other... But I find it more interesting than most, so I watch anime, and read manga. |

What makes you watch anime? Because... i enjoy anime, quite frankly. Does it make u happy? Yes Does it make u hyped? Yes Does it put you in your own fantasy world? Yes Does it help you in your everyday life? Yes Does it teach you lessons? Yes (well im getting the general feeling of 'yes' right here) What makes you read manga? I dun know, some mangas good, others are utter $^&@! its the manga that doesnt become anime, so really an extension of the anime world you might say.

Anime...I can't explain how I feel from watching it. It does make me happy, but sad too. Anime does help me with my everydaly life. Anime does teach morals...and it does put me in a strange fantasy world, which helps my imagination (hopefully). I usually get hyped from Anime. Anime was the thing that made me learn Japanese so I'm happy I watched Adult Swim that night ^-^. But the main reason I watch it is because its very fun to watch...and the reason I read Manga is the same.  |

Well, it depends on the anime When the anime has a deep, confusing plot, it makes exercises my brain. It drives my curiousity nutz. Also, very determined to guess the final outcome. On the contrary, if it has s a funny story, then it'll make me laugh. There's no telling why. Each differs one another.

As with all forms of entertainment, there are people who like it, people who love it, and people who hate it, and people who loathe it, to the point of outright hating anyone who likes it. As for me, anime is a window into a world where anything's possible. Anime is simply drawn animation, in a style and form that is as standard to the fans as to the animators, with storylines that, born from the psyche of Japanese folklore, modern thinking, and interpretations of possible futures or pasts, with the nearly-trademarked stylish action and drama we see in anime nowadays. No matter what kind of anime it may be, from mecha, to fantasy, anime is another form of animated entertainment that has grown beyond the sum of it's parts, reaching deeper, and evolving beyond what the first fans and creators would have imagined, as not only the TV is the stage of anime. It has reached into the silver screen, and onto our very own computer monitors, as different media, and different forms of entertainment. It still has semblance to the original, from whence it was borne from inspiration: anime (post does not necessarily stand as factual and are only opinions of the poster) |

I do it because I can. Asides from which, the comedy-driven animes are my favorite, because I'm a big fan of wacky comedy that involves plenty of slapstick and awkward situations. Then again, I don't have the attention span for some of the more involved story-driven animes. Also, I treat anime like I treat all other media. Anime, movies, whatever, it's all entertainment to me. |

It is what I enjoy. It gives me all different emotions, it is a freedom unlike any other. Anime's possibility's are endless.

What makes me watch anime is I like the animation style, the storyline, the characters personalities, and the music is what really attracts me to the anime or a combination of all the above. To answer the other quesitons: ============================= Does it make u happy? Yes Does it make u hyped? Yes Does it put you in your own fantasy world? Yes Does it help you in your everyday life? Yes Does it teach you lessons? Yes The reason I read manga is because some stuff in animes they don't show in the manga version.  |

What makes me watch anime is the storyline, the artstyle and the characters. I really think anime makes me happy, but I also watch gloomy anime such as grave of the fireflies...and here and there now and then. I just don't want to watch anime that are moctly CGed(in a bad way) and has no story whatsoever ( we have hentai to fit that category.)

| WHY! because I like to watch anime. I have no particular reasons. All I can say is that I just got a thing for anime. Probally because the stories are great, pictures are nice and the like. |

well i just like watching anime, no reason why, b'cause i don't know why, i just like it ... hmmm ... i think ... i like the characters (especially the girls characters) in anime. ... watching anime make me relax, it's funny to see some craziest characters in anime make fun with the others, ... will refresh my brain ^_^ love anime, anime 4ever :D |

i dont know but i think you either watch anime (or read manga's ) or you dont. You just become to like it or love it, kinda like a lifestyle. for me , the storylines and the world its created in , the characters and their developments, the twist and plots, the cultural and mythical influences, the history ,the animation (drawings exct.) I just fell into it that all when i was watching the first anime and kept on watching it :) And seekfaith is right. In my opinion, Anime is the best type of animation out there and probably (if not allready) the #1 most watched. I think this is because of that it contains and what animations from other countries lack. those have pretty much straight forward storylines and blunt characters with no development. But even they are trying to bring in an anime style into they're own series lol. |

it makes me happy to watch anime. i watch anime becuz, it's amusing, and i love the pictures and how the story blends it. |
