Unusual Download Issues

Hello there! I've downloaded many a song from the site before, but today when I tried to download a song, for some reason I was unable to do so. It didn't simply fail either. What happens is the download progress of the song instantly jumps to 1.2mbs out of whatever the full size is, and then the download speed shoots down to something around 1kb/sec, or so the browser tells me. I am using a Mac, and I tried both Firefox and Safari. I do not use any download accelerators or anything. The original song I was after was an older song, so I tried one of the most recent songs on the download list as well, same exact issue. Basically, I'm baffled. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance! EDIT: Left the download up, it IS in fact downloading. Just at the advertised average speed of about 1.5 KB/sec...

The internet seems to be working just fine. Ran a speed test at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and got 12851 kbps down and 3614 up. I have not noticed any issues with my connection as a whole. I am not using wireless either. EDIT: Ok, now EVERYTHING on the internet is slow, not sure what was up before but something is definitely wrong now with my connection... EDIT of EDIT: Everything, including downloads from Gendou, is now up and running. I do not know what is going on, but it must be on my end. Sorry to be a bother.
