Stereopony anyone?

Stereopony's a J-Rock band jammed by 3 pretty girls...i mean 3 female musicians(>.<). They're pretty young, with the lead vocalist and drummer being 20 years old this year while the basist being 21 years old. =D Aimi- Lead Guitar/ Lead Vocalist Nohana- Basist Shiho-Drummer The trio has performed many songs for animes like the renowned Bleach's 17th ending song(Hitohira no Hanabira) and the all-popular intriguing Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini's theme song(Tsukiakari no Michishirube). Stereopony also performed Gundam 00 second season's theme song(Namida no Muko) Through my years of experience wif music, I'd say Stereopony izzen exactly the best band out there but i thought that its a pretty awesome band.. =D. Well, Music speaks louder than words, enjoy~ (btw Aimi looks soo cute when she had short hair >.<) Tsukiakari no Michishirube Namida no Muko

"Namida no Muko" is my current ringtone, and not some cheesy Midi either. Reason why is because the intro is so perfect, it's right into the opening lyrics. Haven't figured out how to cut and chop my own piece to make my ringtones, but my ringtones are pretty much just actual .mp3 files I transfer over, lol. More on the band, they're very, very young, career, and yeah age wise I suppose, too. They only have one album (which I need to re-dL), so yeah they're off to a good start. I respect trio bands so so much, having three members can be difficult, but these three chicks make it work and I hope to hear great stuff in the near future. And a few all girl groups are getting more recognized now, so watch out guys. And yeah, don't hide it, these three are very pretty. Aimi in the Namida no Muko video singing on that mic is just saying "come get me" with those eyes. :P

Oh you didn't have to, since I already had the song, but thanks anyways. And yeah, they only have one album released so far, a full album. Everything else, they only have a few singles released, and those are really considered 'singles'. The album reached #2 on Oricon, so if they stay creative, they might create a new album soon.

I find that they're more of a mainstream group. Kinda like the usual punk rock you hear here in America/Canada. I guess I, personally, wouldn't be too attached to the group after being exposed to that kind of music over and over again. Though I really don't understand the difference between this rock and American rock, I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could explain what makes this artist so appealing (besides from the fact they're pretty girls)? Maybe because its cause of the amount of air time they get from being the opening of super popular animes?

Dude, it's Stereopony. Hmm. The songs are pretty awesome. My current favourite is "my mistake". Well. Hopefully they come out with more singles/albums. /googles. And hell yeah, Aimi does look better in short hair. *sighs* Only 6 singles released so far, if I'm right. But those amounts are considered as good enough if you try to compare it with some other bands.     |

I'd say that Stereopony and American punk rock music are two poles apart, and two rather far poles too..>.< Stereopony is J-rock. J-rock is pretty much different from american music,which i detest. I do feel that they get more widely known for their anime songs though >.< J-rock has a certain feel to it..i dont realli know how to explain it(help anyone?) but it just sounds different from american rock and metals. To me, american metals are basically screaming and shoutings -.- @Cei: sigh, just wad was Aimi thinking >.<

Ah, don't compare J-Rock to American music, and why American Metal!? Just youtube their songs, see if you like the other songs and singles. If you do then get them and enjoy your heart out. Namida no Mukou alone I listened to non-stop when I first heard it.

| I like stereopony. their songs are decent, not bad, and the first time I heard them in namida no mukou, I too like DA got kinda addicted to it and kept listening to it. And the 3 band members ARE pretty, lol |

True. Oh, c'mon. Don't compare Stereopony to american metal bands. Both of em' are different things, really, as Stereopony's songs are amazingly much more addicting compared to american metal's. And the reason of them being so appealing is that, the vocalist has a great voice. I don't think it has anything to do with beauty. Ah, at least I think so. Being able to sing for the openings of popular animes, is not something that an ordinary singer can manage, is it? Which means the vocalist's talent is already approved by many others. @ Crez: Yeah. Just wish for a new single from them now? Ah, it's Cel, btw. |

oops my bad >.<..sry Cel. and yea, another single would be great. But i'd wish for another single if they really released a new one. A man can never be satisfied >.< But i do expect a lot from them, though =D

Well they have another single releasing this year, so look out for that. As for me, I gotta re-obtain their album again since I switched over. :P

Yaheyy. Hopefully they come out with something rockish. Btw, I wonder how Aimi sounds like if she sings something R&B/hip hop-ish. Lol. Expecting a cool single from them, tho. Stereopony won't let us down, probably. |

Stereopony they are quite similar to an old band before ZONE, formed by 4 young girls which already disbanded. Aimi's voice is powerful, I heard her idol is Yui :) Tsukiakari no Michishirube and Namida no Mukou e are my fav, and their new single Hanbuko isn't bad too.  |

I only have the songs they have up here but I've been telling myself for quite sometime to get more lol. I really like Tsukiakari no Michishirube, as well as Namida no Mokuo. I really need to get into more of their releases.

Are you serious?! Now you've done it, i'm too excited to go to bed. Any idea when it will be out? I've been waiting for ages! >.< O and if possible i wish to hear some samples samples of their songs too! T_T
