Overview Okay, so I've been wanting to post this RP for a while but it took me time to organize things so that it won't get that or too messy. I've started a few RPs before but I've decided on a new kind of RP. I'm not sure if this is the first of its kind in Gendou, but hopefully it'll be a success(?). First off, all players in this RP will have their own character page in a certain wiki. Update whatever you like there but keep it logical and to the original template and timeline. I'll set up the character pages for you and well, you edit yours from there. Why go all the trouble? Well, it's so that you could recall what skills you had and how others know how your character looks like etc etc. But I'll need your e-mail so that I could add you as the page owner. Yep, just that one page... Second off, this RP requires all players to have 2 characters minimum. It'll be explain later on since this is where the juicy surprise is. So now, enough chatter and let's go~~ Synopsis The year is 2020A.D (Anno Domini), Earth's civilization was at it peak. Humanity conquered all with the power of science and technology. Peace was found when boundaries between countries are lifted and humans lived lives free of war, hunger and dieseases. All humans are treated equally as race and religion are set aside, with all looking at one another as humans. But one day, an accident occured. This event was called the Fall of Revelations. What actually happened on that day wasn't recorded, but what is known is that on that day, Magi, the art of spellcasting, was born. 1000 years later, humanity has gone back to living in the middle ages. Traces of the great civilation has slowly disappeared with time and people are now living in simplicity. While there are still relics of the past here and there, most human has no knowledge of what they are or how to use them. Humans living at these times also live in constant fears of Deplorare, monsters that feed on humans in order to survive. How they came about is unknown. People only know that they, along with Magi, appeared 1000 years ago during the Fall of Revelations. While there are no longer wars between people, there are still conflicts between humans and Deplorare. Soon, a great rumor spread that a second Fall is near. RP Style You control 2 characters, one in the year 2020AD (Anno Domini) and one in the year 1000AR (After Revelation). When posting, you'll be posting both timelines at once, but you'll need to indicate which year it's for; I recommend using horizontal rule or < hr > to break the two years. I'll bet that you're wondering why controlling two characters in two different years. I've decided to do something different for this RP. Read on under 'Things to note of' to find out more. For 1000AR only) * Type of guild member: Expositor/Pandora (only if your in a guild) * Main Weaponry: (no, no advanced weaponry! don't even ask!) * Secondary Weaponry: (no, no advanced weaponry! don't even ask!. Secondary weapon is optional) * Excel Magi: (1000AR Only) * Sub Magi: (1000AR Only) * Bio: * Skill list: (just a few simple ones first) To wrap it up That's about it! Everything else like rules and other few things can be found at the Wiki. Just ask me questions regarding the RP and I'll answer them if it's not found in the Wiki itself. Oh yea, here's the link to the wiki kept on mentioning. Another thing, I need some help getting maps for 2020AD and 1000AR. Map for 2020AD can be the current map of the earth, but for 1000AR, it needs to look similar to earth, but with some changes. PS: Thank god for the wiki...if I were to post everything here, everyone will have a headache >.> Characters: 2020AD: * Name: Abel Langley * Age: 27 * Occupation: Freelance Detective * Hometown: Slums near Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam * Main Weaponry: Last Ode (long barreled six shooter) * Secondary Weaponry: Cain * Bio: An avid weapon's collector. He lives in a two storey apartment building by himself and mostly keeps his collection on the second floor. He works as a freelance detective and well, is constantly on debt due to the lack of cases. He lives in somewhere Ho Chi Minh City's slums and the city itself. His late grandfather was invovled in the Vietnam War and settled down in the country when the war was over. Abel is quite trigger happy. Whenever he's in a fix, he'll pull out his gun and shoot without warning. Despite being rash most of the time, his ability to think outside of the box is quite exceptional... 1000AR: * Name: Viro Fineded * Age: 24 * Gender: Male * Occupation: Guide/Bodyguard for hire * Hometown: Rags Town * Guild: Rags Town Branch - Egen * Type of guild member: Expositor * Main Weaponry: Masamune * Secondary Weaponry: Murasame * Exceled Magi: Wind * Sub Magi: Wind * Bio: Viro has lived all his live in Rags (short for Ragnarok's) Town and is one of 9 members of the town's Guild, Egen. His main job is usually a hired guide or bodyguard or both to nearby destinations such as Mt. Ragnarok or the closed down Rags Mines. He even guides them to other towns as the area of Rags Town is filled with Deplorarers can be as strong as level B2. When doing guild requests, he'll generally work in pairs or threes and knows his limits. Most of the time, he'll have at least one Pandora in the group as their knowledge with Deplorares are far more superior than his own. He's quite level headed during battles but at times, can lose his cool. He's quite friendly most of the time but will usually keep to himself...or in his case, laze around at home or the guild doing nothing. Both his Excel and Sub Magi are Wind, making him one of the two Handlers in Egen. P.S.: having all the chara. sheets on a separate site. havent heard of that before, it sounds good. the profiles arent taken up the entire 1st page, and you dont hafta post one in the middle of a conversation or fight.

@Drake, hope you got your laptop^^. I can see you're really wishing for it. Well, I did had the wiki up for some time, using it mainly for AWP2 and some of Ugo's other RPs. @Icarael, Hmm, it may start out a little difficult since we're doing two timelines at one. I'll post an example before starting the RP, yea, I'll could guide along as we go. It does take some time getting use to like most RPs^^. |

@Kay: This sounds cool :D :D :D Oh btw, i saw you mentioning some ranks for the deplorares like B rank or C rank. Does that mean that there will also be ranks for the guild members?? Thanks, I'll join this. Uh, let me think up my character and finish looking through your stuff :D It's interesting :D  |

@Tsubaki, Good question. I forgot about that part XD. Well, there's no rank for guild members. Non-guild members can hunt Deplorares as well, but only those in the E rank. There are exceptions to this though. Guild members can hunt those above E ranks but there are exceptions when hunting A ranks. The only thing they do have are different classes, that is Expositors and Pandora. To make it simple, Expositors can be called hunters while Pandoras are researchers. |

As a waitress at a restaurant named “Moonlightâ€, her sub Magi comes in handy. Her sub magi has saved save her co-workers from getting scolded by their boss as she can control gravity and not let the customers orders turn into splatters on the floor or on their clothes when accidents happen. She takes the morning shift in the restaurant and at night, she goes to the guild and see if there’s anything she can do. However, when there is an emergency request from the guild which clashes with her shift, she quickly asks someone else to do her job for her and rushes off, hoping that the boss does not find out but usually he does and her she gets scolded for that. Although that is the case, seeing as she has helped them many times, her co-workers try to lighten her punishment by helping her or asking the boss or use some other ways and means to get her out of it. She only uses her excel magi on guild requests or when hunting the deplorares as there is no need for it during other occasions. She has recently learnt how to use both her magi to create some combined attacks. She is a friendly person and a brave risk-taker. She gets emotional very easily and emotions may get the better of her during battles, either making her stronger or weaker. @Tsubaki 1. For 2020AD it can be a country or a city. But for 1000AR, hmm...I need a map for that, but for now, just make up a name since the original names were lost due to time. It's not compulsory to have a hometown for 1000AR for your info. 2. Nope, none. 3. There's one guild, but with many branches. Usually one town will have one branch and each branch will have their own branch code names. I've added in my chara profile at the first post as an example. I've also added in the link to my character profile in the wiki as an example as well. |
