i played bof 1,2,3 and 4, (but when i was about to finish bof 3, some1 had stolen it from me-_-)

i think that the bof with the best story was bof 4

I've played all BOF... but I'm currently replaying BOF2. I love BOF for the one reason that the main character can transform into an ultimate being that can kick ass and chew bubble gum.

True, BOF rocks :D. I hope they will keep making them though... they are already came out with 5 a while back. Dang, that one was hard.

Thanks you guys I though I was alone here! Well I've only played 1, 2 and I own number 5 but I can't play it because I don't have a PS2>.<
That really stinks can anyone tell me were to get 3 & 4 for cheap?

i liked all the different combinations in the third one making it have a unique transformation system

I've beaten and played BOF 4 and Dragon Quarter. But I've never had the chance to play 1,2, and 3. Beating the last boss for BOF 4 is just a matter of patience (took me two hours to kill him). By the way, is there a quicker way to kill the final boss? I don't think you can kill rider. I heard that you were just supposed to steal the king's armor from him.

you can kill rider! (at least at level 89) first you have to power up your charas by 100 %speed,armor,strenght with strongest weapons(like gooking sword)
i had had ursulla, Scias and ryu in team and i had beaten him. it took me 1 hour to beat him, because he heals 20000 each round so i could at least damage him with 21230 damage. (it took me at first 10 rounds to power up my chara... then 20 rounds to kill him(healing inclusive with ryu.)
Ursulla shoul be first, second scias,third ryu.
Ursulla should have have the combo where you have to push the right buttons to do one hit (it have to be 11 hits!!!) then scias double attack combo, which does 4 combos then, and finally ryu with the same combo(learned by one of the masters, i dunno anymore).
repeat it and he should be finished.

Loved 1-4, Drgn Quarter i did not like. The Dagon% thingy became a de-facto time limit! NOT a thing to have in an RPG except for limited areas of game.
