out all the anime i did not like it weird story with flashbacks after flashbacks. but i might be weird too. also the thread i put up the other day about anime ring tones is not on here anymore ??? then i put one under other and again not there. i guess Gendou does not like the idea! huh!

the end of eva was very interesting... it didn't really confuse me at all either. since i have a friend who pretty much understands everything that happens in eva he explained the meanings of somethings that happened in the end of evangelion. and he also suggested that i watch the audio commentaries on both the end of eva and death and rebirth to get a better understanding of it myself. that actually was a lot of help... not only was the series itself very confusing but it takes lots of time for you slowly understand it and gain the knowledge of what is presented to us. yes... it's one of my faves as well!

the first part of Death and Rebirth is all about what led up to the movies cuuting out the superfluous stuff like the humor and the hijinks, even though it at times was a refreshing break from the dramatic elements. The movies were made keeping in mind the fact that some people were interested in EVA but just didn't watch the series. The movies just explain in more detail what happened at the end of the series. In some ways I think Shinji finally did something right and returned everything back to as normal as possible. But that was the beauty of EVA, it can be debated on many levels. |

The Ending Of Evangelion is a Little Confusing? I Mean Asuka Can Control The AT Field. And Mankind Suffer A Terrible Death. (Maybe I Need To Understand The Story A Little BIT. Maybe...?)

I think the ending really sucks it's like adam and eve. the only last one living was Shinji and maybe Asuka. Then the scene where he chokes her then stop is b/c he knew if she's gone he'll be alone. Like Adam and Eve. two ppl was left alive at the end of the world and they must start from there to begin new life.  |

Did u guys hear of the plans to come out with Eva 2? Interesting huh? The End of Eva was well done I think. *I'm not so sure bout Shiji masturbating over Asuka in the hospitol but whatever* The thing with End of Eva the movies was that the director and Gainax were getting a lot of heat from the Japanese public about the controversial ending to the series in episodes 25 and 26. Due to the demand for explaination, Gainax released a new version of the end and it just happened to be terribly depressing. I happened to love the story with the movie endings because it made for a catch your logic type feel to a series which most animes don't offer.

| I loved the ending, everyone who wants to come back, can, if they want it bad enough. If not, they stay in their own personal heavens. I think that's why you see Yui and Fuyutsuki together at the end. When Shinji sees Rei standing on the sea of LCL just like he did in the first episode, she's saying goodbye before she ascends to her position as the new God of the new world. |

at the end of it(the movie and the series) i was just utterly confused, and because i was borrowing it from mai friend and had to return it, i couldnt watch it over. the ending of the series end with congradulations....i found that wierd. and at the end of the movie and the whole thing. it ends up with shinji and asuka being the only 2 people still alive. mai brain hurts again.

| its about ercreating adam and eve they said and rei being the angel of death. the 18 angel or something. it was only explained to me by my friend. hope it helps. |

I think I understand everything about EVA that matters. I loved everything about it, from the series 'til the end. Mind you, there are numerous symbolisms used in the movie, an example would be the Asuka and Shinji thing. And, like you said, they're like Adam and Eve. But, if you know the myth wherein there was Lilith--- supposedly Adam's first wife(in myth), I think you could compare Lilith to Rei. It's really hard to explain in just typing words since it's a really long explanation and there may be a need for elaboration. It was hard to understand... However, here's a quick recap: Shinji was asked by Rei whether he wanted everyone to be separate (as opposed to the giant sea of orange jelly mankind becomes), and Shinji agrees it would be better to have everyone separate than one being. No matter his choice, 3rd Impact had to happen. At the end, Shinji and Asuka are the only ones still separate. If any other humans wanted to be themselves again, they apparently had to 'imagine themselves with their own heart'.
Hold Nothing: If you meet the Buddha, kill the Buddha. If you meet your ancestor, kill your ancestor. Free of everything, bound by nothing, live your life as it is.
