Check out my new (and quite silly) song: The Sock Commander. The vocals are a bit poor, I want to redo them cleaner. I welcome feedback. Since it's a bit hard to hear, here are the lyrics: The sock commands you!!! Brush your teeth and eat your peas. Take short showers, save some trees, Play nice with others, learn to share. Daily change your underwear. Go to school and learn a lot. Stay off drugs except for pot. Masturbate, but not all the time. Ignore instructions to stay in line. Religion, gangs, and cults be damned. Destiny is in your hands. The rest of it is up to you. So have your cake, and eat it, too. Flame from your adrenal glands. Do just as the sock commands! The sock commands you! Oh man, I remember when you first recorded this. Good times. As far as the song goes, I like it except for the small ticking noise. The increase in pitch every 1st beat gets to me. Other than that I like it. There's also the vocals, but you already know about that.  |

LOL, That's pretty funny ~ specially the line about masturbation, lmao. All in all I'd say it's pretty well done, as the vocals in the end are pretty good and better then the main distorted voice that sings most of it. I think it would sound really well with a less distorted voice or the same voice from the end doing the whole thing. What made you come up with this though? Rofl. |

It was a combination of alcohol, sleep deprivation, and the chat community that was the inspiration. Yeah, I'm thinking of removing the effects from the middle part and just singing it in a different voice. Maybe just a bit raspy and in my normal octave.

You could try to just get all deep during the whole middle section, and even get the special effects to come in and only slightly lower your voice and keep the same tempo ~ Like a slight effect wouldn't be bad, and you'd get the desired effect while still keeping it deep yet sounding alot better. And just rofl, it's a shame I missed the coming of the Sock Commander. Though knowing the chatters, I can only assume someone like Lat had to get his word in on the song, haha. By the way, what's your uh, natural singing voice? Tenor, Baratone, Bass? |

Hahaha, all hail the the Mighty Sock Commander! Really have no good feedback, I'm not really good with music so I really have no valid imput. But the background music is a little samey, I like the vocals, lyrics and distortions just the music is lacking a little. I can't put my finger on it . . . anyway funny stuff.  |
