Uhhh hey! I'd downloaded one part out of 10 of transformers 720p bluray in mkv file format. For some reasons, after watching the video for less than a minute, my com froze up and I had to manually restart it. Btw, my com also crashes when playing any games except warcraft 3 dota (graphics set to minimum it also crashes sometimes but very seldom) and normal flash games like plants vs zombies. Could it be also because I viewed the file before even downloading all parts? Or is there something wrong with my computer? Can anyone tell me what's wrong? I've just reformatted my computer recently and installed my default graphics driver. The specs of my computer: (OBSOLETE) AMD Athlon 64 3200 ATi Radeon 9600 pro 128bit/128MB DDR 1 GB DDR RAM ABIT NF-8 motherboard If my graphics card shouldn't be overheating because I'd installed a 12inch CPU fan to cool my graphics card and I've placed a normal table stand fan to directly blow into my cpu case.. I've removed the lid. So may I know what's the problem??? Thanks in advance!! ^^ PS: I could watch a 720p HDTV Star wars episode 3 mkv very smoothly on my computer while downloading some stuff using jdownloader. Was basically blasting my subwoofer XD

According to your problem, I think those list below was causing your problem. 1. Defective Hardware - Motherboard, Video Card, or RAM can cause this. Even a single transistor or capasitor defect will cause this. Chipsets or any Device Chip will malfunction with defective parts, it may can turn to ground, melt-down, or even permanent dammage to your hardware. Try to see those transistors, chips, and capasitors if they are some parts that become fat, bulked, darken, burnt, or some major scratches will do. 2. OS - If the OS has bugs while running your program, this will cause system crashes and hangs. Virus or even a corrupted porgrams or OS's files will do this. Try to scan your computer from virus, malwares, or even kill unnecesary files that are running in your OS. 3. Program Defects - This is one of the common things why there are some hangs and laggs and crashes to a system while running the program. If the programs has bugs or even corrupted files, this mmay cause your computer to freeze. But I think this will not do in your problem because some games of yours laggs your PC. 4. DirectX Problems - This concens on executing Graphics and animations in your computer, if this device was corrupted or not updated, this will do to your problem. Your RAM and Graphics Card hardly execute your animations and stores information when DirectX is not updated or has defect. Try to update it. 5. Hardware Driver - incomplete or corrupted Driver in your system will loses it's capability to execute well. Try to find out that your hardware driver is executing well and it hasn't have any conflict with other hardware drivers. Try to check one of those things so that you will find the true cause your PC Problems. I hope I just give you a Hint. |
