Sorry if my question isn't clear but is it possible to send repeated preset-commands to my web browser? I think you use Command Prompt but I am a total noob with this part of the computer. Specifically, I wanted instruct the browser to open all the images (thumbnails) on a Danbooru page in new tabs, then download the images from those tabs, then go back to the original page, open the next one (or use Autopager to have them open already) and continue. So I can download the hundreds of images from one tag search on the site automatically overnight on a sort of autopilot rather than go through them all manually. I don't need to know the exact commands just if it is possible and what I have to use. |

I have a friend that writes scripts with python. He had to grab a whole bunch of comics from Megatokyo.com and just wrote something for it. He did the same for an Evangelion art database. I don't think this is exactly the same scenario, but I do think if you know the source code for the page then it could be possible with command prompt. You'd just have to have someone code it for you. I'm sure it's more than possible though. Shouldn't be that hard for an experienced person to make a batch file saying to download one file type, or a set of perceived file types.
Please send me a message with a link if you're responding to one of my forum posts. I usually don't go back to my posts once I've made them, and I refuse to subscribe to X# of threads. Thanks in advance.

thefifthkira: You can search the Programs you can used to download Pictures in the Danbooru Website in the www.Download.com. I just use a Multiple Image Downloader in that site to download image, not just Danbooru, but other image hosting sites in just one click. But I forgot the name of the Software. Maybe I search on that. ^_^ |
