There are two worlds - the human world, and the demon world. Humans inhabit the human world (hands up if you already guessed that) and demons inhabit the demon world (see caption on human world). The human world continues on as normal, while the demon world has continued on with knowledge of the human world. The demon world is ruled by one absolute monarch, the Dark Liege, but otherwise draws heavy inspiration from the human world, society-wise. It has been two years since power changed from the hands of the former Dark Liege to the current Dark Liege (read the Nora manga for details) and this Dark Liege is already bored. So, he set up a game. The rules are simple: One hundred demons from the Dark Liege Army will volunteer to be familiars to one human each. The humans must be residents of Tokyo, Japan, and they must be in Tokyo at the start of the contest. It's a battle royale, with the victor earning a major promotion in the Dark Liege Army - and the dissolution of the master-familiar contract, if desired. Fights are not necessarily to the death - each demon carries a seal proclaiming their participation in the tourney, and destruction of the seal means instant disqualification, dissolution of the master-familiar contract, and involuntary transport back to the demon world. If the Seal is in the possession of another party, the demon has two hours to retrieve it, or the seal is destroyed remotely. Unbeknownst to anyone but the Dark Liege himself, the contest is also a means to draw out the remnants of the Resistance that had been crushed two years ago. These remnants are likely to attack the participants as a means of guerilla warfare against the Dark Liege's regime. Destiny weaves its threads, and a random hundred Tokyo dwellers are going to be caught in the fabric... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules -No God-Moding or Auto-Hits -Romance is fine, but nothing beyond that. -Create your own characters. Rivan, Bajee, Tyron, and all the others may not be used as player-characters. -Keep the dialogue clean. -Write in prose form. Aqua Magia: Water/Ice magic. Anemosu Magia: Wind/Lightning magic. Terra Magia: Earth/Gravity magic. Eteru Magia: Soul magic. This is a misnomer. Eteru Magia focuses on healing, shield, transport, illusion, and enchantment magic, and you must specify one of them if you take Eteru Magia. Has a wolfish look to him, especially around the eyes. Sealing spell off: (Demon Form) Appearance: A demonic wolf, not a hellhound, but not far removed from them genetically. They hunt in packs. Darce is the Alpha Male of his pack, making him a target for other demonic wolves. Weapon: (only one) Appearance: A metal claw, fitted over one hand. Master Name: Toru Tokino Age: 16 Bio: A leader of a gang in Tokyo, called "Halfhearted" as an alias. No one knows why it's Halfhearted, and not something that sounds more fitting for a gang leader. Personality: Cold, heartless, somewhat cruel, extremely calculating. Appearance: Dyed-brown hair, cold smile. Hard look in his eyes. Is often said to look like a wolf (coincidentally).
