Human need for association?

One thing I hear from friends and family alike is that it is not normal for somebody to avoid personal contact, trust, and understanding. One thing we all hear from the more sentimental media and artistic community is that every person has some kind of "perfect love." I, personally, share neither of these sentiments. Opinions?

I don't know about "perfect love" but it is important to have associations with others. It is only through other people that life has any meaning or purpose. Trusting an understanding other people may be hard at times, but it is the only way to truely live. A LIFE WITHOUT OTHER PEOPLE IS SHALLOW AND EMPTY. |
