i bet many people are excited to watch this anime soon. I know that it's only a matter of time before some anime studio will pick this manga up and turn it into an anime. Well, it's finally here and it's green lit for Fall! Do you think the anime will be as good as the manga? or better? Here's the website: http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/fairytail/ |

@Danchou Yeah, that's what most people say at first look. I read somewhere that the two mangakas had similar influences, and went to the same art school, which would (partially) explain the similarities. Fairy Tail is by the same mangaka who created Rave (Mashima Hiro) :3 I don't follow the manga faithfully, but every once in a while I go take a look at a few chapters. It'll probably be interesting. ~!! It's going to be produced by A-1 Pictures, the same company that brought us gems like Kannagi (which incidentally I'm watching atm). ~Shirigeya~ ~Shirigeya~ :3 |

@ DA — The reason they have the same styles are because they studied under the same person, Akira Toriyama, creator of DragonBall. That's why if you look, all of their series have similiar art styles. Also, I am REALLY excited about this. The manga is atop my all-time list, right up there with Reborn, Inuyasha, and Rave Master. As long as the manga actually follows the story and doesn't stop ( Like Rave Master did ) I think the anime could be really awesome, and do as well as the Bleach and Naruto Anime -- It just needs to stay true to the manga. |
