Shakugan no Shana RP (Start/Open)

I don't think anyone's put up a Shakugan no Shana RP yet. Well, here goes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The everyday world goes on as normal, while the Crimson Realm overlaps it. From the Crimson Realm come its Denizens, which have myriad form and ability. Some take existence away from humans to accomplish their own desires, while others seek to stop such acts. To that end, they grant power to ordinary humans that have experienced some small piece of the Crimson Realm. In doing so, however, they forfeit their own ability to fight unaided. The everyday world and the Crimson Realm are intertwined. When too much existence slops over to one side or the other, both will meet ruin. A class of Denizen known as a Lord of the Crimson Realm has overwhelming Existence, and so Lord-class Denizens that are conscious of the balance between the everyday world and the Crimson Realm are far more likely to grant power to humans. A human granted power by a Denizen of the Crimson Realm is known as a Flame Haze. A Flame Haze is physically superior to just about any regular human, not to mention immortal to death by natural causes. Each one has some item that serves as a two-way communicator with the Denizen that granted the human power. This might be anything from a ring to a prayer book to a pendant on a necklace to a sheath for a sword they carry. Regardless, the Flame Haze always carries this item on their person. All fighting is done inside a "seal" that effectively stops time in a specific area. This is to prevent normal humans from witnessing titanic battles. It is also done so that any damage caused can be repaired by use of an ability common to all Flame Hazes: "Damage Regression". "Time Seal" is also an ability common to all Flame Hazes. When a person loses all their Existence, they just disappear. No body, no nothing, and that includes memories. It's as though they were never there. When a person loses some significant portion of their Existence, the rest carries on living as a "Torch" that will eventually burn out. Any Flame Haze or Denizen of the Crimson Realm can immediately recognize Torches on sight and estimate the amount of time they have left. Whew, that's all. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules: -No god-moding or auto-hits. -No killing other players' characters without their permission. (Same goes for controlling them.) -Romance is fine, but keep it clean. -Comedy is fine, but not when it interferes with battles. (i. e. someone dying by means of slipping on a banana peel.) -You may have up to three characters, but make sure they have equal screen time unless there is a reason they don't. -CREATE YOUR OWN CHARACTERS!!!!!!!! I can't stress this enough. The actual characters of Shakugan no Shana may appear as minor characters, so don't strain everybody's imagination. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are two different character sheets. Interesting... haven't seen the first season before but I know somethings since I'm watching the second season... Flame Haze Name: Rafael Turner, the Dragoon of the Dark Forest Gender: Male Age: 16 Skills: Fuzetsu-Unrestrained spell where normal time freezes and Crimson Realm entities can move freely Power of Existence Control-use the power of existence to reverse the damage inside a Fuzetsu Flight/Appearance of dragonic wings Spear battle mastery Wind magic-Unrestained spells specializing in wind element but can use other weak spells. Equipment: Black medieval knight armor, Ransuer Personality: Friendly, shy, naive, analytic, hates fighting Appearance:  Bio: Once a normal child from London who was a loner and smart. He was usually bullied as a kid. At the age of 13, he lost his parents because of a building collapsing over them, killing the couple and several other people. From the despair, Rafael was tempted to commit suicide until Shade appeared before him. After being comforted by the Crimson Lord and introduced to the existence of tomogaras, Rafael accepted the role of a Flame Haze. Lord of the Crimson Realm Lord name: Shade, Roar of Virtues Lord communicator: Bangle, attached to Rafael's right wrist, with an circular amethyst Lord personality: Outgoing, usually gives advices to his partner, serious about the fights with tomogaras, somewhat secretive though... Flame Haze Name: Rolf Halfhearted, the Halfhearted Assassin Gender: Male Skills: Time Seal, Damage Regression, Knife Throwing, Swordplay, Ice Magic Equipment: Throwing knives, a sack of assorted tools, and a katana. Personality: Very blunt. Can crack a joke, but all business on the hunt. Analytical. Appearance: Dark hair, somewhat tall, pale skin. Doesn't smile. Bio: He lost his parents to a Denizen at age fifteen. The Denizen nearly killed him too, except that Mateus found him and granted him power to avenge his parents. Having had his revenge, Rolf now fights so that no one else will have to suffer the way that he did. Sponsor Data Sponsor name: Mateus, the Imprisoned Sponsor communicator: A sheath for his katana. Sponsor personality: Not very talkative. No sense of humor. Denizen Name:Mystic Gender: female Skills: Time Seal, Existence Extract, super strength, speed, has minor control over elements (can only use what is around her and usually only uses it to "see" things and healing) Equipment: twin katanas, rope dart, hirikotsu(a large boomarang made of bone that is a little taller than the user, very heavy with a strip of leather as a hand hold) Personality: Playful and a bit childish at times, likes playing tricks on people, usually friendly and easy going but feirce in battle. loves to dance. Appearance:  Bio: Mystic is a Lord Class Denizen, but like to travel alot. she has two pets, kirin a a minor Pheonix, and kya a black wolf.

(Cc Flyheight) They are included, just not as main characters. The beauty of a Shakugan no Shana roleplay is that you don't have to set a specific timeframe - there's literally a world full of stories out there. BTW, the term Mystes is quantity-flexible.

Okay so maybe I didn't make my question clearer... Sorry about that... What I meant was... Why not include Mystes and Human classes in the character applications? Why let us choose from just Flame Hazes and Tomogaras? |

(Cc Flyheight) Humans technically can't fight, and Mystes aren't that better. So they're underpowered. If you like, you can modify one of the existing sheets to accomodate human or Mystes characters, but don't expect to be a good fighter.

Aisha became the companion of Ignis and Ignis then taught Aisha everything there is to know about becoming a Flame Haze. Arriving at the Chaos Gate, Ignis informed Aisha that this is where they part ways and that the Lord of Crimson Realm named Paimon has been waiting for her since the day they first met. Upon entering the Chaos Gate, there lay the flame of the Order of Dominations. Paimon introduced himself to his new Flame Haze and told her that he has been waiting for her and that he wants to restore balance to the world. While doing the contract ritual, Aisha recalled what Ignis told her before they parted ways. @All: Even though i joined i'll be away for around a week, so won't start the story yet. As there's not enough Tomogara, i'll start one more character. Tomogara Name: Kasumi Age: 18(appearance only) Gender: Female Skills: Fuzetsu Existence drain(through vampirism) Mist Control(mostly to conceal) Superhuman strength Lance mastery Personality: An extremely polite girl, acting gracefully to the limit Appearance:  Bio: A vampire-type tomogara. Unlike most of her kind, she carefully chooses her targets and can live without draining anyone for almost a year. She knows Senritsu since their childhood. Although, after Senritsu became Flame Haze, the two became enemies. She usually wears dark grey clothes and always carries her lance in her mist. |

mm yeah i think i'll add another tomogara Tomogara name : kiba yuuji Gender: male Skills: Fuzetsu Absorbing the power of enemy and everything inside fuzetsu , and imitate their technique but not permanent Superhuman strength Personality: a very kind man Appearance:  bio : he find himself appear on earth , at the first time he believe that he is a human, but oneday he realize in order to stay alive he must consume human.., he feel disgust of himself, but still he try to convince himself that he is a human until he finally accept that he is not a human after an incident. he still consume a desperate human that doesn't want to live anymore only after making him/her happy first, so he consider to give them the very last happines on their live before eat them and say sory before he do it. he was heard about Shikabane hiroi, and agree about its purpose to maintaining the balance between human worlds and Guze world, even though he didnt even know the true reason why Rammie do it. then he decide to do what Shikabane hiroi did, only eating torch not human he work at Ramen Shop that Inui usually drop by and eat, even they both know what they really are.

BTW, please feel free to start your own plot threads, and go ahead and create your own enemies. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rolf looks over his shoulder. Nothing. So far, so good. He resumes jumping from building to building through red-tinged air. "You won't get away that easily!" says an armored, knight-like figure that is pursuing him by the same route. "You'd think he'd get tired with all the armor he's wearing," Rolf mutters to what appears to be his sheath. "Or jump short or something." "Extremely light construction," replies Mateus through said sheath. "Only possible explanation." "I suppose," Rolf replies. He had long since gotten used to Mateus's concise responses. Returning his attention to the route he's taking, Rolf's eyes widen in surprise. "WHOA!!" he yells, skidding to a halt right in front of an old guy with a robe and beard, and a staff. His posture and facial features, however, are just downright sinister. "Weren't expecting an ambush, were you?" the old man cackles. "This is the end for you!" The armored figure literally grinds to a halt behind Rolf. "Great timing, Vanaimoenon. I was beginning to think the infamous Weaver of Powers and Magicks Arcane wouldn't show." The old man - a Denizen named Vanaimoenon - cackles again and says, "You expected otherwise from me, Mordred, Knight Bereft of Honor?" "I suppose not," the knight named Mordred - also a Denizen - admits. "Situation critical," Mateus observes. "Advise immediate retreat." Rolf takes the sheath into his hand. "How about you retreat, Mr. Sheath?" Rolf says. "I'm sure you'll get far." "Unfair statement," Mateus says. "What do you mean, unfair?" Rolf shouts. "All I'm saying is you ought to practice what you preach for once!" Vanaimoenon and Mordred take this opportunity to attack, but Rolf is ready for them. His argument with Mateus was just for show. The chain of events: Mordred swings his sword at Rolf. Vanaimoenon charges up a lightning spell. Rolf dodges the sword by means of jumping away entirely, just in time for Vanaimoenon's spell to hit Mordred. Steel armor - wouldn't you know it? - extremely conductive to electricity. Mordred fries, and Rolf throws a knife at Vanaimoenon. It hits him and kills him instantly. "Brilliant performance," Mateus says. "Not too bad yourself," Rolf says. Thus marks a typical day in the life of the Halfhearted Assassin and Mateus the Imprisoned.
