This is one reason why I don't compare anime much. The story of this two anime are not similar at all other than it being a music genre. If I have to choose, Nodame Cantabile got higher rating for me than la corda d'oro. They both have different music, so I can't really pick which is better since I honestly love both. |

..hello everyone... this thread is interesting.. this is my first time to have a reply.. i think la corda d oro and nodame cantabile are different in style.. they are the same with the music type.. la corda d oro...touches people heart with both love story and music genre from the start,,,there is a question that will mark...which guy will the girl come up with..? in nodame cantabile..it focuses on both life of noda megumi and chiaki..that why it interesting...and when you finish the first season,,it a bit cliffhanging right.. at the end, for me..nodame cantabile got a higher rating to any surveys that i took up and almost all people says that they like nodame because love and music genre was blended with comedy..not like la corda d oro..it is just a plain story with specific end..but it is also one of the greatest anime i've ever watch...together with kyo kara maou,and colourcloud palace |

mmm...I think Nodame cantabile and La Corda D'oro is diffrent but the music almost same...why you don't just watch both....I lke watch both...right now I have nodame cantabile paris chapter and la corda d'oro second passo dvd...its true what julius said...nodame cantabile is comedy romantic anime but la corda d'oro just romantic only...   |

| although they are the same music genre anime.. i like nodame cantabile more because it has comedy unlike la corda.. and, i do love nodame cantabile, especially the scene when chiaki played Rachmaninoff piano concerto 2 in season 1... |
