Why is this happening when I download?

Whenever I download a song it gets to 99% then a new window thing pops up that says "preparing to copy" and it'll stay like that forever not doing anything, when I press cancel on the preparing to copy sometimes it goes away and the download finishes, but like 2/3 of the time it'll just cancel the download and then if I try to download anything else it'll just pop up the loading screen for a second and then disappear until I restart my computer. Anyone know what's going on here?

I've had a similiar issue in the past. ( Not sure If I'm allowed to post here, but I may have a solution >>; ) Anyway, what Anti-Virus are you running and have you recently changed Anti-Virus programs? Also, when your downloads are finishing up are you running any other programs other then your web browser? The issue I've had before is the same, at one point because two anti-virus programs conflicted with eachother and my computer couldn't copy the file because it was scanning for virus' but couldnt complete the scan. |

Your files are downloading to /temp then writing after the full file comes in. This is an annoyance from IE that keeps me from using the browser. My best advice is to get another browser. Firefox if you don't have it, if you're using it, then it's a windows setting. |

Maybe browser related. Try doing a System Restore as well. |

Seraphna is right, it's an issue with Internet Explorer. I can't say for sure how to fix it, but you can avoid it altogether by using Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. |
