oooh! i love manga too, compared to anime... the artwork is more detailed than anime. for example - the hair. most character's hair are drawn like strands of hair but in anime...it becomes like patches of fur! o_O that's just one of my opinions...! ^_^ |

too bad,there's not many great mangas or at least the one that i wanted in my country.actually, i've stopped collecting them long time ago.getting busy with boarding school n now college,i downloaded them most of the time.but i love mangas.to me mangas is better than anime,most of the time.i enjoy the story n the art,both are awesome.  |

Manga are the best. Right now I gave in & am trying to find my "Hana Kimi" scanlations. I found all but chapter 140, 142, 143, 144, & special ending. I googled it, I MSN it too. Also tried spelling it "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" & tryed changing scanlations to Translations too. I bought 1-7 & will buy 8 as soon as it comes in. I just don't want to want years to get to volume 23. I have to buy the books b/c scans can't replace the real thing. Plus I need to one of these day save the money for the two art books out there & other fan stuff too. The 4 drama cds I don't need b/c I can't understand japanese. Hana Kimi I actually love above Inuyasha. & that is saying ALOT! B/c Inuyasha is my fav anime ever. So do any of you know where I can get volume 23 scans or those chapters? I don't know how to do IRC or I have it by now. All the files I have now are ZIP.

Mangas are more expensive! Anime you can download for free off the internet, and even if you want to have it on DVD you can usually get a series for less than $40 on amazon.com. But with manga you can't do that. (I know that there are scanlations available to download on the internet, but it's less available than anime and let's face it, scanlations aren't as good as the real thing) So if you want to collect manga, at the typical price of 8-10 dollars a volume, it can get really expensive!  |

but the average dvd in america is twice as much money as the average manga. if you're finding an anime for under 40 bucks on amazon there's a 95% chance it's bootleg |
