Yes so, um, I actually had registered back in 2007 but it never went anywhere from there as far as the forums or the chat because...well...I never saw them. ^^; I actually found out about the forums today from the chat I found out about three days ago. I'm really pleased with Gendou's chat, there are a lot of people there who are friendly to me, and a majority of the chatters are nice as well. The only problem I may have in the community is that I'm not sure the people I spoke with and become friends with in chat realized that I am not a girl, as my name may or may not lead people to believe. The fact that I use emoticons habitually (going from forum to forum in the past, it became instinct to express emotion through them) probably doesn't help make things any clearer. I am, as I've come to find many people online are, a quiet person outside of the "sanctuary" that my laptop has come to be. It's a sanctuary because I'm able to freely express myself, and if anyone wants to insult me because of my thoughts, they may feel free to, as it won't affect me. All that stuff aside, I really do love Gendou ever since my first day in chat. It was..."interesting", to say the very...very...very least, but the people I've met here just during the three days I've been in the chat have had a large impact on me. I feel horrible about having to leave to my grandparents' home later, as I won't be able to participate the fun times I'm enjoying so much (my grandparents have a dial-up connection, if I remember). As far as anime goes, I'm up to anything that's within reason. I've only watched 25 or so different anime, so I realize I still have much to learn about the crazy world that this community (for the most part) loves. My favorites are probably Higurashi, Bamboo Blade, Samurai Champloo, and Galaxy Angel. As far as characters go, Nomozu-sensei from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Ilya from Fate/Stay Night are memorable for their personalities (among others). The first things that come to my mind when I hear "Japanese music" are the bands Base Ball Bear and Bump of Chicken, artists Mami Kawada, anNina, and Himeka, and the group IOSYS. Game-wise, I play Valkyria Chronicles and LittleBigPlanet on my PlayStation 3 as well as the Tales of Symphonia games on the GameCube and Wii. Um, I should probably go to bed now, so, good night...morning...whatever. ^^;  |

Thanks everybody, hopefully I can actually stay active. I wish I could get onto the chat right now, but this computer has a dial-up connection of 21.6 kbps (and doesn't have Java, either). T~T; |
