I write jpop covers... and Im wondering... My friend can sing, so we were thinking of recording one... Putting it on CD, or something. By cover, I mean... um... an english version. Yeah... ^^ Ive written 41 of them. Im open for requests... provided this threads not deleted, and I can fulfill your request. ^^| Um... I need a translation, though, or even the kanji lyrics, and the song... It takes me 30 mins to 90 mins at the most to write one. So, preferably, a song from this site. Sorry, off track. ^^| I just want to know if itd be allowed to put them on Youtube, a CD, etc. Like, Im only going to give out the CD to close friends, who wouldnt give them to anyone else. Thanks; sorry to bother you all.

considering the amount of fandubs/covers on YouTube, i'm sure that you and your friend can post yours and not get in too much trouble. 41? and you can write one in at least 30 minutes? i'd say you have skill, but it's hard to say when we don't have examples. nonetheless, good luck with your CD, and i'm sure if it's just among close friends who don't intend to sell it, you won't have any problems. |

You can put your covers on youtube, absolutely. That's the main idea of youtube (other than copyrighted videos XD). And yeah, post some of your work first if you're going to be open for requests. ------- |

Ill start off with my first one: This is Kusari, by Kawakami Akiko. Its a great song... ^^ Kusari The bluest days are going by, shared, when time’s loop awakes somehow. Different people, different souls, surely something fantastic will happen to us, no? Can you fill a void with lust? Do loving people move to motivate us? I don’t care which one it is at all. I’ll just love you right here Light and our shadows, in this world, here, everything is a meaningful egoist. Each single peace, keeping its balance, will thrive with us for a long time in this. Your wishes are trying, my wishes are trying, beyond failure and our separated hopes. We’re in the same sky now, feeling the same slight pull now, with a chain mercilessly tearing at us all. Chain react The reddest moons are rising within our earth. When I screamed at my knifed spirit, you all looked fair. I saw something soft, a light in everyone’s teary eyes that told me to keep going aloud. Can you break it off with love? Can control force us to totally overcome? I don’t care which one it is at all. I’ll just love you right here. Light and our shadows, in this world, here, everything is a meaningful egoist. Each single peace, keeping its balance, will thrive with us for a long time in this. Your heart has flown, my heart has flown, beyond failure and our separated hopes. We’re in the same sky now, feeling the same slight pull now, our bonds learning little by little to shout Chain react In the dark, in the night, a small memory just passed without a meaning Light and our shadows, in this world, here, everything is a meaningful egoist. Each single peace, keeping its balance, will thrive with us for a long time in this. Your wishes are trying, my wishes are trying, beyond failure and our separated hopes. We’re in the same sky now, feeling the same slight pull now, with a chain mercilessly tearing at us all. Chain react What we all want, what our hearts have gone through… We’re in the same sky now, feeling the same slight pull now, hoping the clouds won’t rain down on us… Your heart has flown, my heart has flown, beyond failure and our separated hopes. We’re in the same sky now, feeling the same slight pull now, our bonds learning little by little to shout Chain react

Glad to see we have some talented songwriters and singers among us... Hey, listen, I think you should try translating your covers in verse, OK? I mean, prose translation is fine, but putting it into music would b kinda difficult, no? Oh...and my request is for 'Rolling Star' by YUI. よã‚ã—ããŠé¡˜ã„ã—ã¾ã™ï¼ |
