At the same time, Ritsu Tanaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bass player, are desperately trying to save the school's light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again. Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy... I really enjoyed the first episode of it. The ending song is absolutely awesome. The girls are all well cool. Funny you said "lucky star" revival, I thought that Tsumugi had some Miyuki vibes going on. Haha. I really liked it. Got a photo here;  Starring from the left, Ritsu (my favourite girl so far) Mio and Tsumugi. Yui isn't in the photo, but she's equally as cute. If not cuter. This was definite a moe-overload for me. :)

oh um the ANN pic doesn't show up, iCh but um I LOVE THISSS FIRST EP :DDDD Yui is soooo kyuuuuute >w< definitely moe like kirky said hahaha and um i reaaally like Mio. shes hawt. especially in the ED XD I can't wait to see moreeeee +_+!!! |

Very remindful of Lucky Star, but not entirely since it's not random at all, it's more of it's own thing (or different then randomness, like Lucky Star). Saw episode one yesterday and I liked it. Already read about this series way before it was announced to be release this Spring. Glad it's finally here. Yui looks A LOT LIKE HARUHI!! Anyone agree? Their auras though, are TOTALLY different, but she's very cute. Actually, the four are all pretty cute in their own way. Mio definitely is looking to be my favorite in terms of appearances, buy Yui rocks. Did you see the PV? I laughe OUT LOUD when she was waving to her friends (or someone?), and she ran across the street and bumped into someone walking towards her. The noise she made, like... it's unexplainable! WATCH IT! >_<;; Speaking of the seiyu crew, a pretty nice, yet unknown group. Wiki doesn't have pages for any of the main characters, but I know for sure I've heard them before. At first I thought Kanda Akemi was involved, as maybe Yui (or someone else, I forget), but nahh. K-ON is definitely going to be pretty darn good. Oh, and the OP/EDs are pretty nice, too. Goes well with the anime.

K-ON looks like lucky star a lot isn't it in term of graphic(love KyoAni) the level of detail is very good, if u watch mio's finger closely it's actually match perfectly with the music this series already become so famous after 1 epsd so who's your favorite girls so far? xD mine is Ritsu!

lol, Ritsu is like, Tomo (Azu). Yui might be my favorite so far though. That noise she made in the trailer, rofl, I saw it like 20 times when I first saw episode 1. =>.<= Yui or Mio will be my favorites, but right now it might be Yui (plus she looks like Haruhi!).

I would go with MIO for sure but somehow I kinda like Ritsu too < seems like Konata in some different ways especially with her gags and way of looking other people x3 As I heard, K-ON have a good start having almost thousands of watchers. Hope that this series goes up more and moar! nyahaha!! --------------------------------- going to edit first post later ;]

Oh, there are people watching this as well? Haha, naturally for a lucky star fans i guess. If i have to judge from episode 1, the only interesting ones are ritsu and yui. The others haven't done anything worthy of attention... Although somehow mio has a large fanbase already Well this is on my watch list of the season, so i guess i'll just see... |

K-ON!! It was really a smart move use Yukiko Horiguchi for character design~! (one of my favorite artists!) The designs are very attractive and fitting for the anime's set-up Damn Mio is just so <3   <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 I love the songs, especially the ED Don't say lazy ^////^ I can't wait for ep.2 tomorrow *wishes for subs asap*

I can't wait for this show to get up and running! KyoAni are making another good show methinks :) @DA I can see what you mean about the Haruhi~ness. Minus the aura for sure, as Yui is way more subdued. I'll have to re-watch ep one to see what noise you're talking about. Oh man, the following for this show already is unreal. I've seen so many Mio signatures and avatars already, mainly on MAL, although I do see one on here so far (good job Ich). You guys work fast man. I'll have to get on the Ritsu bandwagon. She's awesome, loving her enthusiasm :X It was especially moé when Tsumugi ordered at the fast food place. :3. She was blushing man! Well cute!  Can't wait for moar!

I never said Yui acts like Haruhi, just that they look alike, for sure (especially with that head piece in her hair). That noise she made was when she bumped into that boy crossing the street. It happened in the PV. It was like, "yiddae", rofl. Mio definitely is getting huge fanbase already. I've seen it even before episode 1 released.

Tbh, I didn't look at any of their chests :3 Haha, well DA it was just a matter of reading what you said properly methinks. As we reply quite frequently I know what you mean most of the time :D. A following before the first episode is pretty freakin' cool man! I love Yui and her little hair piece, it's cute. (Btw I ordered that Haruhi figma I posted a while back, yay! ;D) "Yiddae"? Haha, I definitely have to check that out! I'll have to download the closing song for sure.

just made some side sig for this series x3 they are really cute!! ---------- e d i t e d -------------- already watched episode 2 and wth they are really cute and slowly im getting a good grip with Yui but Mio is still the best though x3 lol they just dont even think that Mugi is really an Ojou-san nyahaha!! and wth 250,000 had been closed to 50,000 yen, the power of Mugi chains xD and also already heard the "yibbei" from Yui in episode 2 and its kinda cute x3 and seeing Mio explode because of her people sickness! nyahaha this is really interesting x3
