Hi! I found this site and was looking for some help from you guys. =) I am performing in Anime Idol at this convention I am going to. My voice is very powerful...think Beyonce, Christina; deep and powerful. I have only found a few songs where there are rich vocals for Japanese. Do any of you know any songs at all that use alot of power or could use alot of power? Very rich? Just the name of songs that you know could fit this. Please let me know! I could use the help. Thank you!

I know who you are from youtube. I think ayaka's Clap and Love would be PERFECT for your voice, and I think you posted a clip of it once too. I envy your powerhouse voice. Really, most ayaka songs would work well with your voice. I'm thinking if I can come up with any other songs for you to sing, so I'll modify this post if I come up with more. Why aren't you in gendou idol? T_T (I'm supersheba from youtube, by the way, though I don't know if you'd recognize my name. :b) |

Try Nana Mizuki's songs. Their really powerful. Like "Meikyuu Butterfly" from Shugo Chara or "Take a Shot" from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Gambatte! ^__^ |

I'm thinking: Utada Hikaru! Her cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams sounds just right for you, IMO. Though you could try to go all Christina and sing Beautiful World or Passion just for the heck of it.  --> |

Ayaka's voice might be a good fit, yep. The only one of her songs I know is 'Why', from the FFVII Crisis Core ending. It sounds good without background music, too. I think you might want to check out Hayashi Asuka's Chiisaki Mono. She was only 13 at the time, but what a deep and soulful voice she has. It might be a really good song for you! |
