Hey everyone! I was just wondering if there were any programs out there that are easy to use that can design webpages. I grow tired of dreamweaver especially when it's not for my own website. So instead I was going to teach my friend how to use a different program that's easier to use. He just wants to have pictures, hyperlinks to download and multiple page links. Free or pay software is no obstacle as long as it's easy to use, he does not care. I only know dreamweaver and he claims he's the hardest thing next to sliced bread LOL. Thanks ahead of time =3 |

Adobe DreamWeaver CS3's a professional choice; it's pretty powerful, and I'm speaking from experience. Unfortunately, all that power comes at a price - $349.94 for PC, and $364.99 for Mac. There's also the CS4 version, which is cheaper by $20-$30. You could give it a try by visiting http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver/ |

Uhhhhh....if you read my topic I don't want to use CS3 or 4 because it's hard to teach it it's okay I look at the previous posts suggestions and I found one that is quite simple yet effective. Thank you all that gave me inspiration and ideas. But keep on posting easier programs if there are anymore that exist =D. |

Microsoft's Visual Web Developer Express. It's 100% free and you don't need .NET to use it. You can create basic HTML pages. Offers pop-up tag attributes for CSS, HTML, and asp controls. I've been using it for 3 years. Nothing better exists, IMO. Note: If you work with SQL databases, this tool can connect to SQL as well. Yep, 100% free. Just be aware most web hosting services charge for SQL. MySQL is free, but is not supported in VWDE. More info: http://www.microsoft.com/express/vwd/ Enjoy! :) |

Or if you want to make it more easy for you. You can try searching for templates in templatemonster.com, get an idea of what you want or buy. You can easily edit the html using frontpage, visual studio, eclipse (code only) or whatever web designer you have
